How do you fix a snowblower flat tire?
Okay in order to answere this question accurately one must first know if the tire being repaired is a tubeless tire or a tube type....look at the tire valve...is it sealed into the rim??? If it is then it is a tubeless tire and the hole can be repaired with a plug type repair, air up the tire locate the leak and from an auto parts store purchase a tubeless tire repair kit follow the instructions on how to plug the leak(remember if the hole is too large replace the tire with a new one of the same size. If the tire has a tube....you must find a way to break down the tire and remove the tube in order to find the leak, by airing the tube up in order to locate the hole and patch it, buy a tube tire repair patch kit at an auto parts store and follow directions on patching the hole in the tube, reinstall tire and tube. If the tube is ripped too badly replace the tube with a new one of the same size always be sure to check that there is no nail, etc. inside the tire before replacing or repairing the tube. Air up tire according to manufacturer's specs.

When should you check your tire pressure?
Some professional drivers are required to check their tire pressure every day. This is a good practice even for a casual driver. It is a good habit to visually check your tires every time you drive by making a quick walk around the vehicle and use a pressure guage if any tire appears to be less inflated than the others, or show any unusual change. Also if you notice your car handles differently, pulling to one side or the other or tending to sway when you change lanes you might have lost pressure on one tire. Every 250 miles or weekly when filling up on gas is also a good practice. Periodic inspection of your tires may spare you the inconvenience of being stranded with a flat tire. It can also provide you with vital information about your steering and suspension so problems can be addressed before major damage occurs.

What is the recommended tire pressure for a 2004 alero?
look on the rear portion of the drivers door when opened most likely on the bottom of the inside or on the "pillar" where it meets that area when closed. there's usually a little label with specifications printed on it. it should state the number followed by 3 letters "P.S.I." in a small section of said label. it'll also say "front" or "back". If it's not there, try a similar area on vehicle or (hopefully) if you've still got the manual, check the index for tire pressures. If none of this works,go to a general motors dealership service department and either ask for assistance or possibly purchase a manual from them. It shouldn't cost you to have your pressures checked by them either. One more option is a tire service outlet. Personally, I would have done it for ya for free! Good Luck!
Tire air pressure? Listen to what Pirelli Tire's Limited Warranty has to say about it. Recommended tire inflation pressures for your vehicle can be found either in your vehicle owner's manual or your vehicle's tire placard or in the manufacturer's data book. Correct pressures are related to loads, speeds and vehicle handling and are vital for even braking, maximum traction and good tire life. Under no circumstances should your tire's cold inflation pressure be less than that indicated in your vehicle owner's manual or on your vehicle's tire placard or higher than the maximum cold inflation pressure molded onto the tire's sidewall. Under-inflation causes excessive flexing, deterioration of the tire and rapid wear of the tread edges. Over-inflation results in an uncomfortable ride, a reduced area of tire contact with the road surface (i.e. smaller tire footprint), higher susceptibility to impact damage and rapid wear on the tread center. Inflation pressure must be checked at least once a month and should be checked only when the tire is cold or before it has been driven. Driving even a short distance (1 mile or 2 to 3 minutes) causes tires to heat up and the pressure to increase approximately 4 p.s.i. In case it is necessary to adjust the air pressure in the tires that have been driven, the air pressure should be increased to a guage reading of 4 p.s.i. high than the recommended cold inflation pressure. For example only:Gauge reading of hot tire 27 p.s.i. Recommended cold inflation pressure 26 p.s.i. Desired guage reading of hot tire 26 p.s.i. + 4 p.s.i. = 30 p.s.i. Therefore add 3 p.s.i. Check cold inflation pressure on tires, at least by the next day. never reduce or "bleed" air from hot tires since your tires will then be under-inflated when they cool down.Always use a reliable pressure gauge. SAFETY FIRST!
