it rolls the window up and down, but that's not the problem. it's your window switch, very easy to replace and not exspensive at all, it's a plug in part

it is located on the intake under the plastic covering it is what the throttle cable is connected to adjusting should not be nesacary as the ECM makes adjustments constonly based on its sensor readings.

In the trunk under the carpet is an acess pannel with about ten plastic 10MM nuts. After removing the nuts remove the pannel, under the pannel is the top of the sending unit. Remove the three lines. One is the pressure. One is the return line and the other is the vapor line. After removing the three lines disconnect the electrical connector remove the snap ring and lift the sending unit out of the tank. reverse precedure for reinstalling

1 Fix the prob.2 deconnect the positive battery cable for 10 minutes this will reset the computer and shut off the light but it will come back on if yoou don't fix the prob. that caused it to come on.3 you can get a book on the car that has the PC codes (resons for the Ser. light to come on) in it and then use a jumer wire to find out what code the PC detected, Then fix the prob.

Your windshield AND wiper blades a good cleaning. if the blades are a few years old, replace them.

Follow the upper small black fresh air hose from the filter box to the back of the engine. There will be a plus shaped device on the end of the hose. It's really hard to find, but it is probably behind & below the EGR.

The blower motor resistor circuit board has gone bad.

Replace the blower motor resistor. I did Still dont work

Try the fuses...Had the same problem and it was a blown fuse.

Oil filter for 3.8 L is located behind the passenger side front wheel. Can be removed easily from under the car.

transmission pressure control solinoid

check owner's manual. should tell you in there. Sometimes it will tell you on the oil fill captoo.

Most often hard shifting can be fixed partially by a transmission flush and change of automatic transmission filter. Also, i have had luck with using a large magnet on the bottom of the transmission pan before the flush because parts of the clutches that are loose will not be filtered by a clogged filter. Also, on my grand am, the transmission fluid was dangerously low when i went to change it when first buying the car- this could also be a possible problem.

The fuse for a signal light would likely be located on the side of the dash board. Open the front passenger door and on the edge of the dash you will see a fuse panel cover grab it and pull should be a map of fuses in the back of the cover

The other location of fuses is under the hood but it is mostly circuit breakers and engine fuses

in the center console,near the Ebrake and shifter there is a button labeled ETS. that controls the turning on and off of the track control. u can maualy turn track control off by pressing this button.however after shutting off the car and restarting it,it will go back on.

a 3s-gte which is a 2.1 turbo is the easiest engine swap. this engine had 200 horsepower in the 5th generation. It was increased to 245 horsepower for the 6th generation celica. I have heard of a supra twin turbo being crammed under the hood a 5th generation celica, which can have upwards of 300 hp, but then you might as well just buy a supra as the cost of the swap would exceed the value of the car.

edit: the 3sgte is a 2.0 turbo charged engine and it would be better to swap a 5sfe turbo

You didn't state the engine size. If it is a 4 cylinder (which I have never seen in a GT but they say they exist) it is simply 1 2 3 4 starting from the passenger side of the car and working toward the drivers side. If it is a V-6 3.4 or 3.8 the front cylinders starting at the passenger side are 1 3 5 the rear cylinders starting at the passenger side are 2 4 6.

Long Answer: Yes they truly are the same.

From the outside it looks like a muffler. It's on the exhaust pipe, in front of the REAL muffler and behind the manifold.

Any particular year? Aould be suspicious of a battery or starter off the top of my head. Although a loose connection could also be a cause.

there isn't one im pretty sure if there is it will be in the valve covers

I can try to help with this one....I had to teach myself 2 days ago how to do it. There are only a few bolts that have to come off ....the part I didn't know was that the caliper has to be screwed in....you can't use a C clamp. if you don't have the tool just take it to Auto Zone and they will screw it in for you free of charge. That's what I did. Sorry I don't know the terms to give you better detailed directions. if I can figure it out anyone can :) A little tip - Im always looking for a easy way - My 97 is probably the same (rear disks?) the new pads are thick compared to the old ones so the first thing I do before removing the calipers is to expand the disks, place a flat blade screwdriver between the caliper and the old pad and pry them apart - as much as possible. the unbolt the two bolts to remover the whole unit. The new pads shold be fitted with antisqueal on the backs - if they are not far enought apart try putting the old pads between the new ones and prying between the old ones to enlarge the gap. i believe your going to have to change the whole hub assembly?

Yes, you have to change the entire hub assy.(they ain't cheap either, bout $318 for a set of premiums at NAPA) I have done this way too many times. you will most likely need a hub puller because the CV axle is splined and get stuck to the hub. you basically pull your tire, and brake caliper. there are three bolts on the back of the hub assy. that hold it in and one big nut on the end of the CV axle that you will need to undo as well (34 or 35 mm). Your wheel positioning sensors for your ABS system are connected to the hub assy. so be careful when you pull them out that you don't ruin the wires that stay with the car. usually only takes me an hour to do both sides

The wiper control module on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis can be found behind the instrument panel. It is close to the steering column, on the right side.

you need to get your front end aligned

The timing is electronic and is not adjustable.
