Where is the pcm located on a 1988 ford bronco?

PCM is located behind the driver's side kick panel. To access it, remove several of the screws retaining the black carpet threshold that holds the kick panel down, and remove the large round press in button in the front of the kick panel. Slip the rear edge of the kick panel out from under the threshold. Pull back and up on the kick panel to release the 2 Christmas tree panel clips. Once out the PCM is located in an indentation. It is held in with a white retainer near the rear edge. Care should be taken to protect it against static electricity. The front of the box extends through the firewall into the engine compartment. Looking into the engine compartment, it is below the cruise control servo. The PCM is fed by a 60 pin connector that attached to the PCM with a bolt in the center. The bolt must be loosened and the connector can be wiggled off. Hope this helps. J. R.

Where do the 2 vacuum hoses from the pcv valve on a 95 Ford Aerostar connect to at the other end mine is missing 1 vacuum hose?

Many of these PCV Valves come with a plug to plug one of the holes. My 1996 4.0l only has one PCV valve vacuum hose. Most new PCV valves for this come with 2 ports and a plug to plug the one that you do not need. Probably you only need to hook up the one hose.

If your check engine light is on see if the code is due to a vacuum leak, if it is not coming on you most likely only have one hose and need to cap the other port on the new PCV valve.

What type of transmission fluid does a 2002 dodge stratus use Dexron or Mercon?

It uses Diamond Tech/Diamond Pro from Mitsubishi and I can't find it anywhere. A couple of stores tried to sell me a substitute but be careful if you still have a warranty, you'll probably void it...

Escort stop runningwhile driving it cranks and has fueL AND SPARK?

Does your auto seat belts make any noise ? If it does, you could have a defective EEC Relay which controls both the seat belts and the power to the computer module. Intermittent power failure to the computer module will cause engine function interruption. lrp2@hotmail.com

What would cause steering problems on a 1996 Chevy Cavalier when the steering suddenly becomes difficult you get past that point it's OK for awhile and then the problem repeats itself?

You may want to check this with your dealer, but not too recently the cav and sunfire had a recall on the power steering. Something about a bad gear and power failure when making left hand turns. They would either replace the faulty gear or the whole rack and pinion assembly. Either way have it checked out. A steering problem is not a nice problem. It may cause accidents or death.
