If the 93 Stealth came with a crank sensor but it does not have one now, then it will not start. The sensor shows the ignition coil when to send power to the spark plugs.

You need a new battery or it has a battery cable connection problem. The battery needs a full charge too - like driving around for an hour to charge it back up. A voltmeter is useful to read battery voltage when cranking. 12.6 volts =full charge. When cranking it may drop to 10 volts. If the starter won't turn over use the voltmeter to check for the 12 volts on the battery and then starter battery cable connection point.

yes as long as the engines of both cars were both the same engine. IE: both were SOHC. Or both were DOHC.

for the twin turbo you need to drop the downpipe and the front transfer case. Then you need about a 16" extension to loosen the two 14mm bolts on the starter itself then drop it out and replace.

under the hood there is a fuse pannel on the passenger side of the car down towards the headlight assembly. On the pannel it should say exactly what relay it is.

That switch is for the transmission. the stealth came with optional tranny settings for power and economy. gas is better with the economy setting but you have more power and torque with the other setting.

this switch also improves your shifting speed to increase acceleration.

if your having problems with it not idling right and it dies on you because the rpms drop to low...you need to reset your neutral safety switch. any time the battary gets unhooked and this sounds funny but you don't let your car know the computer system thinks its beign stolen so it wont run right. when you reset it let your car run for 15min letting it run through two fan cycles that will allow your car to reset it self and it should work just fine i had this problem too.

The spark plugs are A very unlikely source of the problem, because worn spark plugs act up at start-up then they get better as the engine warms up. Fuel injectors generally either work or not, and if they have any other problem besides "not working" it should be leaking fuel into the engine at an increased rate, this would cause the engine to consume excessive amounts of fuel and would cause the engine to not want to idle, Other symptoms would include but not be limmited to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,difficult to start,black or grey smoke from the exhaust,missing,not wanting to stop when the ignition is turned off..... I do not know what the problem is, I was watching hoping that someone else had A GOOD idea of what it could be because I have A car with this same action. Jamison.

on the 4G63 it runs off the cam-shaft. otherwise, it is behind the crankshaft pulley, an inductive bell and strobe setup.

The previious answer is true, but the 92 Dodge Stealth came with 3 engine options. The Base Model came with a SOHC 6G72, The ES and RT with a DOHC 6G72 and the RT/TT with a Twin Turbo DOHC 6G72. In answer to te question in 92 the crank sensor is run off the camshaft similar to the 4G63. It is located on the intake camshaft, of the rear head on the transmission or rear of the block

Probably your ECM capacitors need to be replaced--do it your self pretty cheap. pay for someone to do it--about $250-400--they'll do it in about 10 minutes.

yes it does have reverse? wtf?

not sure what you are asking or telling? if it wont go in then you may need a new transmission but the car has reverse none the less
