What you need to acces is the factory amp/control for the radio which is under the dash right and above the gas pedal. Wire your radio harness and get your antenna adaptor. Unbolt and remove the factory amp and using the harness you unplugged, plug that into your nes harness and plug your new antenna adaptor to the mini gm antenna. remove the center panel between the cluster hump and glove box. pull the wires up from the bottom left of the hole in the dash. Take the new dash kit and put in the cage from your radio, put the a/c vents in the new dash kit, remove the two clips from the factory trim piece and put them on the back bottom edges of the new dash kit to hold in the bottom. Now plug in the harness and antenna, slide the radio in the kit and place the dash kit in the hole, top in first and push the bottom in. TAH-DAH new radio, and replace the speakers while you are at it you should have 4 4"x6" speakers.

How do you replace the inside drivers door handle on a 97 Chevy Silverado with power lockswindows?
2. Take the plastic frame off and away from the door handle. Do this by locating the plastic catches, push them in and down.
3. Take out the two screws inside the door grip.
4. Slide the tool to lossen the door panel to each of the plastic keepers and pop them out.
5. Do the same for the triangular piece above the door panel towards the front of the door.
6. Wiggle the door panel up and out. The electrical plug ins may keep the door panel too close to the door to work on the handle, use discreting if and when taking the wiring off.
7. Drill out the rivit holding the door handle in place. Slide the door handle forward toward the front of the door. Use needle nose, or whatever you can, to push out and release the two (2) rods connected to the handle. Now take out the door handle.
8. Do the same backwards to replace the door handle, you may want to use whatever you want in place of the rivit. A screw, tapped threads and bolted, etc. will all work.
I don't know who did the below, but it was difficult for me to follow! Not discreptive enough for me!!!
Need a rivet gun and rivets. Remove inside door panel...(need to remove a few screws. Panel is attached by plastic rivets so pull hard but gentle. Start from bottom and work around and up. Then slide it up to remove. I don't know if your door will have it but you might need to remove a metal plate (hexscrews) Now it gets a little tricky to explain. You'll see a thin metal wire attached to the door handle with a plastic lock nut (needle nose pliers to remove. You might also need a drill to drill out the rivets holding the handle. Reattach the handle to the wire BEFORE replacing the rivets. Then work yourself back to installing the door panel.I just did this a few weeks ago with power locks and windows. email me at candyman72101@hotmail.com if you have questions

Internal leakage on the spyder?
answercheck the firing order Turn the engine using a socket wrench on the large bolt on the front of the crankshaft pulley. Place a finger near the No. 1 spark plug hole and turn the crankshaft until the piston reaches Top Dead Center (TDC). As the engine approaches TDC, you will feel air being expelled by the No. 1 cylinder. If the position is not being met, turn the engine another full turn (360 degree). Once the engine's position is correct, install the spark plug. check the rotor location and start #1 plug wire where the rotor is pointing the firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the distributer turns clockwise answerI doubt it's the order, because I have a '91 and the only I had with it fuel wise was a loose wire on top of the tank 'cause of the bumpy roads, I live in Hawaii so,anyway, so check that too. It also could be a clogged fuel filter or line like I said a loose connection on your fuel pump or the pump itself could be dead. You never know, dodo happens. Why does my car die when I put it in reverse?
Sometimes the torquconverter can fail causing the engin to stall. In reverse it lock in full torqu. In fwd gears it slips. This is only one idea.

What kind of transmission fluid does 1991 Chevy 2500 5 speed use?
Assuming it is a 5.7L I found this article in Alldata's TSBs
"5 speed manual transmission requires the use of a special synthetic lubricant . This special lubricant is required to reduce transmission internal operating temperatures. The synthetic lubricant does not require periodic changing. If it is necessary to drain and refill or add fluid to the transmission, DON'T substitute any other lubricant. Installation of other lubricants may result in internal transmission damage."
