Since you replaced the battery and alternator, you must have had a problem before. Did you run a voltmeter on the battery while the engine is running? Should have around 14 volts. If you are getting around 14 volts, you can assume that the lite might be faulty. If you are getting say, 12 to 13 volts, then the alternator might be faulty, yes even sometimes rebuilt ones. Check all the wires to make sure there is good contact, also if you still have the problem, then you might have a broken wire ( somewhere ). Good luck

There are three bolts involved. The top bolt located closest to the engine is your Pivot bolt. Loosen that bolt so the alternator will pivot downward when you unlock it. Speaking of unlocking, there is another bolt located on the bottom of the alternator, loosen and remove this bolt. Finally, on the front of the alternator there is a tension adjustment bolt. Loosen that until the belt clears the pulley so that you can remove it. You don't have to remove the tension bolt, just loosen it. Once the belt is removed make sure to disconnect any wire/plugs, etc from the alternator, remove the pivot bolt and viola! Installation is the reversal.

Removal & Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Relieve fuel system pressure.
- Disconnect the ignition coil.
- Remove the upper intake manifold.
- Disconnect the vacuum line to the regulator.
- Remove the snap ring from the regulator housing.
- Place a towel under the regulator to absorb any spilled fuel and remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail socket.
- Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
- Remove the pressure regulator O-ring filter, O-ring backup and O-ring and discard them.

To install:
- Before installing the O-rings, lubricate them with clean engine oil and install them on the regulator inlet as a complete assembly.
- Install the snap ring retainer into the slot on the regulator housing.
- Connect the vacuum line to the regulator.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Turn the ignition ON for 2 seconds and then turn itOFF for 10 seconds. Again turn the ignition ON and check for leaks.
- Install the manifold plenum.

step two: Pry the bottom part in half with a screwdriver or butter knife.
