The Tolt is a type of ambling gait, many horses amble, but each does it slightly different. The Tolt itself is very comparable to the rack , Largo, or running walk preformed by other breeds. Each breed registry/association calls their horses gaits (Extra easy gaits not standard gaits of walk, trot, canter.) Something different to distinguish it from other breeds.
How do you take care of a foal after it is born?
You don't have to take care of it! The mother will take care of everything until it learns how to walk properly! If the foal has no mother then take it to a special vet. That is all. Just make sure it drinks from the mother if not ask a vet for mothers milk.

How do you stop a Dodge 2001 Cummins from heating up while pulling a load?
How is it heating up, water temp or exaust temp? If it is water check coolant, turn off A/C and gear down. If you have a pyrometer gauge installed you can moitor exaust temp. It is a very good idea to have one if truck is chiped. To cool exaust down I recommend at least a 4" exaust from turbo back and a cold air intake. That should drop EGTs (exaust gas temp.) 200-400 degrees lower than stock system. If Pyro prob is located before the turbo it will read more accurate, 1400 Deg. F is the hottest you should ever get it, then back out of the throttle or gear down.
What bit can you use on a extremely strong 13.3hh newforset gelding?
I wanted to put a discription in with my question but it wouldn't let me. Soo...
My pony is 13.3hh newforsest gelding who on open land is practically unstoppable. In the school he is snaffle mouthed but when he gets spooked or excited he goes into super strong mode and is difficult to handle.
I've tried a martaingale he just sticks his head down and leans... I've tried a flash, a drop nose band, a grackle and a kinton....
I then turned to bits. I've tried... Loose ring snaffle, loose ring french link snaffle, eggbut snaffle, eggbut french link snaffle, a dutch gag, a french link dutch gag, a fulmer, a full cheek copper roller, a pelham, a kimblewick, a full cheek waterford and a half cheek snaffle... Proberly a few more that I can't think off the top my head.. None of these work not even nosebands... I'm to affraid to go out cantering with other people incase they fall off or their horse messes around and I can't stop!
Other then this he's a star... So advice please?!
I don't know that a stronger bit is your answer. I had an arab x pony that, when he wanted to, had a mouth like a block of concrete, he was usually ridden in a snaffle, but I wound up trying all types of bits with no success. Using a stronger and stronger bit could just make the horse resentful. It sounds like he needs some re-education or you could try a hackamore.
With my pony I started riding him in just a halter and lead rope and found that he was very responsive. Each horse is different.
Good luck with him.
I had the same problem several years ago, the dealer said that the throttle body was warped and replaced it at no cost.

Whats wrong with a Chev Cavalier that has trouble backing up when going uphill from a dead stop?
Weak transmission pump? Try changing fluid and filter
First do a sitting trot, then squeeze the horse into a canter. Make sure to keep your heels down, shoulders back and push into the saddle.
Keep your heels down and relax into the saddle. Let your hips go with the movement of the horse (don't worry too much about bouncing at first). Don't drop your contact as you go into canter, and don't rest your hands on the horse's neck. Keep your elbows in and pretend you are carrying a tray. Keep your hands still so you don't jab your horse in the mouth. Keep your shoulders back and don't use the reins to balance yourself. Squeeze gently with your legs to keep the horse in canter. Make sure you're not still rising to the trot as you are asking for canter. Don't grip with your knees. Have some lunge lessons to help perfect your seat, the better your balance, the easier you will find it to sit to the canter. It sounds loads, so concentrate on a bit each lesson. I promise you it will come!
Shorten up your reins, and make sure you have a good forward trot. Sit to the trot and put your inside leg on the girth and outside leg just behind the girth and squeeze with your legs. If your horse/pony is well trained he/she should canter.
All of the above seems pretty accurate. To avoid bouncing around when you're in the canter, relaxation is key. Allow your arms to follow the movement of the horses neck. Relax your lower body. Allow your seat to follow the rocking motion of the canter. One helpful trick is to pretend you're polishing the saddle with your seat, but don't try to force this motion, just allow yourself to follow the horse's movement. Also, you probably already no this, but you can canter a horse from a walk. Sometimes this is easier than a sitting trot, because you don't bounce around as much. At a walk, do a half halt and ask for the canter. The idea of the half halt is to allow your horse to get collected and ready for the transition. The transition is easiest either when approaching the corner in a ring or riding in a circle.
What is the difference between direct reining and neck reining?
Neck reining is when you hold the reins with one hand and you pull the reins on the side of the neck you want to go. Direct reining is when you pull the rein of the side you want to go. You actually pull the horses head in the direction you want to go.
This is a tough one. I would suggest having a equine vet, dentist and trainer have a look at the pony first to see if there is anything causing him discomfort. After that a strong type of snaffle or even a curb bit might be in order. Some people use Waterford bits to prevent the horse from being able to lean on the bit and get strong with them.
Should a horse show in both hunt and saddle seat disciplines?
Well here in the USA hunt seat and saddle seat are two very different styles of riding and would require a horse to be retrained to show in one or the other. Hunt or hunter riding is designed for horses with long low flowing gaits that may or may not jump depending on which classes they show in. Saddle Seat is aimed at highly animated horses such as Saddlebreds and National Show horses that have a high knee action. The riders sit farther back on the horse and keep their legs off the horses side and tend to ride from the hand a bit more. There is no jumping in Saddle seat.
How do you stop screeching noise on 1998 Ford Explorer only when backing up?
if screeching only when backing up, it sounds like you have a problem in reverse gear in transmission or you have a problem with loose pinion in differential
Have them re-check timing belt adjustment. Have them also check front differential. I had similar problem.
Most likely your throttle plate is dirty and needs to be cleaned That is the first step The next step would be to check your Idle Air Control motor. The third step would be to check your coolant temp sensor as this can cause to rich or lean a condition and mess up your idle
