One... It's screwed right into the exhaust manifold. It's very easy to get to but can be hard to get the old one out... They make special sockets for O2 sensors.

I own a 97' geo but have two sensors...

From 1996 on, the system is OBD-II, which has two oxygen sensors, one on the exhaust manifold and a second one on the catalytic converter. Pre-96 only have one on the exhaust manifold. The sensor wiring varies with 3-pin and 4-pin variations.

Possible but very expensive without a donor car for the parts. I would suggest you forget this and sell this car and buy a manual.

first make sure you have the right size fuse. if it keeps blowing then you will have to figure out where the extra current is coming from. start by checking the wires. make sure that none are broken or have bare wire showing. most of the time a wire rubs against something and gets a bare spot.

Yes!! There is a header available for the Suzuki g10, 1.0 liter, 3 cylinder engine! You can find this very easily at "suzukird.com" You have the option of a flange, and/or an o2 sensor bunghole!

The steering racks do not interchange, you can not take a 1989-1994 MK2/3 rack and pinion and install it into a 1995-up MK5(and probably MK4). The Pinion is too short, in the wrong place, and if you want it to fit, bust out the die grinder, the welder, and related modification tools.

It is possible to replace a windshield wiper arm without replacing the entire mechanism on a 1995 Geo Metro. This would only be possible, though if the arm was broken off above where the wiper connects to the wiper motor.

Plug a code scanner into the OBD and find out if any computer codes are stored. You could have an injector problem, a dirty air filter, bad plugs, bad plug wires or any of a number of other problems. The computer code will give you a little direction, even if it doesn't show any stored codes. Without stored codes it tells you what ISN'T wrong.

The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank in the rear of the vehicle, I suggest taking it to a mechanic if you do not have the proper tools.

Look in your owners manual... there is usually a lay out in there near the back of the book.

They charge $4.99 for the code but they got back to me in an hour or so and the code worked perfectly. Better than paying a dealer $40 - $50!

The fuel pump is in the gas tank. While you are in there, you should replace the screen that is on the suction side of the pump. Also, the fuel filter is just outside the tank and should be replaced. Mr Geo Metro leehduncan@verizon.net

Re-set? No, but what is happening to make you want to "re-set" it?

The only thing that comes to mind when you say 'reset' would be clear the computer codes. On my 94 you remove, then replace the tail light fuse. But on most cars you can remove on battery cable for a minute, though some might have battery backup (for the computer), I doubt the geo does.

Simply remove the trim panel around it, take off the control knob and unplug it, unscrew the screws and replace it with a new one.

The quick way to check is when you turn the key to the on position, you will see abs as one of the check lights.
