When did the teaching of Creationism start?
The oldest book known to man is the Bible. It predates all other books on any subject, including religious writings by hundreds, even thousnads of years.
The first Bible writer, by tradition of biblical scholars, was a man named Moses (it has not been historically established that this Moses existed). It has been calculated by scholars that the book of Genesis, which is famous for it's creation account was written around 1513 B.C.E., which was a little over 3500 years ago. Obviously, if a person believes in the existence of a literal Adam and Eve, they would accept that the teaching of creationism goes back to them. But Moses reports that there were others that also believed in a creator. One such individual that Moses tells us about was a man named Abel. We know that Abel believed in a creator, because he is reported to have offered a sacrifice to the creator.(Gen Ch 4) Abel lived somewhere around 3900 B.C.E. Still others after Abel believed in a creator. Enoch (3404 B.C.E.), Methusaleh (3339 B.C.E.), Noah (2970 B.C.E.), and more. Some are reported to have been aware of a creator, but refused to submit to the creator, such as a man named Nimrod (c. 2300 B.C.E). The teaching of creationism goes back as far as man's earliest existence, but there is written documentation that helps as well.
There are many many written accounts of the creation of earth, the universe and of mankind. The majority of these predate the Hebrew account of genesis. Creation by a deity of some kind is the earliest explanation mankind was able to develop concerning his own existence. So, I would say that a philosophy of creation has been taught ever since people began asking the question.
Answer:
One thing that researchers agree upon is that mankind has always believed in a Higher Power. Archaeology has shown that no ancient society ever existed that did not believe in the supernatural.
Based upon a massive worldwide study of the most ancient inscriptions and the earliest levels of civilization, Dr. Wilhelm Schmidt (in his twelve-volume Der Ursprung Der Gottesidee) concluded that the original belief was monotheistic1. It was a simple belief in the Creator (Sky-Father) with no imagery of any kind. The Torah of Moses simply reinstates the belief in Creation in its original purity. The belief itself goes all the way back to Creation. Notes: 1) Albright, "From the Stone Age," p.170; and J.A. Wilson, "The Culture of Ancient Egypt," p.129.
The people who developed both are either not known in the first case, or many and varied in the second.
Were did the word alien come from?
Alien is the Latin word meaning "someone not from here", it was used to refer to foreigners
There are many reasons why life exists on Earth...
REASON ONE: ATMOSPHERE
Earth has a breathable atmosphere. Oxygen is the gas that is required for the life of most creatures. This is present in Earth's atmosphere, along with nitrogen, and in water, along with hydrogen. Oxygen is constantly put into the atmosphere by plants and trees. Fortunately, Earth's atmosphere does not contain much carbon dioxide, a poisonous gas which makes up most of the atmosphere of planets like Venus and Mars. In densely populated areas, carbon dioxide is more present. This is because cars and factories produce it. This causes the air to be polluted. The Earth's atmosphere is kept on the planet by its pull of gravity. Mars and Mercury are too small to keep atmosphere. As a result, Mercury has no atmosphere, and Mars' atmosphere is very thin, containing gases which have not managed to escape into space yet. Earth's atmosphere is thick enough to prevent poisonous rays of radiation from getting through it (this is what has happened on Mars).
REASON TWO: CLIMATE
Earth has a suitable climate. This is caused by the moderate amount of carbon dioxide in the planet's atmosphere, which is constantly refreshed whenever there is a volcanic eruption. The temperature on Earth does not go from one extreme to the other either. Mercury can be anything from 200°c below freezing to 375°c above. At 375°c, water would only exist as a gas, and the planet would be completely dry. Venus has a surface temperature of 480°c, which would be much too hot for anybody to live in. Mars, although it can reach 25°c, can be as cold as -140°c, a temperature which would freeze blood and water. The other planets are colder still.
REASON THREE: WATER
Earth has water! Water is believed to be the most important chemical necessary for life. It contains the oxygen needed for life. Other liquids contain poisonous elements. Water doesn't burn skin (like liquids containing acids do), it is drinkable, and it allows life providing molecules to move around easily. Other moons in the Solar System, such as Europa, a moon of Jupiter, are believed to have oceans of water under its icy surface. Scientists believe that, if they could find traces of water on Mars, the possibility of life existing on that planet would be greatly increased. Water on Earth can be found anywhere, in its three states. It can be frozen, taking the form of ice. It can be liquid, seen in seas and oceans and lakes. It can also be a gas, seen as clouds. In the picture below, we can see water in its three states; a solid, a liquid and a gas. The blue glow at the top of the Earth is the planet's thin atmosphere.
