I had the same noise on my 1997 Volvo 850. My noise was from the rear engine mount( behind the passenger front tire behind the wheel well cover). The part should cost about $60. Good Luck. Derek Check for a cracked strut mount. Replacement is simple, but the parts can be costly.

towards the front left end of the fuse box it should be fuse number 12.

if no access to a lift, get front end up as high as possible(safely)remove air dam if it hasn't already fallen or been ripped off u will see 2 12 mm bolts (one on each side of rad) u have to remove 4 10 mm bolts that hold ac condenser to rad assy bottom easy to see top are kinda harder to locate remove these disconnect wiring from cooling fan on rad (cooling fan will come out with rad)remove tranny lines and rad hoses from engine compartment there will be 2 torx 25 or 30 bolts that hold relay pack in place remove these and lift pack up and out of the way now take out 12 mm bolts on rad mounts rad will come out with some finessing past ac lines going into condenser on drivers side once out mount cooling fan to new rad and reinstall

The fuel door releases if the car is unlocked and is locked if the car is locked. Sometimes the door sticks and must be manually unlocked. To accomplish this open the trunk and lookon the right-hand side there is a small door to get to the tail light assembly. Using a flashlight look for a silver wire loop on the inner fender. Pull toward the tail light and this should unlock the door.

There is a fill plug with a 24mm head on it in the transmission case near the left side inner CV joint. It's esier to see with the left front wheel removed. Hope this helps!

If you mean for stopping the alarm after it has gone off, locking the doors (either by press the lock button on the remote or putting the key in the driver's side door and turning to the lock position) accomplishes that.

If you mean the cap, itself, push in and turn (counter-clockwise, I believe). If you mean the door, it simply pulls open, but you must have the car completely unlocked.

I think that you disconnect them from the trunk, then lift them up from inside the car.

I have a 1994 Volvo 850 non turbo automatic and i just got a quote of $2450 for a transmission rebuild from a reputable, quality shop.

[i]How many[/i], I don't know, but the standard place to find it is on a metal tag (like a large dog tag) under the hood. On my '97 850, it's on the driver side, attached to the body (facing towards the engine).

It's located near the oil dip-stick in front of the engine.

It's plased on the plastic tube coming from the intercooler.

The best way is to follow thw the top radiator hose there will be the housing with two bolts spray with w-d 40 or similar be very carful not to break bolts or you will have to dill it and put in a heli coil ,put in a 195 degree or same as you had in with new gasket ,make sure thermostat stay in groove in housing while installing

the thermostat is under the air assembly,monted onto the cylinder head.there are three screws holding the thermostat,remove screws,dissconnet the housing and pull the thermostat out.Assembly is the reverse steps

In addition to the above, you need to pull out the aluminum tube that slides into the back of the housing and change the large o-ring. This will also aid in pulling out the thermostat housing. Remove the hose clamp, hose and 13mm bolt on the bracket supporting the tube going into the thermostat housing. Remove the 3 10mm nuts holding the housing and remove the thermostat.

First, drain your radiator, the drain plug should be on the bottom right of the raditor facing the truck. The top radiator hose is attached to the thermostat housing, remove it, there should only be two bolts to remove from the housing, take those out, pop out thermostat, clean housing apply new gasket put new thermostat in, the same dirrection you took the old one out, put her back together, add antifreeze till full, start truck and add more antifreeze until full, and your done.
