Headlights have two filaments; one for low beams and one for high beams. There is a good chance that the low beams are burnt out. This doesn't necessarily mean that the high beams won't work. However, it's not too common for both low beams to burn out at the same time. Of course, it could be a fluke. I would replace the headlights with new ones and then go from there.

Judging on what I found online, 302 V8 made between 82-85, High Output, Non-Roller Cam, the firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.

I got the same thing in my 87 bird. High band is burnt out. Check you Trottle valve (tv) cable adjustment.

There should be a button inside the armrest console. If not there is a release switch on the passenger side inside the trunk.

No. The 1996 Ford Thunderbird does not have a fuel pump access panel. You would need to get the car on a lift and then drop the gas tank. Then you can reach the fuel pump.

Have the starter tested at your auto parts store. Sounds like a bad solenoid or bad starter.

On mine there are a series of notches cut into the edge of the main pulley nearest to the engine block. The notches are not deep and can be filled by dirt and paint and so can be hard to see.

First, remove the instrument cluster bezel, the wood trimed (look) piece surrounding the speedo, A/C register, fuel gauge and temp gauge (standard). There should be 3 more Phillips head screws holding the clock in. Remove screws, unplug clock, and unscrew/remove 2 illumination lights from back. If the unit is not working, try cleaning the metal connection at the back with some fine sandpaper or steel wool. This has worked for me in my 1979. Hope this helps!

The mega fuse for a Ford Taurus is in the fuse panel on the passenger side under the hood. It is a factory specific fuse and will have to come from a Ford dealer.

Hey Leigh==If it shakes when wyou applly the brakes, the front rotors or rear drums are warped and need to be turned. This can also cause the ABS light to come on . Good luckJoe I had this problem with my car and my dad got a hold of it and looked at the trans as it was having problems. He tightened the tail shaft and it hasn't done it since. I don't know if you have fixed your problem, but maybe that will help, I don't know. Good Luck Kenneth

It will have two; one in each of the exhaust manifolds. They are hard to get at, and you need a special socket to remove them with.

I would check the blinker bulbs on the side that doesn't blink (front & back). If neither side is working,there is a round chrome blinker fuse,located under the dash board close to the fuse box,it's width is about the size of a half dollar. If that doesn't solve your problem,then it most likely will be either in the wiring or the switch. If it is in wiring or switch,I advise you to take it to a mechanic,you do not want to mess with the wiring or switch,you could cause yourself a big headache and pay A LOT more...

Replace the hinges or hing pins if possible.