REASON FOUR: LIGHT
All planets receive light from the Sun, but no planet uses it as usefully as Earth. Trees and plants on the planet produce oxygen through a process called photosynthesis. Plants need the Sun to grow. Look at plants in windows and notice how they usually seem to grow towards the Sun. Try growing a plant in a dark room and in a light room. Notice which one grows quicker. The one which has grown quickest is the one which also produces more oxygen. It is believed that if we were able to get plants to grow on another planet, such as Mars, they would begin putting oxygen into the planet's atmosphere and increase the possibility of life. Saturn's moon, Titan, has an atmosphere containing mainly nitrogen. If this moon was to possess oxygen too in its atmosphere, by a plant photosynthesising on it, it could have a similar atmosphere to Earth. Something else which helps the plants to photosynthesise on Earth is the length of time the planet takes to spin once on its axis. Taking just under 24 hours means that each side of the planet receives sunlight regularly. If we look at a planet like Venus, which takes 243 days to spin on its axis, it means that for a large period of time certain parts of the planet are in complete darkness. So even if the planet could support life, it would struggle to do so.
REASON FIVE: THE SUN
All of the reasons given above for life existing on Earth are only possible because of one main reason. The Sun! Put simply, if there was no Sun, there would be no life on Earth. Technically, Earth probably wouldn't exist either! Because of Earth's ideal distance from the Sun, it receives the perfect amount of heat and light to allow life to be created and to support it. Imagine what would happen if the Sun suddenly vanished. How would you keep warm? How would you see? How would you get food and drink? How would plants and trees grow? How would they photosynthesise? Where would Earth go? The Sun's gravity keeps Earth in its orbit, but if the Sun vanished, Earth would simply float away.
What do Christians think about old earth versus new earth theory?
Christians are divided between; From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Old Earth creationism is a variant of the creationist view of the origin of the universe and life on Earth. As a theory of origins it is typically more compatible with mainstream scientific thought on the issues of geology, cosmology and the age of the Earth, in comparison to Young Earth creationism. However, it still generally takes the accounts of creation in Genesis more literally than theistic evolution (or evolutionary creationism).
Old Earth creationism is in fact an umbrella term for a number of perspectives, including Gap creationism and Progressive creationism. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Young Earth creationism is the religious belief that the Earth and life on Earth were created by a direct act of God dating between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. Its adherents are Christians, Muslims or Jews who believe that God created the Earth in six 24-hour days, taking the Hebrew text of Genesis as a literal account.
Why in the statues of Buddha does the Buddhas hand touch the ground in the enlightenment pose?
While Siddhartha was meditating in his quest for enlightenment the demon Mara appeared and tried to distract and tempt him but he resisted the temptations. Ultimately he touched the earth under the bodhi-tree and called upon her, the earth, to testify that he deserved to be left alone, based on his previous good deeds. The earth granted that to him and he reached enlightenment becoming the Buddha.
Is it true that the earth is only 6000 years old?
Great scientists of the past such as Newton and Keppler were often strongly religious and calculated dates that were not very different from the well known 4004 BC date provided by Ussher. Those who hold to a 6000 year age of the earth do so firstly because they believe the Bible to be the only truly reliable record about the past -given to us by a God who was there and who knows what happened. They also recognize that since the world is open to scientific inquiry, evidence can and has indeed been uncovered which puts the earth much more reasonably into the 6000 year age group.
It is also true to say that while many people believe the world to be 4.6 billion years old, this is not known, since there are many problems with dating methods -including not just the three unprovable assumptions on which they rest, but the notable fact that when the dates for rocks which supposedly are absolute age indicators do not agree with what the geologist already thinks is the probable date of the rocks, they are either discarded or explained away.
The finding of significant amounts of data which indicate the earth is actually close to 6000 years old can also support this conclusion in purely scientific terms.
