Not a simple answer, I'm afraid. 3g doesn't specify a data rate but the maximum possible is 14.4 Mbps. The current version of wi-fi (802.11g) at 54 Mbps is faster than 3g. You need a c-clamp (large enough to fit around the caliper) and block of wood (or a used brake pad). I always use the old brake pad. You will use these items to push the piston back into the caliper. Leave off the new brake pads at this point. Place the old brake pad (or wood) against the piston. Take the c-clamp and put one side (worm gear side) against the brake pad. The other end of the c-clamp goes against the caliper. Turn the c-clamp handle CW so that you are pushing the piston in until it bottoms out. Easier than it sounds. Once done, you can put the new pads in. You should now have more than enough room. They also have a tool at the parts store that will allow you to push the piston back in.

The GM factory manual states that you should compress the piston with an ordinary c-clamp. This is completely and totally incorrect on my 99 Aurora (and my 93 Saturn & 96 Taurus...). The rear caliper piston screws back in - very similar to older Subaru models (haven't owned one in a while). The piston face should have two triangular grooves that allow you to turn it. These grooves must align with the nub on the new inboard pad. Most parts stores will sell a universal kit that allows you to turn the piston back in using a wrench.

I have been trying to figure out a response to this query since a while. The only plausible solution i found to date is the FM transmitter. For want of knowledge, I was told that this is no compromise on quality but in my opinion it is. I am looking for a way to connect the ipod directly to the symphony stock system if possible, for that should be able to provide clarity as desired. Additionally, it might be safe to say that there might be a way to find an input via the input for the CD changer but still to come across someone who can do it in Mumbai or Pune, not that I have spoken to too many sound enthusiasts. let me know if your quest takes you somewhere.

My 95 Nissan 200SX has this same problem and I'm sure it has something to do with a gap in the electrical or faulty wiring. All I have to do is bang really hard on the dash a couple of times and it comes back on. Good luck. :)

Wow. This certainly appears to be a common problem. I have had this since buying the car new. On mine it is the dial you use to adjust the brightness of the dash. The thing has never worked right but I have always been able to get it back on by fidgeting with the dial.

when you say broken slide, are you talking about the one little plastic slide that in installed in the sunroof cassete , or the slides installed on the sunshade it self, it its the shade your talking about, remove the sunroof glass with the 6 t25 torx bolts holding it in, 3 on each side, remove the glass, now slide the sunshade forwared and from the top inspect the sunshade, if it is faulty, or any guides on the shade it self are bad, then remove the t10 torx screws holding the sunshade in and replace them, however if its the small plastic peace that actually move the sunshade when opening and closing the sunroof, then you will need to replace that also, that is complicated and should be taken to a dealer. hope this helps.

on mine i had a premium sound system package stock. i had to bypass the stock amp to run the head unit even though i am running it on the pre amp from the head unit. the speaker will notwork unless you bypass the the stock amp.
