In the back seat, under the front leading edge of the seat will be some 13mm bolts. this should make ease of the back seat removal.

I just did a water pump. If you remove the top PS pump bolt and loosten the lower PS pump bolt about 1/2 way you can push the pump over with one hand while removing the water pump bolt.

Park the car on a level surface, drain out all the oil and replace the filter. Pour in 4.5 quarts of oil, start the engine and run for 3 minutes, shut if off and wait 15 minutes, then check the level and top off. You now know.

i just happened to look up how to change my signal and figured it out in the process. open the hood and find your signal cluster. on each side is a white plastic clip, it's holding black plastic clips. pull up on the white clips and slide them off. then the whole assembly will come out. remove the rubber cover from the bulb closest to the middle of the car. turn the bulb assembly counterclockwise to remove it from the casing, change, and viola, no more broken turn signal.

The resistor is mounted to the heater case on the passenger side of the vehicle. There is a hush panel that you will have to remove first. The resistor is mounted with three very small hex headed screws. My advise is to remove the one closest to you when you are under the dash, and only loosen the other two which are very hard to get at. Sometimes, you can't get to them at all, so you will need to bend the resistor down and pull towards you while rocking the resistor. It should pop out with some effort. While the resistor is out, loosen the two hard to reach screws just enough to make it easy to reinstall the new resistor, then install the resistor and the third screw. You shouldn't have to tighten the other two screws. Connect all related wiring that goes to the resistor and the blower motor. There is one other thing to worry about on these cars. There is a water deflector under the wiper cowl panel outside the car that can sometimes fall off. When this deflector/ weatherstrip falls off, it will allow water to hit the blower resistor and will cause it to fail prematurely. Make sure this is installed correctly to avoid a repeat failure. To clear warning lights on the dash, ie: low tire pressure, change oil soon, etc. Look in the fuse panel on the dash when you open the passenger door. Hit the reset button and it will clear.

When you raise the hood, look behind the headlight assembly. There are two white clips running down the back if the assemblys.....pull them straight up to disengage the clips. This will release the headlights. You can now pull the lights forward allowing you access to the bulbs which twist into the back.

On the right side of the steering wheel. Push it up to activate, down to turn off.

Low on coolant? defective sensor should be located on back side of radiator approx. 1/3 down from top

PS Fluid reservoir is on the passengers' side, just in front and below the alternator towards the firewall . It is difficult to find without a flashlight since it's a black screw on cap. You will have to reach just below and in front of the the alternator to get to it. You will also need a funnel with a long tube (transmission funnel will work) to reach it without making a mess.

The hold down is a block at the bottom that holds the lip of the battery, and there is a big long bolt that screws in to hold it down. I'm assuming that bolt broke.

Start by disconnecting the battery, and you may want to remove some of the shrouds around it to give yourself some working room.

Cut off the bolt as close to the hold down block as you can, ideally so it's flush with the surface of the block. Then, drill it out. Replace the bolt with a larger one, or just get a different hold down from your local auto parts store.

I have a 2001 Buick Regal and in order to change the tail lights or Lic. plate lights you must first open the trunk lid. Now look inside the trunk lid you will see 8 or 9 plastic wingnuts, remove these wingnuts and the complete plastice panel can be removed from the trunk lid. Simply replace the buned out lights and reinstall the panel. TAL

It's best to remove the radiator and take it to a shop to have them do it professionally. It usually doesn't cost too much and they can make any minor leak repairs while they're at it. When they're done your radiator will be as good as new. Chemicals and power flushing of radiators will only remove loose material. If you have any compacted sludge in the radiator tubes you will not be able to flush them out without having the professional take care of it for you.

It is just above the oil filter. It is held in by a 10mm bolt. I removed the oil filter to change mine, be care full not to break it off trying to get it out.

Check camshaft sensor. When it heats up the car will shut down while driving in town or on freeway. It may start back up right away or it may take a few minutes to cool down then start up.
