What causes a front end noise at approximately 25 mph on a 2004 Toyota Sequoia when the front hub bearings and tires have been replaced?

Probably the front hub bearings. I've replaced mine four times. Sounds great after they're replaced, but eventually the hub bearings start whining again. I'm not sure what the root of the problem is, but I'm beginning to suspect it's a design defect.

Your Toyota Sequoia 2003 has a trac off light on and a VSC trac light on and an engine check light on how do i turn them off or reset them or who can reset them?

I think it has to do with a loose/defective radiator cap. Also, I think only the dealership can turn that light off ... unless someone out there knows how to reset it. My radiator cap had a bad gasket. The engine overheated and the cap blew. In two days (when I finally make it back to civilization) I will know more.

It is very unlikely to be a loose/defective radiator cap. VSC / TRAC issues are most likely to be related to a brake sensor on one or more of the wheels. On my 2003 Sequoia, I can cause this condition at will, simply by braking so hard that I trigger the anti-lock brakes. Because I have a bad wheel sensor on one of the wheels, that will cause the TRAC to trip off, and turns on the VSC Trac Light and the Check Engine light. I can disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes, and it will go away, never to return until the next time I brake extra hard and the anti-locks go on again. I know I could have the wheel sensor replaced, but I just never seem to get the time. Or money.

How do you change oil on a Toyota Sequoia 5.7 2008?

I think you may want to read the following before you try to drain the oil on your 2008 Sequoia if you have a 5.7L engine: I've answered this question several times: I own a 2008 Tundra 5.7L and I believe it's the same drive train for both vehicles.

-----------------------------Heres my answer to the question---------------Where do you get the oil filter wrench for the 5.7 L Toyota Tundra?----------------------

I had a conversation with the parts man at my Toyota dealer today I asked the same question. I also own a 2008 5.7 Tundra.

First of all, if you found the oil filter you know how hard it is to get to. (Drop the skid plate.) Then you discovered that there was no ordinary oil filter like you've ever seen before. And finally you got to the paper filter after removing the oil cover plate. (Yea! I'm not kidding.)

Well the parts man told me that you can't just purchase the tool to remove the filter it's a special tool that you can only get through MAC tools. You know the guys that drive the big white tool trucks, and it's expensive. NO ONE ELSE SELLS THE TOOL! NO ONE!

So I've decided to let Toyota do the oil changes. $80 and they rotate the tires too.

I'll bet you can't find the transmission dip stick either. Because there is NONE. Something else new to confuse you. They told me that the 5.7 tranny is designed to go 100,000 miles before an oil change in the tranny. The tranny must be brought up to a special temp and a special tool has to be used to check it and fill it. (Frustrating isn't it.) Something else that I decided to let Toyota do. I'll bet you looked in the owners manual to find out where the oil filter and tranny dipstick were, and could not really find anything. (Right) I also looked.

If you look in the manual to find how to change the "CABIN filter" (Bet you didn't know there was one) you won't really find anything either. It's easy, it behind the lower glove box in the Tundra. Open the Box, Remove the brace on the right side. Squeeze the sides of the box inward a little and pull it out. You will see a trap door. Open it and pull out the cabin air filter and replace it. Instructions come with it when you buy a new one at any auto store. (Cost about $25) Toyota charges $58 to do this same thing.

I've resigned myself to checking the air in the tires. Oh wait, the 2008 also does that automatically. The tire reset button is under the dash by your right knee. (Sigh!)

Does the timing belt need to be changed at 60000 miles on a Hyundai XG350?

What do you do when you can't get the fuel door open on the 2001 VW Beetle?

Place fingernails under outer edge of fuel door. Lift and push door towards the middle of the vehicle. This has always worked for me since the fuel door release stopped working correctly. You can acces the fuel door release cable from the inside of the trunk. Just remove the circular plastic cover inside the trunk nearest to the fuel door, pull the cable until the door releases. To fix this problem permanently you will need to tighten this cable.

How do you replace an interior door handle on a Toyota Camry?

AnswerThe interior door handle in a Toyota is one of the easiest things to replace. First purchase a new interior handle for said car. Then look for any screws in the door panel (usually in the plastic trim pieces such as a door pocket or with a plastic flip-cap on them)and remove them. Then you should use a door panel removal tool (auto parts store in the "help" section $5.00) to pop the plastic retainers behind the panel (from 6 to 10). There will be a plastic trim around the handel (screw behind a plastic flip-tab or four point pressure retainer{on the corners} that you need to remove. The handle will be retained by a screw or two or it is actually attached to the panel.

It really is simple. If you can change a filter on your home A/C unit, you can do this.
