Where would you find a free diagram that shows the correct order of plug wires to distributor for a 1994 Cadillac DeVille?

You Can get that from a Repair manual. If you go to the local library they probably have one. You may try Autozone and they may be able to give you the info ,if not they will sell you a inexpensive repair manual. I'm pretty sure you have a 4.9ltr engine for reference. Its called firing order. You will need to take the cap off and make sure the rotor is pointing to number one. The manual will reference this for you and show you which one on the cap is #1

Where is the transmission fluid fill cap on an Econoline 350 Superduty diesel van?

I have a 1989 e-150 van- 4.9 6 cyl. These vans do not change much from model to model and year to year. Your 350 dipstick should be in the same position as the 150. To get at the dipstick you must partially remove the air filter compartment. Let's assume you are standing in front of the van facing the engine compartment. - lossen the 2 clamps on the right of the air filter and disconnect the 2 hoses. - disconnect the hose going over the top of the air filter. - pull the air filter compartment up slightly and disconnect the plastic air intake on the left of the air filter from the air filter compartment. - now, look into the space behind where the air intake was (slightly toward your left). You should see the white cap of the transmission filler. It's pretty well hidden and you may need a flashlight to locate it. Pull the dipstick out. Its about 3 feet long. FYI - this is were you would add fluid. Also, you should check the level with the engine running and temp above 50 degrees.

How do you add two 6x9 speakers to the rear doors of a 2008 ford E250?

I just added Rockford Fosgate T1692C 6X9's to a 1999 Ford Econoline E150. I thought I would have to use 6X8's because I didn't want to cut up the door. I had a set of 6X9's that I was using in the middle speakers (I have 6 speakers in my van). I used one of them to see if I could put 6X9's in the rear door. Like I said, I didn't think that the 6X9's would fit in the metal hole. Well, I mounted the 6X9's on the outside of the door panel and I only took my Dremel tool and ground out the inside of the wooden door panel. I mounted the 6X9's on the outside of the wooden panel and on the outside of the padding on the door, which was there because I have a conversion van, and between the wood and the padding, it held the speaker out far enough so that the hole in the metal was large enough because the 6X9's taper down from the front to the rear. That gave it enough room so that the hole was large enough for the speaker to fit in the metal hole and, like I said, I DID have to grind out the hole in wooden door panel. I found your question while I was looking for a way to get my FRONT door panels off because I have a set of Rockford Fosgate T1682's 6X8's to install in the front. I thought I was going to have to install 6X8's all around but I really didn't want to because none of them, except MTX, come with grills and I wanted to switch the grills in my van. I didn't know it would be as easy as it was. Now, that being said, the 6X8 in the side doors CAN NOT be switched to 6X9 because there is a metal bar in front of the speaker UNLESS that is just there because my side doors are set up with mechanical opening devices because I'm a paraplegic and there is a wheelchair lift on the sides so I don't know if all vans have that metal bar or not but if there's no metal bar in front of the speaker, then they can probably have 6X9's in there too. I just put the speakers in the door last night so I do know what I'm talking about. I hope this helped you out. If you have any questions, you can contact me (I am logged in so it will give my email address) and my name is Tom. Your vehicle is newer and it's the 3/4 ton rather than the 1/2 ton but I think that the same things may apply. The way you can check is just pull the rear door panels off, and see if the 6X9's you are using taper down enough, which they ALL taper, to see if they will fit in the metal hole in the door after being mounted in the door. The speakers you currently have are probably screwed into the the metal so that's why the hole is the size it is and that's why I say if you screw the 6X9's to the front of the door with the grill over them will work just fine. Personally, mine look beautiful and they fit perfectly, but as I mentioned, if you have any problems that I can help with, don't hesitate to contact me.

How do you install a blower motor on a 2001 e250 Ford van?

Very easy. Take battery out. Disconnect positive 1st then negative. Then take the connector for the blower motor aloose from the motor (be careful not to break connector). Take and get you a small rachet with some small sockets and I believe there are 4 small screws you have to take out might be 6. Take them out and you should be able to pull the old one right out. Put the new one in and there are nipples on the sides so you cant mess it up putting it back in. It only goes a certain way. Put the bolts back in, plug your connector back up, put your battery back in (hook negative back up first then positive) tighten down good also. Then get in fire it up and feel the breeze!

What could cause a rough hesitation when shifting while on the interstate?

I assume you are talking about an automatic trans? If so, it doesn't sound good. Have you serviced trans lately? Sometimes brand new fluid can cause old trans to slip. Auto trans are complicated animals. Don't take it to one of those AAmco type places unless you want to spend a small fortune. The only trustworthy place I know is David Colbath Trans but that is in San Antonio, Texas. Ask your regular mechanic first, someone you trust. Good Luck! I had 2 identical Geos with the same problem. Turned out to be weak fuel pumps. Check your fuel pressure

Where is the horn located on a 1999 Mazda 626?

