Do you get six pack from jumping rope?
Not directly. A six-pack is the result of fatty tissue being thin enough so as to make the abdominal muscles visible. You do not need to have large abdominal muscles in order to have a six-pack.
Jumping rope is a great cardiovascular exercise, and will help you to burn fat. If you burn enough fat, you will be able to see your abs. If you couple this with abdominal muscle-building exercises, your six-pack will become more apparent with less need for fat loss.

Why are blast furnaces lined with fire bricks?
They are lined with fire bricks because of the intense heat and chemical reactions that are present in the blast furnace. The temperature alone would quickly melt the outer metal shell. Different types of bricks are used in the different parts of the furnace depending on the temperature in that part of the furnace, the lowest temperatures being at the top, and the highest temperatures in the bottom in what is known as the bosh and the hearth. Abrasion and mechanical damage can also occur to the bricks, which is why blast funaces need to be shut down after a certain number of years to be relined, or shut down briefly for maintenance which would include adding more cooling in areas where the brick lining is getting too thin.

Full form :-
Very high-speed integrated circuit hardware description language
INTRODUCTION:
VHDL stands for very high-speed integrated circuit hardware description language. Which is one of the programming language used to model a digital system by dataflow, behavioral and structural style of modeling. This language was first introduced in 1981 for the department of Defense (DoD) under the VHSIC programe. In 1983 IBM, Texas instruments and Intermetrics started to develop this language. In 1985 VHDL 7.2 version was released. In 1987 IEEE standardized the language.

What is a geared limit switch?
The simplest form of control of an electric motor is a switch. In most applications a motor may be allowed to run continuously for lengthy periods, for example, in a fan. However, if a motor is being used to power a crane or to lift a large door it must be made to shut off when the object it is moving reaches a limiting point, whether or not a human operator notices that the limit has been reached. Shutting off an electric motor under this type of condition is the function of a limit switch.
In many cases the object being moved makes more or less direct contact with the switch or it does so via some form of lever. However, there are cases where the object might be moving either too fast or too slow to properly operate a switch. In these cases a geared limit switch will be used. The gears in the switch transform the movement of the object being moved to match the needs of the switch. I have mentioned speed of movement. There are other possibilities too. It might be necessary to convert rotational movement to up-and-down movement to control the switch, or various other kinds of movement. Clearly the exact nature of the gears inside the limit switch will vary depending on the transformation required.

What is meant by pitch measurement in lathe?
Pitch measurement refers to the distance from one thread to the next when threads are cut on a lathe. Different threads have different pitches and a lathe can be set to to cut to any specified pitch.
This is achieved by selecting the pitch and engaging the lead screw on levers located on the headstock, then engaging the half-nut around the lead screw from the apron. With the correct threading tool inserted threads can be cut into the workpiece.
