How to fix a drooping headliner?
Once a headliner starts drooping there is nothing you can do to fix it. You can temporarily find solution though. I put thumb tacks in mine, they keep coming down every now and then though, you just need to push them put in. You could also staple it to the roof(not recommended).
The ultimate solution though is to buy a headliner kit for about $30 and replace it following the instructions.
You can get things at a craft store like joanne fabrics that work fine and never fall out.they have like a clear button with a tiny like corkscrew on them so all you have to do is turn them in,they really work fine.hope this helps.
The proper fix is to find foam backed headliner material at a fabric store. Take the trim out and take the headliner board down. Clean it and remove all the old foam. Put on the new fabric and reinstall in car.
optionally, you could remove the headliner and pay an upholstery shop to reline the fabric
or, if you've got plenty of $$$ buy a whole new headliner from a dealership
I have repared many sagging and drooping headliners with little expense. You must carefully remove the trim that holds the headliner in plaace then remove the headliner. They DO come out of the car when you figure out the angle it must be in. Be careful not to bend it. Once removed, carefully remove the material. If it begins to deteriorate, the headliner material can be purchade custom cut and fit from outlets like J.C. Whitney. Use a srpay adhesive like 3M and LIGHTLY spray the surface that the headliner material goes on. Center the material and smooth out from center to edges using your hands or a 3 or 4 inch paint roller until it is smooth and fastened. Let it set for a few hours for the adhesive to cure. Then reinstall the headliner, trim and anything else you removed. If done properly, it will look like new. Be patient.

What would make make your car ping all the time?
Possibly knocking valves, incorrect ignition timing, fuel injectors in need of cleaning or replacing, worn or improperly gapped spark plugs, worn or damaged ignition control module and/or ignition coils, vacuum leak from a hose. Before even going to a shop, try running your car on just premium fuel for the next couple of fill-ups and see if that doesn't help dramatically. You can also add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank, or an octane booster. If these options don't fix the problem, try checking the spark plugs and wires for wear and tear. If you're going to replace the plugs, I would go ahead and replace the wires as well, and vice versa...anything more serious than that would probably be best serviced by an experienced mechanic. Hope this helps!

Where is the coolant temp sensor on a 1993 Saturn sc2?
Your Saturn Twin cam engine actually has two temp sensors on it. They are both located on the right side of the cylinder head ( right side as if you are looking at the motor) mounted just under the valve cover line. They are small 2 wire pinch type connectors and are simple to replace. The one closest to the water inlet is the sensor that controls your gauge on the dashboard. the 2nd sensor just behind that controls the computer and your engine fans.

How do you chech or change or fill the transmission fluid on a 72 VW Super Bug?
To check the fluid, you jack the car up, remove the transmission fill plug and stick your finger in the hole. If you can't feel any fluid, you need to add some.
The fill plug is on the left side of the transmission. It's a 17mm Allen bolt. I've seen long-handle 17mm Allen wrenches and sockets with pieces of 17mm Allen wrench welded into them. Both work. Anyway, unscrew this bolt and stick your finger in the hole.
To fill the transmission, start by jacking the car up, removing the left rear wheel, and removing the fill plug. Don't drain your transmission if you can't get new fluid in! You'll need to refill the transmission with a little over two and a half quarts (2500ml actually) of 80W90 hypoid oil. It comes in a bottle with a pointed tip. Get three or four feet of hose that will fit the tip of the oil bottle and a drain pan. Remove the drain plug (fill plug in your hand, of course) and let the transmission drain. While you're waiting, look close at the drain plug. There's a magnet in it, and there should be a little bit of metal shavings stuck to it. Clean them off. If the plug looks like a porcupine from all the metal shavings on it, start saving up for a new transmission. Once the trans is drained and the plug is clean and reinstalled, stick the hose through the wheelwell into the fill hole on the trans and start slowly adding oil to the trans. Leave the drain pan under there because you fill the trans to overflowing, let the excess run out and clean the side of the case after you screw in the fill plug.

How do i open the hood of a 2001 Volkswagen beetle?
There is a handle on the drivers side, to the left, just above the floor board. Pull this handle toward you and you will hear the hood pop. Go to the front of the car and pull the hood up. At this point a tongue like mechanism will come out in the middle, right under the partially lifted (about a quarer of an inch of space between hood and bumper)hood. Pull this toward you and it will release the hood, thus opening it.