Hello I just brought a 199 Mazda 626 and the horn is not working, after some research I found the horns. There is one behind each of the turn signal lights. You just need to pop the hood remove a screw on the top of the asembly and slide the asembly forward to remove it. By the way if any one can help me with my horn problem I'll apreciate it. after I found the horns I discover that the right one was diconected but arter I plugged back in the horn went off continiuslly non stop until I pulled off the harnes. No wonder was disconected, the sound was only coming from the right one. So I removed the horn relay mean while I figure out whats wrong, I tried to check the horn button underneath the the stearing wheel cover to see if the button was stuck but I saw that the air bag is mounted inside the cover and I don't want to mess it up. Any ideas whats is wrong with mi horn? I need to get it fix before the next state inspection is due and my wife demands to get it fix. she's an angry driver, she will honk on you even if you changed lines without signal :p

Test the horn switch by having someone listen to the relay next to the fuse box under the hood (drivers side). With the horns disconnected, have someone press the horn switch (honk the horn). If the relay is working you will hear it click. Otherwise, the relay is either stuck closed (horn will sound continuously) or not working. If the relay doesn't click, you either have a bad relay or the horn switch is bad.

How do you replace oil filter housing in a 1998 ford expedition?

How to Change Your Motor Oil Introduction Plan to change your motor oil every 3,000 miles or every 3 months if you want to be on the safe side, but know that most cars no longer require an oil change after every 3,000 miles. You will not damage the engine by letting it run 4,000 miles in between oil changes. However, if you've been driving in very hot and/or dusty conditions you should stick to the 3,000 mile schedule, or even more frequent changes. Instructions Difficulty: Moderately Challenging Getting Ready Things You'll Need · Old Rags · Ratchet Sets · Car Jacks · New Oil Filters · Car Manuals · Funnels · Oil Drain Pans · Oil Filter Wrenches · Plastic Containers · Jack Stands · Rubber Gloves · Socket Sets · 4 - 5 quarts motor oil · Car Creepers Steps Step One Gather necessary tools and materials (refer to Necessary Items list). If you plan to change your oil regularly, consider investing in jack stands, a socket set and an oil drain pan. Step Two Run the car's engine for 10 minutes before you drain the oil. Warm oil drains faster than cold oil. Step Three Park the car on a level surface, engage the parking brake and turn off the engine. If your car has a low clearance, raise it by driving it onto a ramp or by jacking it up and supporting it securely. Step Four Open the hood and place the new oil and funnel on top of the engine to ensure that you won't forget to add oil afterwards (an expensive mistake that many do-it-yourselfers make!). Tips & Warnings · Consult your owner's manual or an automotive parts specialist to find out the weight of oil and type of oil filter your car needs. · You'll need the year, make, model and mileage of your car if you go to an auto parts store. · Make sure the car is securely supported before you crawl underneath. · You will need two jack stands to support the front of your car after jacking it up. Never get under a car that is supported only by a jack! A pair of jack stands costs less than $20. Draining the Oil and Changing the Oil Filter Steps Step One Crawl under the car once it is securely supported. Step Two Locate the oil drain plug on the underside of the engine, usually near the front center of the car. Consult your owner's manual for the exact location. Step Three Place the oil drain pan under the plug and loosen the plug with a socket wrench. Remember: turn counterclockwise to remove bolts. Step Four Remove the plug by hand. Be prepared for the rush of hot oil! Step Five Let the oil drain into the pan. Hold onto the plug. Step SixReposition the pan, if necessary, to catch all the dripping oil. Step Seven Wipe off the drain plug and the plug opening when the oil finishes draining. Step Eight Replace the drain plug gasket. Step Nine Reinstall the plug. Always start threading any bolts or screws by hand to prevent cross threading. Step Ten Tighten with a wrench or socket. Be careful not to overtighten the plug. Step Eleven Locate the existing oil filter. Oil filters are usually on the side of the engine. Step Twelve Position the oil pan underneath the filter to catch any remaining oil. Step Thirteen Use an adjustable oil filter wrench to unscrew the old oil filter. Step Fourteen Use a rag to wipe the area where the filter mounts to the engine. Make sure the rubber seal of the old filter is not stuck to the engine. 15 Step Fifteen

Use some new oil to lightly coat the rubber seal of the new filter. Step Sixteen Screw the new filter into place by hand. It's usually not necessary to tighten the oil filter with the oil filter wrench, but have it at the ready if you're grip's not strong (or large) enough. Tips & Warnings · Wear gloves to remove the plug if it's hot. · It's always best to replace the oil drain plug gasket. · Use the right size wrench or socket. Don't use an adjustable wrench: you can strip the bolt. · Handle hot automotive oil with extreme care. · Be careful when removing the old oil filter. It's full of oil. Installing New Oil and Cleaning Up Steps Step One Locate the oil filler cap on top of the engine. Remove it. Step Two Place the funnel in the opening and pour in the new oil. Typically, you will use 4 to 5 quarts of oil. Check your manual for the correct oil capacity. Step Three Replace the cap when you're finished. Step FourRun the engine for a minute, then check the dipstick. Add more oil if necessary. Step Five Check the area around the oil drain plug and the filter for oil leaks. Tighten the plug or oil filter if you find leakage. Step Six Use rags and newspapers to wipe away excess oil. Step Seven Pour the used oil into a plastic container after the used oil cools. Step EightDispose the used oil properly: either bring it to a recycling center or an auto repair shop that can recycle it for you. Don't pour it down the sewer! Tips & Warnings · Record the date and mileage after you change the oil so you will know when your car is due for another oil change. It helps to put a small sticker on your windshield to remind you. · Handle hot motor oil with extreme caution. · Only dispose of used motor oil and filters at authorized locations.
