"Where is the radiator drain plug on a 1999 dodge stratus?" Most "drain cocks" I am not being nasty, that is what they are called. they are located on the drivers side. Look on the lower left side, it looks like a wing nut or a straight bar (plastic), some look like a plastic hexagon

The battery is located in front of the left front wheel. You will need to remove the inner fender liner to access.

My 2000 did about the same thing. I had to have the shift solenoid in the tranny replaced. Cost was approx $550. Well I was told that I should clean all electrical connections to the trans, a signal may not be getting to the parts or controller, so I got some brake cleaner in a spray can and cleaned all connections, blew dry them with a air blower and connected everything back together, Took a test drive and within 5 minutes the CEL went off trans shifted fine and now 20 miles later no signs of trouble. Hope that fixed it.

Probably it's a low battery, though it could be a bad starter. You are probably hearing the starter solenoid clicking.

The state inspector showed me that it is located on the front of the motor kind of off set to the right close to the top. It has two vacuum hoses coming off it. One on the left and one on the right.

If I hit on something that you can be more specific about then rewrite a question and we will see what we can do. Your are having some troubles with the way it runs or sounds or both. No trouble light is on or you would have a specific area to look at. You did what most people do and ran a fuel cleaner through the car and it made no change. You opened the hood and thought, " now what do I do". I don't want to pay to get this looked at when I know I can fix it if I can find it. So several things. Is it missing, hesitating, slow to accelerate, poor gas mileage. Then you need to look at ignition system and fuel system. Is there a noise, rattle, or loud clicking. Then look internally. Most often people run vehicles and never do a thing to them. So a tune up is most often the fix. Sparkplugs, wires, cap, rotor and air filter. If this doesn't fix it then what did the sparkplugs look like when you removed them. Clean or full of gunk? Gunk could mean the intakes are still dirty and they need to be cleaned. Running another furl cleaner through might help or replace the injectors. After that you have adjustments to the valves, checking compression for ring wear or worn out bearings. All have specific tests and problems that would take a manual to find. So go get one and walk through the symptoms. If you need help come on back. We will assist as we can.

Fog light switch on similar vehicle (2005 Sebring) is on the end of the light control arm, on the left side of the steering wheel. The fog light is turned on by pulling out on the cap (end of the control arm) or pushing back "in" to turn it off.

Hi! My wife has a 96 stratus and the same problem just happened. Unfortunately the Relay is basically behind the stereo console and requires to take alot of the front dash off. Her case however I notices this. The break lights worked just fine. Under the steering colum you will see 2 screws one far left one far right (towards break and gas petal area). Take those out and the black guard above the break petal should come off with no force. Check to see if all the plugs in the back of the fuse box are plugged in all the way. Her case the top right one (blue colored) had slid out a little and this fixed everything.

Check to see if the brake lights are working - brake lights and shift interlock are the same circuit. If brake lights are not working check the fuse or thealignment and operation of the stop light switch or try the following as a temporarty measure: Turn key to 1st position (Unlock) without starting vehicle Shift to Neutral to start vehicle Then shift to Drive

I filanny got an answer. Echo taillight bulb is also break bulb. This bulb has TWO filaments in it, one for taillight and the other for breaklight. My case was taillight filament is gone, but breaklight filament is OK. Answer is "change the bulb" Model number is 7443, (not 7440, which has only one filament for breaklight). No, this battery is a maintenance free battery. In fact it probably cannot even be opened to add water.

buy the adapter harness at the stereo shop and the shrowd it will make your life much easier then just match up the wires and plug it in
