It depends on the year of the Buick. Most of the newer Buicks use an electric actuator to change the vent door positions. If that's the case with yours you have a problem with wiring or a faulty actuator or switch.
If yours is one of the vacuum controled heater boxes you probably have a leaky vacuum line or diaphragm.
How do you remove the front door panel on a 1996 Buick Skylark in order to change the speakers?
Not entirely sure. I think you have to buy a special tool that is designed for separating body panels. They are usually held on with plastic rivets that will release if pressure is applied outward near the rivets. That said, you can just remove the speaker grill in most cases. Push a side of the grill toward the center, and pull outward. They are held in place by retaining clips in an X pattern, so work from an area that's within the X

Remove the plastic cover over the drivers side headlights, then remove the headlight assembly(driver side only). The horn is directly underneath it - fairly easy to access, remove, replace, whatever you need to do. I replaced mine in no time.

How do you replace the alternator on a 1995 Toyota Celica ST?
There are three bolts involved. The top bolt located closest to the engine is your Pivot bolt. Loosen that bolt so the alternator will pivot downward when you unlock it. Speaking of unlocking, there is another bolt located on the bottom of the alternator, loosen and remove this bolt. Finally, on the front of the alternator there is a tension adjustment bolt. Loosen that until the belt clears the pulley so that you can remove it. You don't have to remove the tension bolt, just loosen it. Once the belt is removed make sure to disconnect any wire/plugs, etc from the alternator, remove the pivot bolt and viola! Installation is the reversal.

I am no expert but I believe you will find the ECM on the front left side of the engine, in front of the alternator. The ignition coil sits on top of it. Can't miss it all the spark plug wires run to it and its labeled 1-4,2-5,3-6. It shoule be like 6 bolts to get the coils off and it is right under there.

This is my issue.I cannot start my 96 skylark because the the theft system light keeps blinking.This is caused by a problem/defect with somthing called passlock.In a 96 skylark there is no fuse for this.There is a resistor in the ignition/steering column not in the key.I am going to try and suggest you try the folloeing.1.)Attempt to sart,let it stall but don't turn the key off.Leave it in the run position.2.)Wait ten minutes or until the theft system light glows steady instead of blinking.3.)Don't turn the key off but start it immediately.4.) This should reset your passlock system.

Just disconnect wire harness from tank or remove fuse to fuel pump then start and run engine until it runs out of fuel in line then continue to try to start for 20 seconds then disconect battery and service pump or injectors as the fuel system is now empty of fuel and pressure.

maybe you need to check into resetting you oil light. i have worked for jiffy lube and just about every car has to have the oil light reset. so see what that does for you. if that dont work you may have problems with low oil preasure .
