i have been looking for the same answer and connot find it. i have even tried asking ford and they just beat around the bush about wanting to charge a $200 fee too diagnois the problem The fuse is under the hood. It is in a black box under the hood on the drivers side. You most likely will find a blue fuse blown. If the fuses are good you might have the same problem I had. I had a broken wire in the wiring bundle under the hood. The Ford garage found repaired it for around $150.00.

You won't notice any stereo separation with two subwoofers because our ears perceive bass as omnidirectional. Two subs can make more volume than one of the same size. If you are using two subs, you should either use two separate mono amps, or a two channel setup. As long as the amps have a high pass filter they will work equally well, although the wiring will be simpler for the two Chanel setup.

IF you are looking to open the doors all the way. on the inside door frame you will find a guide and a spring that attaches to the door and the frame the flat steal guide set in a pin on the door frame lift it and it should pop off the pin this enables the door to swing all the way open.

well, your lookin at RMS when it comes to speakers and amps, if you bought a 800 watt amp, you would be looking at 400 RMS just as you do with your speakers, i would recommend a 1600 watt amp, just for the fact that you always want a little play room with your amp, this way you wont blow the amp, (amps are more expensive than speakers), and if you decide that you want to get bigger speakers, you will not have to replace the amp. But all in all, i would say anywhere from 1200 to 1600 would do just fine for your sub..-Shocker

Remove the lightbulb connector from the back of your turn signal. Take hold of the lightbulb, push in and turn at the same time. The lightbulb will come out. Reverse the process to install the new lightbulb.

plug the two cords you are given into the meter and clip the pegs that are connected to it onto the object you are using! For example; connect the two wires onto two pieces of mteal (or copper) and put them in a glass of salt water, facing apart- not touching! And position in the correct place! Ta- da, instant electromagnet!!! It's like a battery!

You just need an accurate voltage meter.

Connect the meter to the poles of the battery. Start the engine and avoid spinning her up, even not for a short moment. The reading of the meter now can be anything; a reading lower than 12.6 volt indicates a weak battery.

Slowly increase the engine speed. The meter reading should increase too, but will get "catched" at an engine speed somewhere at 1000 rpm. (8001200) From then on the reading will stay "locked". It should be 13.8V; 0.5V higher or lower is the limit of what is acceptable. A voltage too high is NOT good: it will ruin your battery and wear out bulbs and other equipment!

A voltage regulator is good when the reading hardly reacts to change of engine speed or to adding power consumers like electric window heaters or main headlights.

Ans 2: sometims the voltage regulator is faulty when the remainder of the alternator is OK so it's worth considering replacing the regulator first because it is less expensive and sometimes it can be removed and replaced without taking the alternator off the car.

Radio/Cassette ONLY

Switch on the radio and "CODE" appears. Press pre-set button 1.

Press either the up or down tunning button until the first digit of the code appears in the display. Press pre-set 1 to store the first digit in the memory.

Use either tunning button to select the second digit of the code [until the correct digit appears]. Press pre-set 1 to store second digit.

Repeat for the third and forth digit, the display now shows the full four digit code. Press pre-set 1 to store the final digit.

if the correct code was inputed the radio will now work!!

hi guys,use of capacitor in car stereo amplifier is really helpful..specially when using an amplifier(s) to drive speakers.the purpose of capacitor is to maintain current level for amplifier(s) so it can perform better and give optimum performance to the speakers. Power capacitor uses the current from main battery and stores it in itself. and whenever car is turned off, amplifier uses the stored power from capacitor..

The question is ambiguous, however one possibility is a parallel circuit, which would permit one light bulb to remain lit while the other light bulb was switched off. By contrast, if the light bulbs were connected in a series circuit, switching one light bulb off would cause both lights to go off.

Remove the headlight assembly above the bad bulb to gain access to the burned out bulb. To remove the headlight assembly, open the hood, locate and remove the two tabs that lock and hold the assembly in place, with those tabs removed you can wiggle the headlight assembly out in the open. Now you can reach in and r & r the burned out signal bulb

check an inside switch that would turn it on and make sure it's not all the way on, to the left I think if it's on a rotary knob, or the wire came off a door post pin so that when the door is closed the light would go off, but not if a wire is off.

It is attached to the backside of the headlight switch. If you look up under the dashboard at the headlight switch you should be able to see the fuses.

There is a clip that can be removed, then it can be pulled off the side of the switch, however the easiest method is to remove the entire switch.

With one hand reach up under the dash, and follow the switch to where it meets the dashboard. You should on one side find a small metal button. Push that button in while pulling on the headlight switch knob and the knob should pull out of the dash. Then unscrew the trim bezel for the switch and remove the switch from under the dash. Now you should be able to easily access the fuses.

It should be in the fuse/relay center under the hood. Remove the fuse/relay center cover and look at the layout on the backside of the cover. You should see a 20 amp yellow mini fuse that protects the radio circuit (marked RDO) the same fuse covers a couple other circuits as well.

Do you have tail lights? If so, did you or somebody else install an aftermarket radio? On a lot of Japanese cars, the dimmer is wired backwards to what would be referred to as normal American design, and the aftermarket radio will burn out the dash light dimmer controller. So, not only will you need to buy a new controller, you will have to find the right wire, and eliminate it from the radio's adapter harness. Yeah it gets pretty messy, alright.

Usually when the turn signal indicator in the car blinks fast is because one of the bulbs is blown. Check to make sure all your indicators are working when you turn on your left blinker. There are at least 3, front.. mirror... and rear.

In the 91, there are two fuses for those features.

Fuse 18 (15 amp) runs the Backup Lights, Turn Flasher and Turn Lights.

Fuse 19 (20 amp) runs the Brake Lights and Hazard Flasher.
