To remove the rear bumper cover on a 1993 Ford Taurus wagon, the lights need to be disconnected in the rear. Once all electrical connections are disconnected in the rear, remove the taillights and the fuel filler overflow hose. Remove any nuts and bolts holding the bumper cover on. Using needle nose pliers, pop the push pins around the bumper cover upwards. Slowly pull on the bumper to remove it.

yes it does... however, the bumper must match the car. what i mean by that is, the sedan bumper will not fit the hatch. and vice versa. the clips are the same. the outer shell is shaped a little different. eg. the back bumper has a finger groove to make it easier to open the trunk. subtle differences like that.

The front bumper is pretty easy to take off, as long as the bolts arent rust fast. The first bolts to take out are the ones holding the bumper guards in place they are down under the fiberglass felance. Then unbolt the two side bolts, then unbolt the two center bolts.

Inside both of the front wheel wells are 3 small screws which run up the inside of the well...there are 2 small bolts at the bottom on the inside of the bumper in front of the tires (in which one has a guide bar attached to it)...then underneath, are 5 small bolts at the back edge...remove those and the bumper cover will slide out...there are rubber slides that fit into header panel slots holding it on...it will be snug so work it back and forth to loosen up...i just took mine off and put it back on fairly easliy...

The rear bumper will not, the front bumper will with a bunch of modification including fender, core support , bumper brackets, lights, wiring harness and a hood with one from a 70-76 car. Save your self a lot of time and trouble unless you have time and a donor car.

There are four bolts attached to the frame, on either side of the block by your fan belt, it will take some muscle to bust those loose.

1) Remove the tail light assemblies from each of their sockets. (3 srews each) 2) Remove the license plate and light assembly (I believe 3 screws again) 3) Lay down and reach up under and remove the 16 to 20 nuts from the bolts that pinch together the rear bumper to the rear of the body. They are a little long-winded, but you will see them clearly and hate them when you are through. Take care to salvage the thin template-looking metal strips the nolts go through. You may need to re-use it on your replacement bumper. Replacing the new one is done with these steps, only in reverse. It works better to have a helper in this replacing. The edge allignment works best to adjust it as you go since it is flexible. The second person on the outside cam move it as necessary to make it look right the first time. You will see what I mean when you start putting it back together.

Since most of the time the body kit bolts on but does not fit correctly you must make it fit. Most people use fiberglass and build up the areas that need to be filled. Once you build it up so that there are no gaps in the seams or very little gap then your done. You must get fiberglass sheet resin and hardener after applying let it dry and sand. if you dont sand and add on top of an uneven surface it will build up uneven the dry time depends on the temp and how much hardener is applied i usually just let it dry overnight since i work at night.
