Where are the fuses for shoulder belts on a 1993 Saturn?

they are behind the panel on the passenger side of the console on the back of the panel it shows the # 5 and says Igni..... when the fuse blows it affects the seat belts the speedometer and odometer and the tac at least on mine it does and I am trying to gind out why mine blows fuses all the time Those seatbelts are also called passive restraints and some of the saturns have their own fuse for those. They will blow fuses if starting to seize up. They need to be lubed as part of an ongoing maintenance with something like wd40. The fuse for the seatbelt motors is located on the interior fuse panel on the fuse marked PREST. That fuse protects nothing else on the car. And no other fuse but that one is for the automatic belts. All 1991-1994's are this way. 1995+ went to fixed seatbelts.

Follow the upper radiator hose down to the engine. It is attachedto the thermostat housing . Therewill be two bolts attaching the housing to the engine. Remove thesebolts, and with a little effort (prying),the housing will come off. Therewill probably be brackets, wires,or other items which will have Tobe removed in order to get to the bolts.Installation is just the reverse, and be careful you don't get the bolts tootight.

How you fix them would depend entirely on what's wrong with them. You'd have to diagnose the problem first, bulbs burned out, blown fuse, bad switch, broken wires, etc.

Where is the transmission Modulator Valve located on a 1995 Mercury Villager?

The 4F20E transaxle is totally controlled by the PCM and has no modulator valve. Quote from Haynes Repair Manual. "If the transaxle requires major repair work, it should be left to a dealer service department or a transmission repair shop. You can, however, remove and install the transaxle yourself and save the expense, even if the repair work is done by a transmission shop(but be sure a proper diagnosis has been made before removing the transaxle). How do you install blower motor in 1998 mercury villager?

Get a repair manual and follow directions. It is relatively simple. I am a 50 + year old grandmother. I was tired of waiting on someone to do it for me. I do not spend money unnecessarily, so I did it myself. Automotive parts store employees are generally pretty helpful when you ask questions. Nothing burns me more that to talk to one that knows less than I do but still is trying to BS you just to sell something or worse yet one that thinks just because you are a female you are incapable of accomplishing a mechanical job. I actually replaced it twice because the first one I bought was defective. What do they say?...OH, It's so simple a caveman can do it".

Where is located oxygen sensor 1998 Mercury Villager?

When you start looking at the O2 sensors, they are normally numbered something like "Bank 1 Sensor 1" Bank 1 is on the passenger side; Bank 2 is on the driver's side. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (near the frame, between the block and the cat) and Sensor 2 is near the Y-pipe (downstream of the cat).

Normally it is the upstream sensors (sensor 1) that go first. They see the harshest conditions. You will need; Oxygen Sensor Socket Anti-Seized Penetrating Oil Sometimes it will take 15 minutes or take a few hours it depends on your luck…

Why won't my key won't turn in the ignition I have a 1997 Mercury Villager.?

Two ideas come to mind. The first is to "jiggle" the steering wheel to the left and right and then try and turn the key. This is common in many cars and you have to do this to be able to retrieve the key out of the ignition. The second is the keyless entry fob. On my '97 Villager, after chaging the battery, the key won't turn until you disable the alarm system by using the remote keyless entry. I don't use the keyless for everyday driving as the hole to keep it on the keyring broke years ago, but I keep it in the glovebox in case the battery dies for some reason.

How do you reprogram keyless remote for 1999 mercury villager?

1996 - 1998 (and 1995?)

All transmitters that are to be used with your van must be programmed at the same time. Once you enter the programming procedure you must program all the transmitters during the programming session. Only those programmed during the last session will work with the vehicle. You can use this procedure to also eliminate a transmitter by not programming the vehicle to accept the transmitter when entering the programming session. Just remember to have all the transmitters you want to use with the vehicle handy when you start the programming session.

The procedure: # Enter the vehicle and lock all the doors with the power lock switch. # Insert and remove the key from the ignition six times within 10 seconds. The instrument lights will flash twice. # Turn the ignition key to the ACC position. # Press the "Lock" button on the transmitter once. # For additional transmitters, unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch. # Press the "Lock" button on the additional transmitter. The instrument lights will flash twice, indicating that the transmitter has been accepted. # Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any additional transmitters. There is a limit of four transmitters.

The procedure: # Get in the vehicle and lock all the doors. # Slowly insert the key into the ignition and then remove the key. do this at least 6 times in 10 seconds (I believe the slow part is on the first time putting the key in because there is no way to do that 6 times in 10 seconds). The tail lamps will flash to indicate the original code was erased. # Turn the ignition to the ACC position. # Press any button on the first remote. (hazard lamps will flash to confirm programming) # To enter additional transmitters, unlock and then lock the doors using the power door lock button on the drivers door. Press any button on the 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters possible). Hazard lamps will flash to confirm programming. # Open the drivers door and then turn the ignition off.

Is the 2004 Chrysler 2.4L engine an interference or non-interference engine?

No, the "Powertech" 2.4L Chrysler engines have valve relief notches in the head, so a failed timing belt shouldn't result in piston or valve damage.

I have seen intake valves hit exhaust valves when the belt breaks.

Can you remove knock sensor?

The knock sensor is in the engine V under the intake manifolds and coolant crossover pipe. As it requires considerable disassembly and an expensive new gasket set to reach it, I suggest you make very sure there is something wrong with it first. You will have to remove the upper and lower intake manifolds and coolant crossover pipe assembly to reach it. Just because you are receiving a trouble code for it does not mean there is anything wrong with it. This sensor shares a circuit with other components that often will set a "ghost" trouble code.
