it is on the frame rail under the car trace the fuel line to the bottom of the car it will be there

On our 2001 model it is approx. under the driver's side rear passenger door on the frame rail.

GT2 is upgrades like dual exhaust, mag wheels, leather wrapped steering wheel, traction control, metallic paint ,etc

GTP has a supercharger that adds 60 hp , heads up display on windshield, stabil-track suspension , higher end traction control, leather seats ,etc

Check the color of what is in there now...Green, orange, or clear? For your year it most likely will be the green stuff. The important thing is to match your system with what came out of it, if you mix the wrong combination it will eat up your cooling system!

Yes. There is a small tube that connects the ear canal to the throat. This is not normal. If the air is coming out of your ears you have a hole in your eardrum. Take it from someone who has had a hole in one eardrum for 20 years!! And by the time you realize you have an ear infection it is a bad one because it can't build up pressure behind the eardrum. The infection just leaks out the hole.

pop the hood
looking at the lights you see a white tab on top
lift the tab and pull the headlight straight out

to replace the bulbs ..they are just a twist lock, twist to align then pull

lower bulbs like fog lights and signals ..remove headlight as above ..then reach down thru where the headlight was

Sme answer as other '01 GP Could be something simple like an obstruction under the gas pedal or a bound accelerator cable. Going more technical; dirty valve body, TPS, MAF, or even a serious vacuum leak on the intake. If the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) is on the problem may be recognized by the PCM (powertrain control module). A P0500 series code might suggest something wrong with the idle control circuit. A P0400 series code would tell you that there is somehting wrong with the emmision system, EGR or EVAP. P0100 series codes are returned if there is something wrong with induction or fuel metering, O2 sensor, TPS, MAP and temperatures. Last but not least the fuel pressure regulator could be bad. This may be dumping excess fuel into the induction system resulting in an increased idle. If there are no codes from the PCM, I would check the intake vacuum and the fuel pressure regulator. I recently changed the front pads on my 2000 GT, and if yours are like mine, you will find that both the inside and outside pads are exactly the same. The only real difference is where you put the retainer clips on the pads. put the early warning tab on the in side so you can hear it.

i just did this over the weekend. dont even bother with the drain cock which is located bottom of radiator tank driverside plastic plug breaks. i disconnected the lower radiator hose from radiator to drain antifreeze. do yourself a favor and buy new screw type hose clamps, factory hose clamps squeeze together are a pain to put back on. buy flush kit from prestone at auto supply store. connect flush tee to heater hose. connect garden hose to tee and flush old antifreeze until runs clear then disconnect radiator hose again to drain refill with 70/30 antifreeze since some clean water will be left in engine block..

you really need a door panel removal tool to do it properly. Remove the two screws located on under the interior pull handle. These screws uslay have a plastic plug on them to hide the screws. Slowly pull the panel away from the bottom of the door. These panels have plastic retaing clips holding them in. There is a tool that is made to remove these safley but you can remove them with out it by pulling the panel a little at a time working your way in a circle till the panel is off. After panel is romved check plastic clips for damage. Install the reverse from top to bottom pushing plastic retainers in slowly all the way around.

My guess, it's your transmission. First gear may be screwed. Try starting off in 2 then throw it in drive once your moving. You should get this taken care of, it will only get worse.

You can put the 2.0 litre boxer turbo in a 2.5rs or you can purchase a turbo kit w/ a front mount intercoller (FMIC), all necessary plumbing, you may also want to upgrade your fueling system; injectors, fuel pump, better spark plugs too. You'll also want to get your ecu flash tuned or Mapped. The benefit of the engine swap is that it's ready to bolt in. the benefit of the turbo kit for the 2.5 litre motor is that it's a higher displacement motor so you'll have more low end power when not building boost.

disconect negative battery post for approx. 2 mins or take to auto zone. free both ways.

It's on the passenger side of the car.Behind the glovebox,you will have to take the glovebox off the dash.then you will have to lay on the floor on your back,looking upward by the firewall you will see the blower motor.look behind the blower motor you will see a wire harness conected to the blower motor.Thats the resistor,after you un hook it from the blower motor you will have to take the blower motor out.It's held in by three screws,once you have taken the blower motor out,follow the wire harness that you've taken off the blower motor.you will then see the resistor with much effort its easy to get out,it's held in with two screws,you will only take one screw out to get the resistor out.

not really.new spark plugs should help to decrease hc emissions

hc emisions are caused by unburnt fuel which is usually caused by faulty spark plugs or faults in the ignition system which would cause the engine to misfire creating a rich mixture ie high hc (hydrocarbons)

Yes. Not as much but if it is plugged in it will still use some power.
