They can go bad, sure. They're mechanical parts spinning against each other, they can get worn like anything else.

Under the hood on drivers side it should be mark on the outside of relay and fuse box.

There is a company in Montana that appears to specialize in this. I read an article about them and it led me to their website. The first Turbocharged production wheeled tractor was the Allis Chalmers D19 Turbo Diesel. It started production in 1961. Had a 262 Buda inline 6, indirect injection diesel with a Turbo. It was a D17 series III and IV diesel engine with a turbo more or less.

You can put controlling heat is so much harder. Usually on a high compression engine you want to run less boost. You can also get away with running more boost if you go with higher octane gas. This will help control heat and fight detonation. Thank you,

Any engine can be turbo'd . If it is a 3.8 v6 you could find a grand national kit a modify( lower boost 7 max) to make it work. Would need to modify the ECM or use the grand national ecm.

remove fuel rail above the injectors un hook the wire and pop it out clean around the injector before removeing it keep the dirt out of the cyl use alittle grease on the oring when you put the new one in

SI engines have high compression rates because it's a Non-Aspirated engine (NA) meaning it's all motor and no turbos. As an NA engine, it doesn't get additional power from anything but from the engine alone, so it requires high compression rates to maximize its torque and horsepower. On the other hand, SI engines should be tuned to lower compression rates before installing turbo chargers because Turbo chargers, when installed, significantly increases engine pressure to provide the needed power to force compressed cold air into the engine. Since an SI engine has a high compression rate, any significant increase on its compression after installing turbos may cause the engine to malfunction or worse, breakdown as the SI engine can only hold as much pressure at every given revolution rate (rpm) while running.

Need to know year/make/model to let you know if there are any kits avail. for your application, but there are superchargers for 3L v6 fords, mazda 6, jaguar is currently running sc 3L v6 cars, audi 30 v v6.

by using a supercharger u get 30 to 40% more horse power than when compared to an engine with out a supercharger....

If it uses engine oil for lubrication then there is no maintenance other than changing your engine oil and filter at a regular interval. I recommend 3,000 miles on a Supercharged car which uses engine oil for lubrication. If on the other hand it has a self contained lubrication system, then you need to read the owners manual or go to the manufacturer's web site.

Superchargers use a special type of oil that you can get from the dealer. I bought a small oil canister for $50 OMG, so expensive but need it. Hope that helps. I use GM supercharger oil in mine.... it runs about $12 at a GM dealer and comes in a pretty good sized bottle.... I read that it worked, tried it, and have not had any problems....

A turbo charger uses spent exhaust from the engine to spin a compressor wheel. This wheel spins a "fan" in the front of the turbo housing and sucks in and compresses more oxygen. Because more oxygen is being forced into the engine, more power is produced.

your best bet if you want to stick with the 12a motor is to buy the j-spec 12a which comes factory with a turbo. I found one i believe it was on "engineland.com" for 900 bucks so it isn't to expensive

There is no fuel additive that will increase mileage. This is a myth. None of the snake oil additives work.

follow the brake lines out of your master cylinder. your master cylinder is located right in front of yhe drivers seat under the hood. if you follow the lines you will find a valve it my be a combination valve and the metering valve is built in.
