Why would a Mazda 626 stop running while you were driving and then not start again?
My 1994 626 stalled as I was driving when the distributor/ignition module went out. This causes no spark to the engine and it won't start. Pull out one of the spark plugs, hold the tip against the metal valve cover, and have someone else crank the motor. If you don't see small sparks, it may be the distributor assembly. Autozone offers the best deal with the distributor assembly as it comes with a lifetime warranty. Costs about $170 if you reuse your cap and rotor. Somewhere I read that Ford will sell just the ignition module and coil separately, but it was easier for me to just buy the whole thing. The module and coil are two small black boxes on the distributor.
There are a number of other reasons for a motor to stop running. This is a common one for 93-2000 Probes/mx6/626. .
My car stopped running while driving because the timing belt broke.

I would like to add that we just need more information to help you properly as there are a lot of items that could potentially be the cause of your problem. Check for fuel with a cheap fuel pressure gauge at the fuel rail if you are getting decent pressure it shouldn't be that if low or no pressure (fuel pump), next check for spark, if your not getting spark (Crank sensor or ignition module/ distributor), the last item to check is compression if your compression is really low or none I would guess timing belt. Symptoms of broken timing belt engine turns over weaker than normal, no compression, etc) pull the cover off the timing belt to check if it is still in one piece.
How do you get the abs warning light off your Mazda mx3?
BRIDGE THE TERMINALS GND AND TBS IN THE DIAGNOSTIC SOCKET. SWITCH THE IGNITION ON. THIS WILL CAUSE THE ABS LIGHT TO FLASH. (BY COUNTING THE FLASHES WILL EXPLAIN THE FAULT STORED IN THE ECU. EXPLAINED BELOW.) DEPRESS AND RELEASE THE BRAKE PEDAL 10 TIMES IN 10 SECONDS. REMOVE THE BRIDGE WIRE. THIS WILL TURN OFF THE ABS LIGHT AS LONG AS THE FAULT HAS BEEN CURED. A LOT OF THE TIME IT CAN BE A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM. Why would a Mazda RX-8 not start after sitting idle in the cold weather for a few days?
Try put turps inside the radiator it cleans all the stuff that's suck inside and that should help.
Honda Man's answerRotary engines are much different than piston style engines, it is a common problem for these cars to have hard starting issues. There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) put out by Mazda with tips.I have a 89 Mazda 626 with a similar problem. Sometimes when I go to start it it won't start. (It does not click like yours does.) All I do is put the car in neutral and turn the key. It starts right up. Maybe this could help you.
How do you change a tail light bulb on a 2006 Mazda 5?
Open up the rear hatch. On the very innermost edge of the taillight assembly that was under the closed hatch you will notice that there are two black, oval shaped covers approximately 1.25" high by .75" wide or 32mm by 20mm. Remove these small covers with a small flat screwdriver or other pointed implement and a screw will be found underneath each one. Remove both screws with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. With screws removed pull the entire plastic tail light housing straight outward towards the rear of the vehicle to release the outer retaining clips. The bulb sockets are removed by rotating counterclockwise 45 degrees and pulling out of the tail light housing.
The reverse light bulb is single element, clear in color and rated at 18 Watts. Common Cross-Reference #921
The turn signal bulb is single element, amber in color and rated at 21 Watts. Common Cross-Reference #7440NA.
The stop/tail light bulb is a dual element bulb, clear in color, rated at 21/5 Watts . Common Cross-Reference # 7443.
Everything that you have will work. The Mazda is the same as the Ford, all the parts are the same.
Where is the oxygen sensor on a 1992 Mazda van 6 cylinder?
Underneath the car. On top of the exhaust pipe. About 6 or 7 inches down from the exhaust manifold. You have to jack it up and crawl under it. Put penatrating oil on it and use a box wrench. This is before the cataytic convertor.
There is also a 2nd one after the convertor.

Where is the EGR valve located on a 1998 Mazda Protege?
Frankly I don't know about your 98, but unfortunately I've been forced to learn about my 2001 2.0 ES GT Protege. I would have to assume... that your engine is basicly similar. For a quick glance look under the air breather hose that leading to the throttle body also attached is your gas pedal linkage. You will also see several metal lines coming from your exhaust manifold area over to the ERG valve area which is immediately below the throttle body mounted on the drivers side of the engine toward the fire wall. In my case I have owned the car since new in Jan 2001 and Ive put 177,000 kms to date. My only complaint about the car is the dammmmm ERG valve giving me idling problems and needs cleaning or replacing every 30,000 kms.
Good luck with yours and
Gary

It means barometric pressure out of range.
Could be caused by:

How do you replace the fuel filter located on a 1995 Mazda b2300?
The Mazda truck was sold to ford. It is under the driver side door and mounted to the inside frame. It has two clamps to hold the gas line, and maybe a bolt or two depending on the model. If you choose to replace this use caution! the gasoline will probably flow out!
Actually, My '96 B2300 was MADE by Ford for Mazda.
One thing you should do is to take out the fuse for the fuel pump, and then run the engine until the line is empty. This will rid all pressure in the line, which is needed on fuel injection systems. The fuel will drain out, but will not spray all over you. My truck has an inline fuel filter that must be removed with line wrenches, so be sure to find which type is on your vehicle before purchasing a replacement. After replacement is done on a fuel injection vehicle, you may need to purge the air from the line. This is accomplished by pressing and holding the relief valve on the injector rail. It looks like a tire stem valve, and the valve is opened the same way as letting air from your tire. Get an assistant to crank the engine while you hold the valve open. Wear gloves while doing this procedure, and when fuel comes out of the valve (you may want a fuel-resistant container to catch it), stop holding the valve open. The engine should then start, and flush any remaining air on its own.
Note: You may need to reset your "check engine" light after this, but many parts places like Advance Auto do this for free.
Good luck.
Begin by checking the transmission fluid level and adding if low or replacing if it is dark or smells burnt. Be sure to use a fluid approved for your transmission.

Parking light fuse keeps blowing 1996 Mazda b2300?
You need to pull the tail light covers off both sides and check the sockets for corrosion. If the area around the bulbs are black or melted u need to replace the sockets because they are grounding out(getting to hot and shorting the electrical system).Check the sockets and either clean or replace based on condition. To clean use electrical cleaner sold at most auto stores specifically for electrial components. Also use some white lithium grease around the bulb ends before installing to prevent corrosion and moisture build up over time. === === Fuses and Circuit Breakers are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] from short circuits and overload conditions which can cause extreme overheating which can result in damage to the conductors, and worse, the possibility of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle. When a fuse, and its replacements, repeatedly blow, is an indicator of an UNSAFE CONDITION[short or overload] in that circuit. To install a larger fuse would invite damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire. The proper "fix" is for a qualified technician, who knows what he/she's doing, to * troubleshoot the circuit, * find and identify the defect, and * make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with a properly sized fuse for the circuit].
