Where is the location of the turn signal flasher in a 1990 Dodge Dynasty?

at the very top of underneath the dashboard above the fuse panel in the glove box if it's the same as a '91. drove me crazy. had to remove the glove box compartment to get my arm up in there to remove it. .

AnswerOn the pass. side beside the glove box (when open) there is the fuse box. above or beside the fuse box is the relays for the turn & hazard signals.

You may have to remove the glove compartment all the way over to the ash tray that whole assembly comes out look up where the glove compartment used to be. You will see the relays. Use your owners manual it will point you to the flasher relay.

If your turn signal is not flashing, replacing the flasher or relay might not fix it. Especially if one side flashes and the other doesn't, there is probably a short or corroded wire somewhere in the circuit. Refer to a wiring diagram to test with a test light. Good Luck.

If only one turn signal is the problem and it is flashing really fast, it's a bulb. If neither works and the fuse is okay, if the 1990 is like my 1991 you can't see the relays. Once you've removed the dash from glove box to ashtray, look above the fuse block and follow the red wires. Reach above the wires and then feel downwards toward the back of the car. The relays are installed by being pushed down and are not visible. Again, if like my 1991, the owner's manual says you can push the relay block up and out and drop it down for easier access. Hope this saves the hours of frustration I spent thinking the relays were installed front to back or upwards and were visible.

Where is the starter located on a 1992 Dodge Dynasty?

Why the daytime lights auto door locks and speedometer do not work on a 1990 Dodge Dynasty?

Okay, I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I have had the same problem. As far as the auto door locks go, check your fuses. The auto door locks are on the same fuse as the lighter and horn. I went to use my lighter one day, and it blew the fuse. My door locks, horn, and lighter would not work. I didn't know this until after I replaced the fuse several times (and finally hearing a popping sound when I went to use the lighter).

As far as the daytime running lights go, I really have no advice. There are a few others who have asked the same question here... Just browse through the questions and you should find the answer.

The speedometer may be a bit tricky. Either the gage itself is bad, or you may have problems behind the dash... Again, others have asked a similar question, so just browse through the questions and you should find an answer.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

How to change tension pulley on a 93 dodge dynasty?

I HAD TO REPLACE MY SERPENTINE BELT BUT ENDED UP HAVING A MECHANIC DO IT FOR ME AND AT THE SAME TIME HE SAID THAT IT TOOK A SPECIAL TOOL TO REMOVE THE TENSION PULLY. THE TENSION SPRING ON THE PULLY HAD FROZEN.

Ive replaced both the tensioner pulley and tensioner assembly on my 90 Dynasty 3.3 there are no special tools required its a 15mm both for both the pulley and assembly, tho there is a bit of patience required as neither is very easy to get to but its not terribly diffcult

How do you know if you have to much oil in your car?

Use the dipstick. If the oil line is over the line that says something like MAX. you have too much. In any case, it will usually blow a lot of the excess out of the crankcase breather and oil will be all over that side of the engine and engine compartment.

Fuel leaking out of line on top of engine on my dodge dynasty?

sounds like the fuel pressure regulator, the one on my Buick was bad & the gas was leaking from it

could be an injector o-ring on the fuel rail, just had this problem with 2 injectors on my 90 3.3L Dynasty LE simple fix actually if your even a little mechanically inclined, its 2, 13mm bolts to lift up the fuel rail and a 3dollar o-ring kit to replace them

Could also be that the rail will need replaced.

Can you show you where the flasher fuse goes on a 1992 Dodge Dynasty can't find it Thanks?

See the answer to the flasher question below. I believe it's a circuit breaker and on the same block as the flasher.

1991 Dodge Dynasty has no stop lights no turn signals no flashers All the fuses are good Any suggestions?

Dodge Dynasty overheats fan doesn't come on is it a fuse or sensor bad where is the best area to check first?

Engine overheats When a car or truck overheats idling, in town, on the highway, while towing, etc. it is important to find out the reason to prevent engine damage. First, with the engine cold, make sure the radiator is full of coolant; if it is low, fill it and keep the radiator cap off while the engine idles to insure all air is bled out of the system ( air trapped in the system can cause overheating also). Check the coolant level daily; if the coolant goes down without visible leaks, it may be a head gasket starting to leak which will also cause the heater to blow cold air due to the lack of available coolant. If the coolant stays full, but the car continues to overheat, the next step is to replace the thermostat in the engine and flush the cooling system if that has not been done over the last few years.Buy a thermostat at a parts store and a PRESTONE flush kit which has excellent directions on the package. After completing these steps and the vehicle still overheats, have your cooling fan sensor/switch ( if equipped)checked out to insure it is coming on. Water pumps are seldom the cause as they are mechanical and will continue to work until their bearings give out. Finally, the radiator itself is often the problem as it tends to build up corrosion internally which prevents it from transfering engine heat to the coolant. Remove it and have it 're-cored'. One of these steps will solve the problem.

What does a 1996 dodge dynasty look like?

How do you remove the fuel filler tube from an '85 LeBaron convertible turbo car's fuel tank?

If it is like my 94 Lebaron you must remove the right rear tire. Then unscrew the fuel tube,in the gas cap area, and then you must lower the gas tank. You pull the fuel tube out of the tank. It has a rubber gromet so you need to twist the tube until you pull it out- about 8 inches is in the tank. Good luck.

Where is the flasher located in a '91 Dodge Dynasty?

behind the glove box to the left if your facing the windshield. I had to drop the glove box door out of the way, take the plastic stuff off on the inside . there are 2 flashers on my 1990 one for left / right

1991 dodge dynasty replace a power steering pump?

I have a 1990 3.0 I don't know if it is the same engine and if it has the same layout as mine but I hope that it helps you. First take belt off a/c. Then take the serpentine belt off. Pull off alternator, a/c compressor and bracket. Take lines off power steering pump. Catch fluid in pan and discard at a place that takes it for disposal. Then take the " L " shape bracket off the back of the power steering pump. Take the two bolts off the front of it. Let it set for right now. Take the belt tensioners for the serpentine belt and the a/c off. Next support the engine with a jack. Now take all the bolts out for the motor mount going into the engine. Then take the two bolts out on the frame rail. Pull on the motor mount towards the frame rail. Move to the side. If you can pull the pulley off the power steering pump where it is setting. You can pull the pump up through the top. If not (like I couldn't) take the pump and turn it so the dipstick hole is pointing down and kind of like behind the crankshaft pulley and the pulley for the pump is in front of it. Push it down to wedge it in place. Then grab the motor and pull it to the front of the car. Pull hard. the pump should fall out. Take pulley off and anything that as to go on the new pump. But leave the pulley off. Put the pump in from the top side. Then put the pulley on the pump. Then reinstall everything. That is how I remove and install my pump.
