I just bought a Pontiac Sunbird 1994 2.0 ohc l4. The Delco car radio doesn't works. I mean, doesn't happen when I touch any button.

The above link charges $9.99 for the codes. They are advertising their services here. You don't have to pay. Just do some searches online and find some forums and get the info there.

They have 6x8's in each of the doors, but they are acualty 6x8 plates with Alpine five and a quarter mid woofers and a separate tweeter, under the back baffle board there is two Alpine 6x8's woofers on a low pass frequency indepently amplified, also there is two three and a half inch inch speakers in the center console.

If your radio is displaying "Loc" and you cannot remember or know the 4 didget code to unlock it, you can take it to a local Chevy dealer and they should be able to unlock it for a small price as this happened to me.

The JL audio 12W7 and the 12W6v2 are the best products. They are not only loud but produce amazing clarity and can hit all notes HIGH to LOWSS. The technology put into them blow all other products out of the water. Unlike most subs a less powerful amp is needed to use these subs which is good because you wont have to purchase a expensive amp and shows how crazy they design these machines to work superbly with less power than other companies. Plus they aren't just loud and sloppy like most subs, they are loud, clean, and can land any note of bass. If your willing to pay than the best choice would be the 12W7 then the 12W6v2. Pleasure is a guarantee when choosing either of these.

the light in the display is probly burnt out. if you take the radio out you can take the top off it and the light is right at the display. you can take it out with a screwdriver. sometimes the light is just loose and will still work but if you need a new one you can get it at www.corvetteradios.com. hope that will help you out.

Try looking on the back of the fuse box cover, there is often a diagram there. If not it should be in the owner's manual.

First you have to take off the couple of screws on the bottom of your door panel. Then you take a flathead screwdriver and pop off the screw covers on the back of the tail light (brake light) on the inside of the car. There are two of them. The first radio used visible coiled wiring and a large circular wire antenna. It did not have a case or speakers built into it and did not look like what a person of today might expect a radio to look like. Hertz's design was the first properly functional radio transceiver which could send and receive signals, although these signals weren't informative. It would still be decades until we developed this technology to resemble the humble radio we know and love today.

You need the radio code first. Check your docs or contact a Renault dealer. When you have them and the console display asks for the code turn the thumb wheel on the satelite control stick on steering column. When you get the first number push the button under the wheel. Do this until all four numbers are set, you should get a bleep and the radio should work.

you don't neccesarily need a wiring diagram if the stock plug is still there. when you buy a wiring kit for that specific vehicle the wires will be color coded to match up to the new radio (red to red, yellow to yellow etc). you just connect the wiring harness for your truck to the wiring harness for your deck and plug 'em in. if it's not there...you need a 12v constant, 12v switched, ground, and +/- spekaer wires for each set of speakers.

If these decks are the same i have the xdvd8183, you could try this. Insert a DVD wait until you hear the sound, press stop twice on the remote then enter 26604 then ENTER and it should work. If not they have changed it, by the way you have to ground the park brake wire to a ground even on the stereo ground harness. Hopes this helps anybody

yes it does for it to work correctly

if you go to like best buy and tell them whats going on they will give this plug that wires into you rear speakers and it will plug into you rca jacks you have tune it so it sounds good but its only like 20 bucks so new stereo of 20 dollars im picking the 20 bucks if i strapped for cash

First, remove the front engine cover (the part with the glove box in it) by removing the two screw on the upper sides and the two horizontal nuts on the very bottom front on both sides. Then remove the dash face cover by removing the screw on the top left hand side by the drivers door hinges, and the two screws underneath on each side of the steering coloumn. Once these screw are removed, just give it a good tug to pull it off and over the steering wheel. When this is done, you can see the complete radio. Squeeze the plastic clips on each side of the radio and pull the radio toward you. Now remove the wiring harness and the antennae plug in. The radio is now free and out.

The radio code should be on a credit card which is in the car's documentation

If you don't have the code then contact your local Jaguar dealer, they should be able to look up the code on their computer using the VIN

Once you have the number......

Turn the key in the ignition until the warning lights shoe

Switch on the radio by turning the on/of knob clockwise

The radio should be blank

Enter the 4 digit code using the preset buttons.

If an incorrect code has been entered......

Hold the CATS button for at least 3 seconds, the number should disappear

Enter the correct number

You only have 3 goes to get it right - if you've entered 3 incorrect numbers you'll need to contact your Jaguar dealer to find out how to release the radio,. This may involve:

- disconnecting the battery

- reconnecting the battery

- running the car for at least an hour

- repeating the steps above

It's pretty easy, but if you have to ask it might be better to get a pro to do it for you. It's worth the money and it'll ensure you still have warrenty.

You can either wire it the way it should be and see if the power light turns on or if it has a stand by light. If stand by light turns on then something may be wrong. If you do not know how to wire the amplifier you can look inside it and see if the inside looks black as if it had been burned.

For the 2002 and similar models, connect an audio cable to the small socket on the inside left wall of the glove box. Depending on the type of radio you have, you will need to go into the radio menu and select AUX input.

BLACK = Negative (-) Earth

RED = 12V Power via Ingition

YELLOW = 12V Power direct from battery

BLUE = Antenna REM

BLUE/WHITE = Amp REM

WHITE = Front left speaker Positive (+)

WHITE/BLACK = Front left speaker Negative (-)

GREY = Front right speaker Positive (+)

GREY/BLACK = Front right speaker Negative (-)

GREEN = Back left speaker Positive (+)

GREEN/BLACK = Back left speaker Negative (-)

PURPLE = Back right speaker Positive (+)

PURPLE/BLACK = Back right speaker Negative (-)

It should be color coordinated. There should be 4 of 2 set wires (8 wire together) for the speakers. Each set should be the same color except one is the color with a stripe. That tells you the positive and negative cables going to the speakers. Then after you wire the harness to the speakers, connect the Battery and Remote lines.