HUMAN POPULATION
Creationists point to the current world population growth rate of 1.7% and contrast this with the 0.5% that would be needed to reach our current world population from Noah and his family after the flood 4,500 years ago, with the creation around 1500 years before that. This would thus include great catastrophes such as the post-flood ice-age and the Great Plague or Black Death which killed a large part of the population of Europe in the Middle Ages.
Creationists also point out that this is a great challenge to evolutionists to explain if their theory were true since there should be, with the much longer time periods involved:
1. A vastly larger human population.
2. A much greater quantity of human remains in the earth than are actually found.
3. Evidence for the alleged catastrophes that repeatedly (allegedly) nearly wiped out the entire human population.
Believing none of the evolutionary explanations can be demonstrated scientifically, creationists suggest they have the better explanation for what we actually find.
According to NASA it seems that MARS chocolate bars are what they eat.
yes he is a smart caring handsome person and you are like to be name that
What are similarities between creation and intelligent design?
Intelligent design in just another name for Creation. Believers in creationism don't want to use the word creation because it reflects a religious bias. Natural selection can be thought of as a component of evolutionary theory. At this point, proponents of Intelligent Design have not presented a unified, well formulated mechanism or model; it is a concept and not yet a coherent scientific theory.
What is san Fernando used for?

Hence the place is named after Saint Ferdinand.
In what country did Islam begin?
For many Muslims the term "Islam" has two meanings: the Divine Religion of Submission to God's Will (often called Islam with a small "i") and the Institutionalized Belief as Found in Qur'an and Revealed by Mohammed's Prophecy (often called Islam with a capital "I"). The following answers should be understood in either of those meanings.
Answer 1
Muhammad was born in Mecca and he began to preach Islam in the cities of Mecca and Medina, which are in modern Saudi Arabia. Islam originated in the 7th century. It is the youngest of the world's major religions. Saudi Arabia has now become the most restrictive country in the world vis-à-vis other religions.
Answer 2
Islam is an Arabic word that means submission to Allah (God in English). In this sense, Islam started by God since God creation of the universe. All creations were and are created on full submission (Islam) to God. This explains also that Islam in its universal sense is the mission of all God prophets to humanity. All prophets were calling people to Islam (submission to God, the one and only one). However:
Islam per the Qur'an revelation to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) started in the country that is currently called Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. See the Related Question below.
Regarding the opening statement and Answer 9: : The dual definitions of islam and Islam has no reference in any Islamic source. It is something baseless and introduced by some westerners.
Regarding Answer 1: Please reread this answer.
Answer 3
Prophet Mohammad(s.a.w) spread Islam in the whole world from Mecca and Medina (generally). So you can say it was founded in Saudi Arabia but it is not the religion of Arabs. Islam is a Universal Religion and even though it started in Saudi Arabia, today many countries have Islam.
Answer 4
The last Prophet of Islam was born in Makka, Saudi Arabia. In a way, we can say that Islam began in Arabia. Although, according to the Muslims all the Prophets of Allah preached Islam.
Answer 5
Islam began in Saudi Arabia (Mecca and Medina cities) when the prophet Mohammad first received vision from Allah through the angel, Jibril (Gabriel).
Answer 6
Saudi Arabia. The first Muslims led by the prophet Muhammad lived in Mecca and then moved to the city of Medina (previously known as Yathrib later renamed to Medina). Both Mecca and Medina are in present day Saudi Arabia. Back then it wasn't called Saudi Arabia cause Saud is the name of the royal dynasty who rules the country now, just the Windsors rule Britain. It was just called Arabia back then.
Answer 7
Islam has existed since the first day Adam was created! It has not started in a country but it is the religion of the heavens! However; since this heavenly Islam was distorted, Muslims believe the prophet Muhammad came to restore the message - the revival originated in the city of Mecca, in the country today called The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Answer 8
Believers in the faith of the Prophet Mohamed, consider Mecca as the origin of the religion. This is where the Prophet lived and is beneath the mountain where Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac. It is also the city with the Mosque that encloses the "Kaabah" and the destination for pilgrimage. The country is then the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mecca is next to the Red Sea, south of Jeddah.
