How do you change a radio on a 1994 Paseo for a 2004 CD Player?
It's actually fairly simple on this vehicle. The trim plate around the radio simply snaps off. Remove the plug on the back of the defroster button. There are four bolts holding the metal basket in place that contains the radio. (That's the only word I could come up with...) Once you remove the basket, the radio is held in by four screws. You will need a new wiring harness, but you can buy that at wal-mart. You do not need any kind of mounting bracket, though. The original basket is perfect size for DIN size radio. As far as wiring the radio and the harness adapter together, the colors usually match up, but refer to the documentation with the harness and with the stereo. It's not rocket science. 8 wires in that harness cluster are for the four speakers, and the rest are Power, Ground, dimmer, remote turn on, and power antenna. That's probably about it. I would crimp those little fittings on there to connect them to the harness, or you could use wire nuts, or simply electrical tape, but whatever you use, just make sure you do it well so you don't have to do it over again later. Hope this helps.

In my case it was the ignition switch. They overheat and carbonize the connectors so that eventually the switch "burns" out and can even lock up and never works again, as it did in my case I don't have an answer for this problem, but I am experiencing this very same problem to the letter. I will add some troubleshooting steps which have not helped, so that noone makes the same mistakeS: * Replaced four relays under the hood ($41) * Replaced starter relay ($54) * Replaced turn signal module ($2) * Replace emergency flasher module ($6) Other troubleshooting discoveries: * Power coming from the engine side the wiring seems to be alright * For every item listed in the original question above, the fuse box was dead (no power) when probed with a test light and the ignition was on. The ACC fuse contact was also dead. * All of the other fuse sockets of the unaffected systems were hot (had power going to them) NOTE: A portion of the fuse box seems to not have power, due to either a bad hot lead, or a bad ground. Which ever is the case, it appears that section of the fuse box is on a totally different electrical circuit from the working side of the fuse box. My next step is to find a good wiring diagram, pull the fuse box, and start tracing bad connections, burnt wires, and anything else I can find. If this helps anyone to track down the problem...PLEASE...Share! Thanks. :o) Have your battery tested - it is most likely a battery-related problem even though it has enough charge to start. I had the same problem; replaced the battery and all is well. Have you checked the fusable links?? - Look where your posative cable goes to. The first stop is a junction block that has many smaller wires coming from it. Each of these wires are for your sub-system voltage feeds. They protect the circuits at the point where they connect to the junction block, it act the same as a fuse, but it is designed to handle much higher currents than a fuse. You can buy the appropriate load fusable link to replace the one that has gone bad, just splice it back into the harness and all will be well again.

International radio signal of distress?
The spoken word "Mayday". There is a specific format for a distress message. The mnemonic is M.I.P.D.A.N.I.O and it goes like this:
M - Mayday (repeated thrice)
I - Identification (name and number of craft)
P - Position (latitude and longitude and/or geographic location)
D - Distress (nature of distress e.g. sinking, fire, etc)
A - Assistance required
N- Number of persons onboard
I- Information (other pertinent information)
O- Over

