No. At least with rear wheel drive without posi track only one rear wheel drives the vehicle. Not sure if there's a drive wheel or if both wheels pull the vehicle on a front wheel drive. It's hard to find rear wheel drive anymore. It's usually only produced now on sports/muscle car models if at all

The watercooled ones are made at VW's Mexico factory. The aircooled ones were made all over the world but are not made anymore.

I would recommend doing a coolant flush and replacing the thermostat.I would suggest replacing the upper and lower radiator hoses if over four years old as well.To flush the system first drain the old coolant out then replace the hoses and the thermostat housing is connected to the upper radiator hose.Fill the system with water and a prestone brand flush run for 20 minutes and check the fluid level with the radiator cap off to alloy the air to escape and then place the cap back on let idle with heat on fan on the highest setting.Drain the flush refill with just water do the same as above.Once you run just water thru the sytem drain it out.Now fill the system with one gallon regular antifreeze and top off with water to reach the 50/50 mix.I normally use one gallon antifreeze and add a little water to get my protection to -30 or 265 degrees for maximum results.Now if after you still have no heat it could be you need to replace the heater core itself due to it being corrorded or blocked.To do this job does required removing the dash (not difficult unless your first time).Try the flush and hoses and new thermostat.If after the simple task and still no heat the heater core is more than likely the problem and does require several hours to do.I know first hand I just did mine.Effective January 2010. Note I use a stant lever release style radiator cap which releaves the pressure on the radiator with out spewing out fluid and it goes to the overflow reservoir so you can open the cap with no overflow to check the level and not have a mess.Hope this book is not overwhelming.

A mass airflow sensor measures the amount (mass) of air flowing into the engine at any given time. It has an internal electronic circuit which measures the current required to keep a reference temperature of a resistor array. since flowing air will cool down the array, the more current required to reheat it the more air mass is flowing. The current is translated into an electrical signal used by the electronic control unit to deliver the required amount of fuel by controlling the time that the injectors will remain open. This action happens in milliseconds and repeat itself as long as the engine is running.

It's on the inside of the lid in the fuse box, which is under the hood. Mine's on the driver's side, near the fire wall.

The information is in the Owners manual Page 166. Open the hood and locate rear of the headlight assemblies. To change the high beam on the passenger side you must remove the radiator reserve tank by pulling straight up. To remove the bulb casing from the wiring, push on the lock tab that holds the wiring case to the bulb casing and push down. This will disconnect the wiring clip from the bulb casing. Turn the bulb casing 1/8 turn counter clockwise, which will release the bulb casing from the headlight assembly. Place the new halogen bulb with casing into the rear of the headlight assembly and reattach the wiring harness to the bulb casing, making sure it locks in place. Replace radiator reserve tank if removed and test headlights.

If you want to do this yourself purchase the Haynes or Bentley manual for your car. Haynes and Bentley produce excellent manuals that others cannot compare to. Chiltons manuals are useless do not waste your $$$

i don't believe you can reverse the polarity on a fuse, they simply regulate the amperage of the circuit they protect,

Any oil that meets VW specification 504.00 is fine. If you take the car to the dealer it will come back with Castrol Edge 5W30 in it.

There is a separate motor that runs the odometer. It is not running for some reasson. TAke it to a speedo shop.

my 1998 Honda accord lx I4 has a governor at 138 mph. It is the same generation accord, and thus i would guess that yours is similar, (unless they changed the governor for the v6 which is doubtful)

ive a 307, probably the same, under glovebox on passengers side, switch puses into a hole onto a moving bar from brake pedal. Imagine its a left hand drive and its where youd expect. Thanks I have found it under the brake pedal, alittle tricky to get at , and you must have the right amount of thread bolted through to make a proper connection with the pedal when depressed
