Try disconnecting battery for a minute or so and then try to start your car.

I had the same problem on my 1999 1.9 dti.

Or some of the older lagunas had little black thing beside sunroof, try to lock and unlock the car with remote and try to star your car then. Had this problem wiht 1995 1.8 laguna...

If it started previouslt then something disconnected (sensor etc) or timing is wrong

You would need to study a wiring diagram to determine the supply for a certain relay. There are probably multiple relays in that vehicle. Knowing which one in question would help.

Error code 70 on a Renault van means there is a problem with the fuel filter. Once you change or clean it, the code will go away.

The TDC Sensor is probably dirty, remove it and give the tip a clean, also the connecter.

Ensure the battery is charged. Unlock car on the key fob. Turn key in ignition to position 3 (ignition fully on but not at start) for 30s to 1 min. Return to fully off for 30s. Back to position 3 for 30s, to off for 30s. Then turn key straight to start position, engine should now catch on the started. This should reset the imobiliser. Needed after the car is jumped from another car if the battery has run flat because its french and so is afraid of work. Hope it works for you Matt

i can honestly say that the Renault megane is by far the worst car I've had the displeasure of driving!!! i could not give you one single good point, i for one will never purchase a Renault again!

If you mean the drainage hose for the sunroof then it's quite easy.

They are normally clogged with silt I have a megane scenic the hose comes out behind the splash guards for the front wheels. The guard is secured with 3 screws to the rear you don't need to completely remove it just pull it far enough back to work.

If you're not sure where your pipes come out pour a little water carefully into the drainage channel on the side that isn't blocked then look under the car to see where it comes out/drips down and trace it back until you find the end of your drainage tube.

So to clear it out you need something flexible and strong enough to push the silt out but thin enough to fit down the tube without damaging it!

I used an old wire securing spring from an Ironing board cover. You could use a length of net curtain "rod" (the old fashioned type- flexible spring covered in plastic) or you could try a drain clearing rod from your local pound store/diy store. Whatever you use it needs to be long enough to go through the full lenght of the tube(obviously) about 2meters should do it.

So carefully feed the spring down the pipe through the top of the open sunroof, don't scratch the paint.

If it gets stuck pull back gently then try to continue. If it doesn't want to go try turning the spring as you feed it in or pouring a little hot water down the pipe.

When you think you are all the way through look under the car and check it's all the way through and either pull your spring all the way through or back out the top.

Lastly pour a little hot water down to flush it out.

it is not the hazard system, but comes from the speedo cable which is routed behind the dashboard thus making it sound like the flasher unit.

Under passenger side dashboard - two thumb turns hold the cover up.