What happend to your dome light and radio it stopped working in your 94 mustang?
Blown fuse. Your brake lights don't work either.
Is mixing the same as amplitude modulation?
No, mixing is adding two signals together, modulation is more like multiplying two signals. IN mixing, the result has the same frequencies as the input signals. In modulation, the result is the sum and difference frequencies.
What is the wavelength of and AM radio wave in a vacuum if its freqency is 810 kilhertz?
Wavelength = speed/frequency = 299,792,458/810,000 = 370.114 meters.
It makes no difference whether it's AM, FM, TV, 256QAM, modulated, or CW.
How can you get your CD out of your radio 2004 Chevy Trailblazer?
I had the same problem with my 2004 TB EXT LS V-8. The type of radio I have also included the cassette feature. My CD got stuck found out the cam that pushes the CD out broke. Was cheaper to simply replace it with a used radio.
Note: Because the radio is tied into your factory security system, You will need to have the replacement radio re-coded by a Chevy dealer or it will not work.
Where is the fuse box on a 89 beretta and which fuse goes to what?
The fuse box is located on the driver's side dash between the door and the dash. As for what fuse goes where there should be a cover explaining this. If not go to the junk yard I am almost sure you can find one there.
Why is it good to analyze media?
The best reason for analyzing media is that it will help you to become "media literate"-- able to think about what is being presented to you, rather than just believing whatever some famous talk show host, athlete, or celebrity said. Among the questions a media literate person might ask are these: why do the mainstream media choose to cover certain stories (and issues) but ignore others? Why do they focus on certain people but not pay much attention to others? Do the media accurately report the news or do they have certain biases? Do advertisers have any influence on what the media report (or fail to report)?
A media literate person also asks about "framing": what was included in the story, and what was intentionally left out? The more you know about the media, the more you will be able to use and enjoy it responsibly, and not be fooled or manipulated. To help you with media analysis, I enclose a link to a famous set of question you should be asking yourself when you watch, read or listen to news, as well as when you encounter commercials, celebrity testimonials, and claims made by politicians.

Radio works but car doesn't start?
If you're lucky, only dirty or corroded battery-terminals.
If you're less lucky, other possibilities are:
-- starter solenoid failed
-- starter motor failed
-- battery failed
-- alternator failed.
Any of those 5 possibilities would permit the radio to work but prevent starting.
(And there are several others too.)
Code to unlock radio for Chevy Blazer?
This code needs to be requested from GM by a GM technician. They will call GM with your vehicle identification number(VIN) and get the code. Then they will use their computer scan tool to enter the code and "unlock" your radio. In the future, you risk "locking" your radio anytime that you unhook the radio from the vehicle or unhook the battery (such as replacing the battery). Most parts stores sell a memory saver for under $10. This is a unit that has a plug on one end to plug into your cigarette lighter socket, and a 9volt battery on the other end. It provides enough power to keep your radio "safe" and keep the car's computer memory "alive". Good investment, even if you only need to use it once or twice.
An alternative:
1. Turn the ignition ON (The radio should display "LOC")
2. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds
3. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. You now have fifteen seconds to complete the next step.
4. Press the AM/FM button
5. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one.
6. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are form STEP 05
7. Call 1-800-537-5140
8. Press 1 then # (pound). You'll hear "Invalid Code, try again"
9. Press 139010 or 106010 or 206010 or 202107 then # (pound). You will be asked to enter your four or six digit code followed by *
10. Enter the number from STEP 6 then *
11. Listen to the four-digit number and write it down. It will be repeated twice
12. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
13. Use the MN and HR buttons to enter the code from STEP 11
14. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to "SEC". Your radio is now "un-locked" and usable.
Dealership Codes
Troubleshooting
If you fail to enter the correct code eight times, the radio goes into INOP mode. You have to wait an hour with the ignition on before the radio returns to LOC mode.
What frequencies falls in the range of RF waves used by commercial controlled by the?
No frequencies in that range appear on the list you provided with the question.
Can you buy a radio that works on first responder frequencies?
You can buy a receiver to listen to them with, but you can't transmit to them.
The receiver you want is one that's advertised as a "scanner". And then, you
have to program it to the frequencies used by the first responders in your area.
I can't help you there.
Some things to be aware of:
-- When first responders are communicating with their dispatcher or with each other,
they usually do not transmit and receive on the same frequency. So, unless you're
really handy with your scanner, you'll only hear one side of the conversation.
-- If the first responders in your area have replaced their old radio system with
a digital system ... and more and more of them are going that way ... then you
might as well forget about it. Your scanner will not help you make out anything
that's being transmitted digitally. It'll only sound like buzzy noise.
What color wire is the remote wire when using an amp with a factory radio in a 2004 ford f150?
instead of hooking up your amps remote wire to your CD player, i would run the wire to your fuse box and wrap the striped wire around a fuse for something like the windshield wipers or acc or something that turns on when you want your amp on. and then put the fuse back in and then it's the same as plugging it into your CD player, except not as much work
