You should probably check the CV joint. If it's worn you could have some serious trouble soon.
If you don't know how to check the CV joint, take it to a shop that specializes in front end work.
I have 2000 Ford Contour engine turns over but won't start What could it be?
Check for fuel and spark.
Why won't Hyundai tiburon won't crank?
Could be a number of things:
-Dead battery
-Blown Main Fuse
-Bad starter relay
-Bad starter
-bad ignition switch
Why is my 93 Saturn clicking when car is off draining battery?
This is gonna be fairly unspecific but it sounds as if you have some loose electrical wiring and it is probably grounding out or shorting out on your frame. Once you find the break or loose wiring clean it up and you should be ok.
Hi there, i had the same problem with my 2004 Mazda MPV and it took me 2 Months to find out it was the fuse that if connected to the wiring to the remote starter itself. The remote has 3 fuses, 2-30Amp and 1-15Amp fuse.
I replaced the 30Amp and was up and running.
Why wont my car start when its rainy outside?

What does an oil sending sensor do?
They "sense" the oil pressure inside the engine. If you have an instrument panel oil pressure gauge the sending unit sends an analog signal to the gauge. If you have an oil pressure "idiot light", the sending unit turns the light on when the oil pressure is low.
My car was hit in the front and now it won't start-what can be wrong with it?
If it is a newer model Ford product80'S THEN THE INERTIA SWITCH HAS BEEN TRIPPED AND NEEDS TO BE RESET.
Ford Probe dies stalls kills won't start?
Will it even attempt to engage the starter?. If not then the battery or charging system needs to be looked at.
Changed battery in 1999 Oldsmobile delta 88 and won't start?
So you changed your battery and it still wont start.
Few things to look at here... lets get started.
Side post battery, ensure the batterys ends are clean and tight. Peel back the first 1/2 inch of plastic on the cable and look for corosion. If its present....either cut 1/2 an inch off it and put on new terminal connectors, its a 3 dollar fix.
Corrosion will prevent the proper ammount of amperage draw to leave the battery and reach the starter. usually indicated by a single click, or clicking when the key is turned.
No clicking at all.. lets take a look at the ignition switch. remove it and take it to your local auto zone for testing. Its free, and takes about 10 minutes to remove and replace. The part is bad this is a 30 dollar fix. This is very common for this year model of car. This is my guess of your problem from past experience.
Last lets take your starter off. It also can be bench tested at Auto Zone for free. It will take you about 20 minutes to remove and 20 minutes to put back on.
Sorry but all of your diag tips require time to remove parts and replace, but your own labor is free vs. A shops labor rate.
I hope this helps you , good luck.
If you dont change the oil in a car for a while wouldn't that stop it from starting?
It would take a long time before the oil would sludge up to the point of not allowing the engine to turn over.
Why car wont start after running hot?
Any time a vehicle runs "hot", that in itself is a huge issue. The vehicle may-- or may not--- restart once it cools off. However, excessive heat in an engine means (A) something bad already exists and (B) the longer the engine runs while excessively hot, the more damage is being done! Never ever run or drive a vehicle with signs of it overheating!
You may not have any radiator fluid / water left. Let the engine cool completely before checking the radiator!
You may not have any oil in your car and the engine might have locked up, in which case the only real fix unless you are good with engines is to buy a new car or engine.
There is also the chance that you blew out the fuses to your starter or ignition.
What would make a 2001 Dodge Dakota just click when you try to start it?
Check both battery terminals mine did the same thing but battery was 100% tightened terminals and no problems.... if corrosion on terminals a baking soda + water concoction removes corrosion very easily. usually a click is a dead battery or an incomplete circuit. Best of luck
Ido not have an Intrepid . But if it is yous then the switch is most likely in need of replacing cause the guts are broken up.
If the key does not work to start the car must the whole ignition cylinder be taken out?
If the Ignition switch is faulty, all you need to change is the switch module, not the lock cylinder. Normally removal of the switch module, is just a matter of removing a couple of screws.
Replacement of the steering lock and ignition switch assembly, is usually only required following an auto-theft.
yes
How do you start a Mercedes e300 diesel after running out of fuel?
fill fuel filter by holding still filter with one hand and removing o ringed securing banjo bolt with 19mm spanner with the other then top up with diesel refit banjo bolt and tighten it up then using 14mm open ended spanner crack/undo slightly injector pipe nuts on injectors until fuel can be seen seeping between pipe and nut preferably each one then tighten all nuts back up . beware disturbing diesel system or running out of diesel can cause sucking in air /fuel leaks mainly the stop solenoid o rings of which there are 2 large inside solenoid and 1 small one visible on the inlet junction on solenoid to pump body. good luck. hope you have a decent fully charged battery for lengthy cranking
1989 Audi door wont unlock with key?

Why wont my car turn on after having white smoke come from the exhaust?
water on the cylinders from a blown head gasket or cracked head.
What is wrong when the Starter engages but engine does't turn over?
the engine is locked up. Not good. Very expensive.
If it keeps doing that all the time and dont starts check your key the key that you may have is a security key and what it does is that it does that on your dasch board odometer, you may have a security key the have a sensol right onb the middle of the key so check that out ok....
u might have broke something the actual ignition lock cylinder, that would be my guess from the sounds of it.
What is the frame of a car called?
Most vehicles now are considered unibodies meaning that the body acts as the frame for the majority of the vehicle. Large SUVs and pick-ups still use the traditional body on frame setup due to it's ability to tow larger loads. Either way, the term used to describe the underpinnings of a vehicle is chassis (pronounced "chassy").
