Making A Miniature mold For Small Bricks?
Easy. Use that play - dough stuff that you can buy in alomst any craft or activity shop. Mould it to the size of the birck you want only a little bit bigger, and hollow it out. then fill it with plaster of Paris or wet clay or whatever. When you come to take it out of the mould, the play dough might have dried. If so, brush it with a little water before trying to remove the finished brick.
Some glues, such as PVA glues in particular, can absorb water.

What is craftsmanship and why is it important?
Craftsmanship is finishing each step of your project, such as removing glue squeeze-out, hiding nail holes with wood putty and sanding, stright lines on all cuts, radius cuts free of flat spots, paint-stains etc. ,applied evenly, sanding is paramount to a fine finish, Craftsmen have steps they go thru when doing a project, and they finish each step before moving to the next step. they use exact measurements, and exact cut. EXAMPLE: You have 4 boards that need to be cut 9 3/8" long and 6 1/4 wide, a beginner might cut a board 9 3/8" and then change the fence setting to cut the 6 1/4" side, the problem here is when you go back to cut the other boards at the 9 3/8" you can be off a fraction and then the fit becomes ill fitting, and assembly problematic. a craftmen would cut all the boards at the 9 3/8" length and then cut the 6 1/4" wide side, each length dimension being the same , and each width dimension the same. I know this explanation refers working in wood, BUT, apply these principles to any Craft your working on, it works. Remember: Planning--Patience--Accuracy--Finishing each step & Finish the Finish. "CLOSE ENOUGH" Is not a Craftman!
take two long or short strands of craft lace and put them in your hands. then put them in the form of an x or + sign. I prefer +. then you should have 2 short strands on each side of each color. pick one color and bring the first short strand over the left hand side of your finger. then put the other short strand over the right hand side of your finger. hold the strands down with your free finger. then stick the short strand of the other color over the opposite color that is not in front of it but the one after it..do the same for the other. once you have done that.. you should have four colors overlapping each other on each left and right side...take one of each color in each hand on each side and pull the short strands tight after you have removed your finger from the middle. continue on the project witht the following directions. If these do not work for you please go to YouTube.com and go to jbwetzel03's channel for a boxbraiding video. Thanks!

Where is The Burmel Handkerchief Corp?
There is little information about the "Burmel" label in online sources, but links suggest an early 20th-Century firm (Burmel Handkerchief Corporation) that designed, trademarked, and produced the original linen designs. Apparently there is no longer a manufacturer. Either genuine (vintage) linen or copies are currently sold.
What is some information on fabric painting?
Most good craft stores carry fabric paint. You can get it in squeeze tubes, of jars, it comes in hundreds of colours, five or six different finishes and several systems to "set" the colour.
If that isn't enough there are special mediums you can mix with ordinary craft paints to use on fabric.
I recommend you spend a little time reading the packaging of the various types available in your local craft store and decide from there.
