A rotten egg smell is usually a sign of a failing catalytic convertor and also at times failing oxygen sensors. try the cat first and that should alleviate your smelly problem. answer before you change expensive catalictic converter, try using a different brand of fuel sometimes fuel company additives will make your exhaust smell like rotten eggs

The air intake system for most vehicles is located over the transmission hump between the driver and passenger. You can spray some air freshener down in this area and it will circulate through the vents. Try this on MAX AC. Additionally, you can put an can of air freshener down there full time.

I do not recommend tearing into the dash, there are a ridiculous amount of wires and vacuum tubes back there and tracking down a gremlin in one of those will drive you insane.

It may be located behind your glove box. You should see a thin panel type plastic piece. that would be your filter. Careful when you pull it out so you don't get sand and leaves inside the blower motor housing.

The burning smell from the exhaust pipe may be caused from oil or transmission fluid leaking into the exhaust pipe. For example, if your turbo is failing on the car, then that can cause leakage from the manifold into the exhaust pipe. There may be other reasons, too, which other people will be better articulating.

The hill is causing the car to work harder. Heat will increase. One common smell would be a rotton egg or sulpher smell from the catalytic converter. This should not be uncommon or too much of a worry. When the car is cool, check radiator an make sure there is fluid there AND in the reservior. Add antifreeze if neccesary. Be sure the hot smell is not a burning smell. It would be good to check other fluids at this time. Pay attention to any other symptoms. If there is a burning smell, check around the exhaust system for anything against it that may burn. Check transmission fluid level, etc. Are there any other symptoms?

If antifreeze is filtering through your ac vents, other toxins could also be coming through. Don't take chances; see a mechanic.

Sounds like you are leaking anti-freeze into the combustion part of your motor, generally caused by a cracked head. Not good the smoke is generally white that comes out of your exhaust.

Your intake manifold which is mostly plastic is more than likely leaking on the back end. the only fix is a new intake which is $300.00 for the part and then labor. Theres no getting around fixing it. Its a fixed plastic unit and the gasket is built into the intake. i own 3 fords and replaced all of them by 150,000 miles.
