i have a 94 town and country and the fuse that runs my lighter is the one that runs the horn. it is located under the steering column. i have to get a flashlight and turn upside down to be able to see the fuses. i am not for sure the exact one but i do know that it is a 20. see if this can help you any.

if is located in the right fuse panel. 2 Row From the bottom and count in 5 from the left its number 35. (20 amp)

you can also find the location in your owners manual. book 3.3.

Trade it in for a Volvo. Or a BMW. Or a Ford. Anything but a Peugeot. I guarantee you this will not be the last thing you fix.

the best way to find out is to go on youtube or you can make it out of match heads by crushing up the powder then making it into a damp paste by adding water and then roll a peice of rolled up paper in it the match heads

I also am trying to make the cigarette lighter work in my 19999 Cabrio; to use it for a phone charger. I have found out this much. The cigarette lighter (CL) fuse does not seem to be one of the 22 fuses that are easy to reach under the dash, in the obvious fuse compartment. Above that row of 22 fuses is a number of square relays. about 1.5 inches square metal boxes with numbers on them.

Above those are 5-6 fuses. According to the manual, the CL fuse is up in this area.

If you push the white clips up on either side of the fuse panel, the whole fuse and relay panel drops down a little (you have to lift it over the holding supports. (very easy). I happened to have removed the black plastic surrounding the fuse box, and I removed the 6 screws holding the cover below th estyering wheel in place. There are two 15 amp (the manual say the CL fuse is 15 amp) in the area above the relays. One is upper left corner (I found it hiding behind a piece of rubber or wire harness) and is a normal plastic see-through fuse. The other is about an inch below that and is a metal fuse about 1" wide and 1/4 inch thick. 15 amps is printed on it. It clips into place. I am going to the auto store tomorrow hoping to find a replacement of this little metal fuse.

It was made between November 57 and April 1958. Records are sketchy with the "A" prefix Auto5's, and this is the closest that we can get. FN made over 10,000 in this A & T series during the period. Being a lower number, it would be safe to assume that your gun was made in 1957. Value depends on condition. On the low end a well used Sweet would fetch around $400-$600. A mint in the box could bring $1800+.

I had no lighter or matches so I tryed a few thing .... i tried to use a hair straightner and that fail ... i also tried the oven but i couldn't work it so .....so i then fought the toaster and it worked :) be careful though

it's in the fuse box , when you pop up the hood, unscrew the box, there is a sticker in the box that shoews which fuse is the cigarette ligther.

It is the ACC Fuse in your fuse box. It also runs the radio and digital clock. If both of those work, and just not the lighter, then you need to replace the lighter assembly. I got mine at Toyota dealer parts department for $45.98, part number 85500-28050.

When choosing a replacement, make sure the current rating is exactly the same, eg, 15A. The current rating should be clearly displayed on the fuse. If a voltage rating is also given, make sure it is for at least 14V (most fuses will have ratings far above 14V, as 200V are quite common.) Using a current rating that is too small will not harm your electrical system and might work (say, you only have a 10A spare available to replace a 15A), this will work in a pinch, but it may cause the fuse to prematurely blow again. In no cases should you use a replacement fuse with a higher rating however! Using a replacement fuse for more than its rated will allow more current to flow than the system was designed for and can cause damage to your electrical system or present a fire hazard.

If you just don't want to keep the material - and I'd hate to think of how much genealogical information is lost when family letters are disposed of - I can think of a couple of options. 1) Talk to other family members and give them the choice of taking it off your hands rather than giving/selling it to strangers. 2) You might be surprised at how much people *will* pay for old paper of this sort, even if the correspondents weren't famous. Get in touch with a local antiques auction and ask if they deal in ephemera/old paper. It may not bring in a lot, but it's greatly preferable (in my opinion) to throwing it out. 3) Check with your local historical society. They may be interested in preserving them.

Bad lighter maybe? Something else hooked into the same circuit and when you use the lighter it overloads the circuit, blowing the fuse? because of where the lighter outlet sets anything you plug in get hit by the shifter check for loose or frayed wires behind it
