1. Remove the ashtray from it's sliding bracket by disengaging two tangs at the back and sliding forward and out.
2. Remove the ashtray bracket by removing two bolts on either side (4 total) and disconnecting the power to the lighter contacts.
3. Remove the radio knobs with an Allen wrench. Use care to save the springs sandwiched between the inner and outer knobs.
4. Using long needle-nose pliers, remove the spanner nut around the radio volume and tuning knob shafts.
5. Disconnect the dashboard lamp, 5-connector socket, front speakers (1 for mono, two for stereo), rear speaker (stereo only), and amplifier cable (stereo only).
6. Remove single bolt on rear passenger side of radio. Radio will be free to come out backwards.
7. Remove downwards under dash. If there are other accessories below the radio, it might be easier to remove the dash pad and center vent duct, then lift the radio through the top of the dash.

Lever under the dash located in front of the emergency pedal. Pull it toward you and it will release.

Where is the Drain Plug for the Radiator for a 1993 De-ville?

You need a new ignition cylinder with a new key with the right resistor.

It should be under the steering wheel on the right side. toward the stereo. you should have to take the cover panel off.

If your coolant is at the appropriate level in the radiator AND in the reservoir and you have no leaks in any hoses AND your thermostat is opening correctly then there is something wrong with the electrical fans system. It is not an air conditioning problem BUT you will have a hard time getting heat in the car if the coolant is low. The system has two fans. One Hi speed and one Low speed as evidenced by the two different size fans behind the radiator. I had this happen on an 85 Caddy where I had to replace the Fan Module...cost me $120 and it's right behind the left headlights. Can't remember the procedure I used to get it out because I think it involved moving the battery or taking other stuff out of the way. The reason I cant remember is because I havent owned the car in about two years and the problem happened about 5 years ago and now I own a 92 Caddy. MUCH different performance and ride than the 4.1 engine. Good luck!

You have to especify wich sensor, a cooooomun caor has around 20 different sensors, ( TPS, AIR FLOW METER, Knock sensor, air bags sensors, coolant temperature sensor, etc.) WICH one. HA HA HA HA reddragon

it plugs in the back side of air filter box 2 wires.

I just replaced mine yesterday. take off the air cleaner to gain access to the belt adjustment which has a nut that pulls the alternator to tighten and loosten the belt. Then from under the car there is a bolt that goes thru the bottom of the alternator. This bolt must be loostened to allow the alternator to pivot. Then loosten the top adjusting nut described and push on the alternator and it will pivot free, then remove belt and have someone on top while you hook the new belt back in place. Tighten top adjuster, the book says .3- .4 in of slack while pushing on the belt firmly. Then retighten bottom bolt.

Check the fuses. Either that or the wires are shot and need replaced or spliced. Sometimes when a wire gets hot and it is split in an area the two halves separate and stop making contact. The main thing I would tell you is to take it to a machanic.

It sounds like you have a bad water pump. It had seized up on you and has burned the belt.

The relay is up against the fire wall. It was very easy to change and take it from me if I say it was easy it was easy. I just looked at it and it is black, rectangular, it is held in by 2 screws and 2 white clips. (on mine). it looks like there is 2 hoses that is going to it. I know that the clips on the side you can pull them to the side the one on the left slide to the left and the one on the right slide to the right. That will allow you to remove the top of the relay. Then just remove the 2 screws it looks like maybe a 1/4 inch socket. You should be able to remove it then. Then work backwards once you replace it. Be careful because the edges are sharp on the relay. I hope this can help someone.

driver side under the wheel next to the E brake. you should see the fuse door. above is what looks like a clip,sqeeze that and you'll be able to pull down the fuse box with the other hand. just push up to replace. see owners manual page 381.

Directly behind the power steering pump. There is a 5/8th hose, pull up from valve cover.

yes you can only need to put e lift kit to raise the car just a bit yes with 305\25\22 no lift just will rub a little when backing up and turning at the same time yes, need to nip and tuck! shave inner rear fender, which no one can see. so no matter if you got four in the back you get no rub.as for the front you need to fold the strut plate upwards so that the tires can clear the plate a few blows with a mallet will do the trick. dont raise the car it sounds and rides like crap when you do that. do it my way and you caddy will look good and roll right. by the way get three piece rims nothing cheap or heavy will mess up the tranny.

This model year engine usually had the fuel filter located right next to the carburetor, or on the fuel line under the hood. It may also be located inside the carburetor right where the fuel line screws in. If, where the fuel line screws in is a very large bolt, then the filter is a cartridge filter located behind the bolt inside the carburetor. That car is a bit before me, but I do believe it would be either in front of the carb up on top, or near the mechanical fuel pump, lower front side of engine in a clear glass bowl

Speed is computer controlled and there is no governor that you can remove.

take off the plastic covers under the front of the engine. then you will see a small hose on the passnger side of the car that runs down from the lower radiator hose around the passenger side of the engine. simply use pliars to loosen the clamp and pull off that hose. make sur to have a bucket there, and the fluid won't drain good until you remove the radiator cap under the hood.

are you sure you are looking at engine oil or is it the tranny fluid(which is reddish brown but there are also synthetic motor oil that are reddish in color but DO NOT MIX regular oil w/synthetic oil make sure of what you have before adding causes major engine problems
