ANSWER
if your having a leak into the inside of the car on the passenger side, your heater core probably is cracked or has a loose hose. that leakage is an automatic sign of heater core replacement needed.
I had an over heating problem, no body can figure out, turns out the fin, in front of the radior, under the car was missing, as the weather grew hot I the temp was going to 260.The fin has improved it, also changed the computer, and boy it made a big difference on proformance. Now with the ac on after about 20 minutes in traffic when its over 80m degrees outside, car temp starts to rise.Changed the radiator, therostat, to 160, and changed the relays in front of the drivers side, in the engine compartment. I am thinking of getting a big block raditor, instead of paying a mech out of My ( ). Also the ac is leaking inside the passengers side, mmm. If I make the fan run all the time, its fine, but I'm still bent on finding out the problem.....
Did you replace the thermostat, and have the radiator flushed? If not, do so.
AnswerI have a 92 RS with a 305 TBI/automatic transmission that had a similar prob except i had a cracked radiator, when I removed the radiator i noticed that there was a build up of leaves and trash between the A/C cooler and the radiator, how they ended up there i have no idea, but it definatly made a difference in cooling the engine because the radiator is so small for the engine size. I also changed the fan and thermostat as a precaution due to the age of the vehicle, make sure you get the correct thermostat for your model, and check your fan operation by letting the car idle and heat up to operating temperature. It should kick in automatically(if its electric like mine), mine does at appx 220 degrees on the factory gauge. Also make sure your radiator cap is in good condition if it's questionable replace it since its a pressurized system. AnswerI agree, have radiator professionally cleaned/flushed if its dirty, maybe your fan isn't clicking on. I have a 93 v6 and that was the problem so I wired the fan to a switch/permanent on. check for coolant leaks. I found it is better to use the temp switch in the radiator and wiring it to controle the fan as the fan is only needed at idle. bad cores in radiars is the primary cause of overheating and this is caused by using water only in your system. AnswerI did the same thing with my 91 Z28 and ran it to a wire that was hot when the car was on.. This seems to work much better and the can hardly ever gets over 220 now. What is the widest rim size that will fit stock 1967 Camaro?
67, and 68 camaro's had what is called a "radiused" wheel well. So, the sky is the limit, as far as rear width. However, what makes it work is the "offset" of the wheel. The center part of the wheel, where the lug nuts go, in relation to the outer rim itselft. Tire shops have a tool to measure exactely what offset you need to achieve your goal.........Chuck.

Where is number one plug wire on distributor cap v8 camaro 91 rs?
It should be at a 4 or 5 Oclock position as you are standing in front of the motor.it normally points between cylinder #5 and #7. That is the normal position. If you choose that lug and make sure the next wire goes to #8 then #4 #3 #6 #5 #7 #2 tou should be in the ball park and should be able to time it from there.

no every VIN has 17 characters and every Chevrolet begins as 1G1
Correction: The VIN is correct for a 1968 Camaro built in Van Nuys, California. The VIN decodes as the 4,156 Camaro built at the plant. The 4th digit "3", indicates that it is a sport coupe model.
How do you remove a steering wheel in a 1969 camaro?
Remove the center cover of the steering wheel[usually pops off] then you will see a large nut. Possibly a 9/16s remove the nut with a socket and ratchet. Then use a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel. You can also use a piece of solid brass.Hold the brass on top of the threaded rod that you took the nut off of,while pushing up on the steering wheel with your knees take a hammer and hit the solid piece of brass. The brass keeps from messing up the threads where the nut came off.
How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 1998 Chevy Camaro?
Take the light assy off and it screws in from te rear.
To expand on the cryptic and nearly useless advice above, try this. Remove the ONE 10mm bolt at the top rear center of the headlight assembly. DO NOT remove any of the metal bracket bolts or change any of the headlight adjusting screws. Slide entire headlight assembly towards the centerline of the car until the two positioning tabs at the bottom of the assembly line up with the slots in the headlight bracket. Pull the entire headlight assembly forward and angle the assembly to clear the fender at the outer edge. At this point, you can use a screw driver to release the wire sockets for high and low beams and completely remove the headlight assembly (easier access to the turn signal bulb) or just leave the wires connected and work around them (harder access to the turn signal bulb, but possible). The turn signal bulb socket is now accessable. Press in the locking tab and rotate the socket to remove it. Replace the bulb with a 3157LL bulb. (The factory bulb is a 3157K, the 3157LL is a "Long-Life" bulb, and considering what a pain it is to change, long-life is well worth the extra buck.
1. Jack up car and support on jack stands (or use ramps) 2. Remove three screws securing under-cover to air dam. 3. Grip the light bulb socket and twist while compressing the locking clip. 4. Pull bulb straight up out of the socket and replace.
I've just done our 2002 Camaro front left turn bulb after discovering this answer here - but it's even easier than the above I think...
The piece of plastic that fills in under the front of the car is held to the front fender, the wheel well liner and the air dam with a number of screws. There are also two splits in this cover immediately adjacent to 2 of these screws - if you remove just the two screws that are behind the air dam that connect the black plastic to the finder, you'll find that you now have a small door that will hinge downwards to let you get your arm in.
Of course I discovered this after I'd removed the whole thing.
I think with some cars, you have to enter in from the hood and go behind where the headlights are. Not sure if this helps, but it's worth a shot.
How do you change fuel line on 95 camaro?
It depends on which line is bad. There is more than one line. Once you have figured out which is bad, get a repair kit, from the local parts store. Dorman makes a lot of repair kits. You may also need to run some steel line so you will need a flaring tool and may require dropping the gas tank. These are high pressure lines, not like the old cars so they must be repaired properly. We do a lot of that type of work here. It is messy and time consuming. The lines snake around in a lot of inaccessible places and are not a lot of fun to do. It is very helpful to do it on a lift. I couldn't imagine trying this on the ground. While doing it, try not to disturb any other lines (Like the brake lines) if you have a rotted out fuel line the brake lines may not be far behind.
Good Luck,
