Check Engine Light

No it will not.

The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to a parts store or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.

There are many, many things that can cause the MIL to light up. You will need to have the problem diagnosed by first reading the codes and going from there.

Faulty: spark plug, spark plug wire, ignition coil, ignition module, fuel injector are the most common. Coolant leaking into a cylinder is another.

Internal engine problems such as burnt valve, broken valve spring, bent push rod, worn rings

Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery for few minutes, this will erase also your preset radio stations. Your Bluetooth settings remain untouched.

It's the ISP (Idle Speed Control)

It is not recommended. A flashing flashing check engine light is an indicator of a catalytic converter damaging misfire.

First you remove the cover from the diagnostic port under the driver's side of the dashboard. Then you plug the datalink cable from your scan tool into the diagnostic port. The scan tool will then show the diagnostic codes. Write them down and read a manual to see what has gone wrong.

It could, have the system checked for codes to know possible causes.

Take it to your local Parts Store and have them scan the cars computer Repair the Problems. The lights will go out.

If the MIL blinks at the moment the engine bucks, them its a cold stall, were the engine is about to turn off, if the light is blinking on its own, is impossible, MIL are constantly on, because its a emission related code.

After repairing the cause for the code, you can clear code with a scan tool.

First you need to find out why the check engine light is blinking. Borrow, rent or buy an engine diagnostic code scanner from your local auto parts retailer. They'll often even help you figure out how to connect the scanner and what the codes mean. The flashing light is the computers way to tell you that it's found a SERIOUS problem and you need to take care of it RIGHT NOW... or at least that's what the auto industry says.

Once you figure out what the computer is complaining about you should be able to fix the problem.

O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

If it has a circuit malfunction, or is causing a misfire.

With out knowing what code you have set, that question can not be answered. Some codes can be caused by failures that can be damaging to the engine.

Many vehicles will trigger a check engine code if the engine never reaches its designated operating temperature (Such as if a thermostat was stuck open). However, there are hundreds of other reasons a check engine light can come on. Putting in a thermostat solely because the check engine light came on is a very bad idea. Any time that light comes on you should have the vehicle scanned by a trained proffessional (The guy at Napa doesn't count). A good service technician can use the information given by the engine computer to determine what is wrong with the vehicle.

The check engine light comes on if a malfunction with the emission control system has been detected - it can stay on - or may go out and come back on in the future

I don't have an answer for you, but I have a '94 GS300 and the trac light was coming on. I just got the 75K mile service done and they said the error code pointed to TPS and GPS (I think?). They changed both sensors. The light still comes on as follows: If I turn the key to accessories (where radio turns on) and wait a few seconds and then start the car, the TRAC light will stay on. If I turn the key all the way from off to start (without pausing at accessory position), the TRAC light does not come on. I am taking my car back today to have them look at it again. More then likely your alternator is bad...But it also depends on what year your vehicle is as well...if its older then it could be the regulator...this tells the alternator how much juice the battery needs...So if your battery is not fully charged then when you hit the lights they will dim and get bright...Best bet..change both battery and alternator..

when i turn the key nothing happen but before that day i would have too turn the off and on a couple of time before it started.

You are supposed to get a 30,000 mile maintenance. So, if you have not, you are past due. Also, make sure the servicer resets the sansor so that the car will recognize that services were performed.

every time you put gas in your car make sure you tighten the gas cap until it clicks three times or more, also if that does not help replace the gas cap and still make sure you tighten it until it clicks.
