What is the value of vietcong flag?
It all depends upon what the COLLECTOR is willing to pay for it. Another words, to a golfer (a soccer mom example) who most likely collects nothing but golf clubs, and plays cards...he'll most likely pay nothing for it. To a military collector...and that flag is in his FIELD OF STUDY (or hobby) then that's where the value will lay.
The second biggest problem, and it's as common as slow traffic, is that anything that is cloth can be faked; therefore the problem will be selling the point of authenticity to the buyer.
Good question, which I fear I can't answer. The Olympic Games are related to the town of Olympia and several mountains called Olympus or Olympos, which are all very prominent in their region. It is tempting to say the name must mean "Home of the Gods" or something similar (and that may well be true), but there is no modern Greek, English or other word like Olym or Pus which means Home or Gods. The Pous/Pus/Pos bit resembles words involving feet, or base, such as tripod or platypus, and the nearest Oli/Oly equivalent would seems to be the Olive tree. A wild speculation might be that the first Mount Olympus, wherever it was, arose from an area particularly rich in olives, and its name was not directly connected to its height or majesty. The connection between the name Olympus and the function Home of the Gods would be a coincidental association, but which later became the normal term for the abode of deities.

What did the confederate flag look like?
There was no official Confederate flag. At Fort Sumter, when the Confederates captured it, they raised an odd looking flag that represented the 7 rebellious states. Later the so-called flag came to be individual battle flags for certain Confederate armies. To use a "modern idea" of the Southern flag, it best can be describes as gray-blue and red with crossed bars containing stars to represent states in the Confederacy. In modern times the so-called Confederate flag is denoted as the old fashioned "stars and bars" flag that for a piece of time represented the 4 year confederacy.
