You can setup an intercooler on a non turbo car and have it connected to the air intake and such...

.....it will rob you of horsepower by sending air through a lot of unnecessary tubes.

It depends entirely on the year and options and where you have it imported from. It might be cheaper to get one from Japan than US, or some other country nearby that they are marketed in.

you open the transmission case it's in front and it have black color and it's gonna be in front of you don't forget to take look at the old one so you can put the new one easily

Look in your owners manual index for the word "fuse" and turn to that page. It should give you a breakdown on the fuses and what they control. Just find the one that says conv top and see if its blown.

Yes all DSM's (Talons, Eclipses and Lasers) have the same bolt wheel pattern (5x114.3 or 5x4.5)

The drain tube is on the driver side underneath the car it's really hard to find. if you jack the car up and look just past the headers to your left you'll see a little black tube about a 1/4 of an inch to 1/2 an inch long. hope this helps

You will need wiring diagrams for the ignition the probably the fuse box. Where to put the box it's up to you. I putted it behind power stirring panel. And you should disconnect the battery when you are working with car electronic system to avoid short currents and misfunction of SRS system.

it depends if you have the 1.8or the 2.0. The 1.8 is only 90 something HP and wont get you going all that fast. but the 2.0 is like 135 HP and is pretty quick. so more info please

5w30 if you have over 10000 km. and no leaks you can choose to run a semi or full synthetic oil. its more users preference. 10w30 oil is dead they don't make cars that use it any more its all 5w30 and 5w20 . synthetic oil is for more hard working engines like highways and towing and its better for the car . a 96 eclipse will run perfect on 5w30 conventional oil under normal conditions . semi or full synthetic oil will leak more if you have leaks . and is better in the winter. there is word that switching back and forth isn't good because synthetic oil bonds to the engine but i don't know if that is fact or fiction

no there is a little door under the back seat to access the fuel pump and filter

I had a problem with my 98 cranking but without spark. I traced and tested all of the sensors and harnesses until I realized the obvious. The ignition system will not operate unless it sees a minimum of 8 volts while cranking. I hooked up a simple voltmeter and tesed during cranking and had a reading of only 7.65. I confirmed the problem by cleaning the terminals and used a jumperbox. The voltage read an average of 8.75 and it started. I replaced the battery and problem solved.