Answer 9
islam with a small "i" (henceforth written as "islam") is a concept that comes out of Islam with a capital "I" (henceforth written as Islam") and projects the Established Religion of Islam back into the period before people would have identified as Muslim.
islam traces itself back to the universe's creation, making Islam the only proper human faith according to the Qur'an. Since it is considered part of universal creation, there is no country where islam begin, since islam existed before the world did.
Islam, as an Established Religion, was organized and directed by Mohammed, who, according to Islam, received revelations from God in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in the late 6th century. He was supported by several family members like his uncle Ali Ibn Talib and his first wife Khadija to pursue these prophecies. He converted other members to his nascent religion before being expelled from Mecca to Yethrib (now known as Medina) in 622 C.E. When Mohammed became the Chief Hakam or Judge/Administrator of Yethrib, he received many new revelations and began to ask members of his community to memorize these revelations (along with prior ones). These memorizers (in Arabic Hafeths) would eventually be responsible for the creation of one unified Qur'an. By Mohammed's death, he had conquered all of Arabia and converted most of Arabia to his new faith, establishing the grounds for an Islamic Caliphate, which succeeded him.
Answer 10
Islam is the only religion given to mankind by its Creator, Almighty God. It is not FOUNDED. It is as old as the first human being descended on the earth Hazrat Adam (AS) was the first Muslim and first Prophet of Almighty God. All the Prophets sent to earth by Almighty God for the guidance of humans preached One and the same religion-Islam. The last prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (May peace be upon him) was born in Makka. He started preaching Islam in 610 AD, in Makka in Saudi Arabia. The fundamental belief being: ONENESS of Almighty God, having No Son, No Parents, No Off-spring, No Partner. The Sole Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Ruler of all the worlds.
In Arabia, now called Saudi Arabia. Specifically in the towns of al-Makkah and al-Yathrib, now called Medinah.
Islam was started in the Modern day Saudi Arabia. In the Hijaz Province, which would be considered as Mecca now.
At the time, the area was known as "Al-Jazeera Al-Arabiya" (Arabian Peninsula).
Islam originates from Saudi Arabia.
Islam started by and even before start of universe creation. However, Islam per Quran God revelation to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) started by start of God revelation to the prophet in Makkah (or Mecca) in Saudi Arabia.
Longest period of time that has elapsed from an amendment was proposed until it became ratified?
202 years.........7 months............2 days
it was the 27th amendment
this is the oldest theory of how the state originated and was almost universally accepted in ancient and medieval times. it asserts that state is of divine origin for all political authority emanates from God. The ruler derives his power from god and god's agent on earth, he must be obeyed by the people in early modern times, this theory came to be known as the "divine right of kings."
What is the oldest known name for God?
The problem with the question is that the term "god" is a nebulous one. It can refer to anything with supernatural powers and therefore can range from local spirits that control a local river to omnipotent and omniscient universe creators. Whether or not any of these supernatural deities exist is purely a question of belief, so the question of whether a particular god referenced is a "true god/God" is debatable.
Local Spirits
Contrary to the assertions of the monotheistic faiths, there is absolutely no reason to believe that mankind was monotheistic in its earliest incarnations, later became polytheistic, and then "rediscovered" monotheism. Mankind has worshipped various deities since we first looked up at the night sky and pondered the question of our existence which in a logical reference for thousands of years. The concept of religious worship tracks to the birth of Behavioral Modernity, circa 50,000 B.C.E. Idols exist from this time, but as there is no writing nor surviving culture from that time, they could just be statues of people and rulers that people followed. We have these idols (from Africa predominantly), but we cannot state what the original beliefs of those people were as they do no track to any modern extant faiths.
The oldest representation of the "earth mother" is most likely Venus of Willendorf. A statue of which was discovered in 1908 and made between 22,000 and 21,000 B.C.E ( Before the christian era).
Polytheistic Divinities
It is unclear when exactly the concept of gods became more powerful, such that a god would be responsible for an element or a concept rather than a local physical entity. These gods could control all of the water or protect every home, etc. However, almost all major ancient civilizations, such as the Sumerians (the oldest currently known civilization) and the Egyptians had these types of gods. (It is unclear if China moved from local spirits to polytheistic divinities in the earlier periods.) Since the concept of polytheistic gods tracks to before civilization (otherwise how would it have proliferated in societies without sufficient contact with one another), we cannot say what the oldest polytheistic divinity is.
