What do you mean by, "Will not go down"? Please explain the problem in other terms.

Not hard at all! First, adjust your rear brakes properly. Once this is done, locate the Emgcy Brake cable (y shaped cable running from front to both rear wheels) There is a turnbuckle on the cable, you simply hold the cable with a wrench and turn the turnbuckle to tighten it up.

Shoot for 4 or 5 clicks (about 30 percent) on the lever before it starts getting *tight*. If you adjust it too tight, it will wear your brakes prematurely and cause your gas mileage to drop-and possibly other bad things.

I'm not a mechanic, but I've done this before some years ago.

Hope this ain't it: About half the time, running the car out of gas causes the fuel pump (which is in the gas tank, and lubricated by fuel) to burn out. If you didn't fry the fuel pump, there's two other equally plausible problems. The first is that just before you ran out of gas you vacuumed all the crud off the floor of your gas tank and sent it to the engine (so you'll need a new fuel filter); the second is that you've got an air lock in the lines, which is keeping fuel from coming forward. The second is fixed by a mechanic with a machine that can suck fuel through the lines without burning the car down. In more recent car with fuel injection, running out of gas can't be fixed by filling the tank. You may have to check with your dealer, who will have to "reset" the fuel injection system for you.

Buy it at a salvage yard and it will cost about $10.00. Another few dollars for the gasket/seal, it's cheap. Check the torque specs and don't over tighten. It there are no junk yards in your area, just go on line. You can search across the country and have the part shipped.

On an 03 Accord if you pull the right wheel off, look straight ahead. To the right you'll see the oil filter, to the left is the switch.

My mom has a 2000 Forester that has a rattling sound at idle. Question regarding yours: Does your rattle sound metallic, almost as if sheet metal was banging against something? If so, it could be a loose exhaust hanger or heat shield. The reason this is my guess is based on the location of "coming from your feet". A lot of newer vehicles have various forms of heat shielding on the undercarriage, especially near exhaust systems. As for the situation on my mom's car, it's been that way for about 45,000 and is more of an "ignorable nuisance" if anything. I guess a better way to describe the noise would be to ask if it sounds "tinny".

it could be the gas line or even the ignition,, id take it to a good mechanic who is very firmiliar with Honda because it is a foreign car..

The fuel pump is located behind the passenger drivers side of car. There is a cover you have to remove about 6 10mil bolts. if you find the fuel filter you can follow the fuel line and it will lead you to it. It is not located in the tank. It takes less than an hour to replace. When replacing the pump don't forget to replace the fuel filter at the same time. there are two the one by the tank and the one under the hood going into the carb.

Short (A) and (B) terminal with a jumper wire at computer hookup under steering wheel then turn key on check engine light will flash certain number of times for the appropriate code when your done shut off key and remove wire

Possible problem with the park lock out? Check all the fuses first. If all good, check the switch on the brake pedal. Also check the transmission fluid level, it may need to be changed as well, but sometimes it's as simple as lubricating the mechanism directly attached to the automatic stick shifter inside the car.

there should be a row of buttons by the gearbox one of which has the tyre pressure symobol on, turn the key so that all symbols are lit but engine not yet started. press and hold the tyre button by gearbox, it should go amber and then eventually turn off

Standing in front of car.. It is to the right of the battery under all the hoses its hard to see and is down there a-ways.

I'm not sure exactly but follw the top hose(I believe) out of your radiator and you should come across the thermostat housing. I'm not certain on an accord but on my car the housing looked somewhat like a turtle shell, take that off and there you are.

Honda uses an electric in tank pump. they really don't show signs of "going bad" unlike most parts they just die. you can kinda listen for it open the gas cap have a buddy turn the key from compleatly off to the point right before it starts with out starting it do this a few times and listen by the nozzle for a buzzing or humming sound... if no sound and the car won't start possible bad pump

I can tell you how to check this problem if you have either a carburetor or throttle body injection system. When the fuel pump goes out, no fuel is being pumped through the fuel system. An easy way to find out is to get some starter fluid. I'm pretty sure that's what it is called. It comes in a spray can. Call an automotive store to make sure you've got the right stuff.

Anyway, have someone else try to start your car. While they are trying to start it, spray the starter fluid into the carburetor or throttle body. If your car starts when you do this, it's definitely the fuel pump. The car will not continue to run, it will die again because of the lack of gas.

engine light flashing means there is a code set in the vehicles computer. some lights will flash in certain sequences to tell you what is wrong. another way to tell whats wrong i to take your vehicle to the shop have the diagnostic machine plugged in and it will tell you what the light means.

you line the one notch ont jhe belt with the notch on the main timing gear and that all that's to it.

Rule of thumb, if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it ain't coming out, replace the windshield.

This sign on your dashboard means that you should have it checked out by a car mechanic. You can also look in the owners manual and see what tit means.

Probably because you need to add oil or the oil pump is not working properly. Unfortunately these "idiot lights" usually only illuminate when the problem becomes quite serious and engine damage is either imminent or has already occurred.

Proper maintenance of a vehicles engine can prevent things like this from happening. Every automobile owner should check all engine fluids at least once a week. Be kind to your engine and it will give you years of faithful service.
