Answer If I'm not mistaking the dash board speakers on your car are under the dash, close to the windshield. I think you would have to remove the entire dash to be able to get at them so do yourself a favor, put good speakers in when you install them, as taking the dash apart is one heck of a job.

I can, but it wouldn't be as pretty as when it was new. You could bring it to a body shop that does fiberglass repair. Of course, you could do it yourself with the proper equipment and some basic instruction. The process for repairing carbon fiber components is the same as for repairing fiberglass components. There are videos on youtube that show how to repair fiberglass.

To do this you need to remove the speedo unit itself. First off remove the 3 screws that hold the speedo surround trim there are 3 along the top but you point your screwdriver towards the roof. If that makes sense... The surround is the bit with the Boot release button on it. Once you remove the screws prise the surround out gently, there is a couple of clips that keep it in place but they should pop off quite easily. Then you need to unplug the boot release. The surround removed you then need to undo two screws in each top corner. one over near where the boot release button was and one near the trip computer. There are two more at the bottom but may be hidden a little by the rubbery sheet that sits on top of the steering rack, peel this back a bit. Once all the screws are removed then you need to unplug the power to the dials. The plug has a locking arm, if you open the car door you can get your head round the steering wheel enough to see it. The arm needs to be pushed away from the dials and to the left this also releases the wiring block. Once you have done it a couple of times it really is a lot easier than it sounds. The dials are then free. You will then be able to access the bulbs. You might need a small pair of pliers to twist them out but again once they have been swapped they will probably be just as easy by hand. If you doo need to remove the circuit board you may need a Torx screwdriver, I use a number 2 bit from my set and undid the 2 small screws, then I unclipped the plastic clips from the outside and eased it apart. You can try to just pop out the directional vent and reach in with a grabber tool if you can see it. I have recently removed a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado dashboard from a junkyard truck, and also my '92 Chevrolet Silverado dashboard from my fathers truck and installed the new one I removed from the junk yard truck...let me just inform you, it's not easy. Start at the bottom removing those screws and work your way up is my best suggestion.

Two screws at the top of the dash, both sides of the plastic facier. Now drop the steering wheel,and pull out the surround. Now there is four screws holding the dash in. One in each corner, unscrew these and the dsh will just pull out..DONE...

The 1986 Ford F1 50 pickup truck dashboard is held in place with six retaining bolts and 10 retaining clips. Remove the retaining bolts and pry outward on the retaining clips.

I have an 2005 and the headlights on it will dim, and then brighten back to normal. I bought it brand new, and it has done it since I bought it. I actually took it back to the dealership, and asked them about it, and they said that Chevy knew that it would do that, but that the car would keep running, and that there was nothing that they could do about it. the dash is fairly simple to remove...all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a bit of patience. There are a ton or screws but they are all visible except three of them...they are located in the windshield vents but are still accessible if your careful

on the mk2 it is under the front scuttle behind the windscreen wiper motor, to get to it the cover has to be removed, this is three bolts one at each end and one in the middle, once this large and cumbersom piece of plastic is removed it will reveal the wiper motor, the pollen filter is up behind this(a torch might be required), the filter itself is held in with two tabs one on the left and one one the right, once released it can then be removed out towards the drivers side. once out the filter can be removed from the frame , refitting is the reverse, should take in all about ten miniuts.