Sumeria was one of the oldest known civilizations on earth, Enki was the patron god of what is accepted as the oldest city on Earth, and the Monotheistic God is based on Sumerian myth of Enki or Marduk. There is also the god Anu, who was another of the oldest gods in the Sumerian pantheon and part of a triad including Enlil (god of the air) and Enki (god of water). Sumerian myth also has a creation myth that reads almost exactly like the Biblical creation myth, and also has a flood myth that is almost identical. Otherwise, the Egyptian sun god Amun Ra would be a close runner up.
Hades is also believed to be the oldest Greek god, but since Aegean civilization is much younger than Ancient Sumer or Ancient Egypt, it is certainly not the oldest god.
Monotheism
The earliest clear articulation of monotheism was the religion of Pharaoh Akhenaton called Atenism which existed in the 14th century B.C.E. However, this religion died with the Pharaoh twenty years later. Depending on whether Zoroastrianism is considered to be monotheistic, which is dubious given the amount of power Angra Mainyu weilds against Ahura Mazda, the clearest archaelogical articulations of "modern" monotheism track to the 5th century B.C.E. in Babylon (the Jews) or the 6th century B.C.E. in Persia (the Zoroastrians). Archaeology does not support the Biblical claim that Abraham and Moses lived nor that the Ancient Israelites were purely monotheistic. On the contrary, archaeology holds that there were several important Canaanite gods in the Israelite pantheon and monolatry (i.e. the acceptance of many gods, but the worship of only one) began in the reign of King Josiah. The rejection of the other gods, which was necessary for monotheism, was what occurred in Babylon.
Among Monotheist Believers
The oldest known God would be found in the mythos of the middle east.
Thus oldest known God is 'Elohim', the God of the Old Testament. He was first known at Creation, and you can't get much earlier than that! By definition, it is immaterial how long ago that was. By the way, it is incorrect to call 'Elohim' the Jewish God at Creation [dated at 4004BC Ussher] because Judah was not born until much later in 1755BC [Ussher].
The Middle East was the home of The God of Abraham, the God of Ur, and the various ideas of God in pre-Egypt and Pre-Hindu God-ideas of their respective regions. Both Egypt and India were at a time monotheistic in theory. But when each corresponding nation was established, their governments accepted all the ideas of God as individual gods, because it served to keep their nations together. Considering most religions can find their origins in India, we could state the oldest potential God is found there.

How were mankind and the universe created?
If you looking for scientific answer, then no one can answer this question.
scientifically the birth of the first man is impossible. so there must be someone with great powers. He or She would have created us
no one,you must belve he's fake!
Answer:
The invention of gods and supernatural forces to explain the workings of the world was one of mankind's earliest inventions. There is no record of when these beliefs came into being but evidence suggests that early man used magic in an attempt to control hunting and other attributes of his life.
What did aryan bring to India?
The aryans broght a completely new language and belief system to India. We see a dramatic discontinuity between the Indus valley civilization(4000BC-2000BC) which buried its dead and had a script which is still not deciphered and the vedic period which spoke sanskrit(the world's oldest indo European language) and cremated their dead.
They also brought in the caste system (though this is political dynamite in India so you are advised to avoid this topic ) as well as vedic gods and practices and concepts such as transmigration of the soul, reincarnation etc which are still the pillars on which all dharmic faiths of India are built on and then later spread to the rest of Asia via Buddhism.
Woodrow Wilson went to the table of the Treaty of Versailles with an agenda of creating the League of Nations. The nations of the world wanted to talk about their agendas not his 14 points. They were after revenge, retribution and admission of guilt when his agenda was peace and democratic ruling nations and alliances for his agendas. They basically had to promise him he would get his league if he got the Germans to sign the their Treaty and agreed to sign it too. He went back home and things changed while he was gone. He had to compromise. The US did not become part of the League because the US Congress did not go along with it. see related links below.
God's creation of day and night?
Day by day, God created the universe and its contents (Genesis ch.1).God created the universe out of nothing (Exodus 20:11, Isaiah 40:28; Rashi commentary to Genesis 1:14; Maimonides' "Guide," 2:30).Note that the Torah, in describing the Creation, deliberately employs brevity and ellipsis, just as it does in many other topics. See the Talmud, Hagigah 11b.
