Cylinder #1 is the drivers side front cylinder on the engine. Drivers side is 1-3-5-7 passanger side is 2-4-6-8.

It means it's time to get a used instrument cluster (digital speedometer). The only way I could troubleshoot the problem was to buy the service manual on ebay--$15. I had to go twice until I got a good one, but it was worth the $50.

if the high mounted brake light is in rear window. open trunk and access the light from below rear window shelf. if the light is in the spoiler, remove the screws holding it in. disconnect elec, connector from inside of trunk lid. the assembly has no replaceable bulbs, and has to be replaced as a unit..

I hate to answer a question with a question, but it would help to know which ones are on. The oil change warning is done by putting the igniton switch to the run/acc position. Run/acc position is just before the start position. Then push the gas pedal down and up 5 times methodically within 7 seconds. The oil change light should then flash 3 times and reset. If there are multiple lights on I would take it to Autozone and have the DTC codes read and cleared. If the DTC codes cannot be read or reset, you might be looking at an engine control module. Most warning lamps have Vbatt or ground in common and the engine control module will put the opposite polarity to the other side of the lamp. It would be hard for me to see multiple lamps on due to a short or open. My low coolant lamp has been a nuesance ever since I bought my 1999 Monte Carlo. Temperature guage is normal and the coolant level is good, but idiot lamp comes and goes.

it means that one of the abs sensors is not responding. all regular brakes work fine, you may or may not still have abs.

The PCV valve on a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue is located under the MAP sensor. If you remove the large plastic cover with 3800 written on it and look to the left side of the engine there is a sensor marked (Pressure Sensor) with 3 wires going into it. Unplug that sensor and turn it counter clockwise and lift it off and you will see the PCV valve under it. There is no brake light relay. There is however a brake light switch located above the brake pedal.

Most gm back seats are the same. Push back on the bottom section & pull up from back of the bottom part. This should let the bottom part come off. Then the back part should be bolted at the bottom. Take the bolts out, and push up.

disconnect the battery, then the wires from the starter. Then remove the bolts holding the starter to the engine.

Was built for R12, should be converted to R134a

I have a 2000 Olds Silohuette. I just reset the "Change Oil" light by turning the ignition to on(DO NOT START THE VEHICLE), pushing the accelerator down to the floor 6 times, turning the ignition off, and then starting the van. The light did not come on. Hopefully this will help.

If you know the code number from the computer you google that number and will find your answer. My 3.5 liter then sensor was located behind the starter.

A 73 454 had 265 horse so I'm sure a 75 had less than that.

Put trans. fluid in through the dipstick hole, be careful not to overfill

Remove the vacuum hose from your 1989 Oldsmobile 3.8 liter engine PCV valve. Remove the retaining bolts from the valve. Reverse the process to install the new PCV valve.
