There is some evidence that amateur SWL operators (receiving only) intercepted NASA communications dealing with Astronauts sighting UFO"s from space craft. The once-popular Ham radio magazines (on the general newstand market) plugged upcoming space shots with some gusto in the late sixties- (Apollo the ultimate DX ( distance reception)) was a frequent cover story with a picture of a space capsule.The subject occasionally flares up in UFO publications, rarely seen on the newstands or magazine stores.

I saw this answer and it is partly wrong, to be more precise the Whig Party was not very stable and was always seemingly on the verge of dissolving. There were "cotton" whigs and "Conscience" whigs. Cotton whigs were obviously southern and approved of slavery. The Conscience whigs were not a large part of the Whig party (they were from Mass. I believe) , but the majority of Whigs were for slavery. The Conscience Whigs formed the Free Soil Party after Zachary Tyler was nominated for the Whig party (he was a slave owner) and that showed how easily parties could split. A good example of a anti-slavery president who turned Whig (the party was not around yet)was John Quincy Adams. Being rich would not have made you a pro-slavery advocate if you want to dumb it down that way then it would be more correct to say being southern would have made you pro-slavery right? Wrong most southerners did not own slaves. Generalizations stir the pot and create turmoil.
PS: Lincoln was a Republican (the Republican party came from the Whig party)which is kind of weird how a mostly pro slavery party can evolve and elect a Man who ends up fighting a war to abolish it! Yes, I believe the Civil was fought over slavery and state rights, because obviously the federal government telling a state they can not have the institution of slavery is impeding on their rights ( a PR move by Southern sates to invoke southern pride).

One could then say that animals behave according to instinct and "primordial urges", and perhaps a degree of reasoning and pattern-seeking, until they gradually develop self-awareness. This happens individually, as the maturing mind attempts to grasp its own existence, in early childhood in humans. It is not known whether species like chimpanzees have "beliefs", as they cannot express themselves, but seemingly superstitious behavior has been observed in many species of animal.
Organized religion probably developed about the time the first cities formed, approximately 8-10,000 years ago, when humans began interacting and communicating more complex ideas much more frequently, sharing their individual beliefs. Fear and superstition.

Where you can get a list of Cars that are built in Japan but are sold in US?
I am also looking for this list as you are. I have not found a "list of cars built in Japan", but the very first character of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) designates "Country of Origin". Not sure how these were determined as "1 thru 4" means USA; "J" indicates that the vehicle was built in Japan. New cars are required to have stickers listing "% of parts by country of origin" and "country built". Currently searching internet inventories for a new car, I was surprised to see that most Hondas and Toyotas had 1, 2, 3 or 4...built in USA. Confusion starts as I am finding 2009 Corollas with numbers (USA) and J (Japan). I'm considering a 2009 "J" Corolla if I can find one I like. It looks like J Toyotas are dwindling in the USA except for RAV4s. I have not found a Corolla S yet with a J VIN...just USA numbers. I've check individual car specification on Yahoo and there's a part that say where the car manufacturer origin is and it will specify the country where it is assembled . i've checked that Mazda 3 , MPV5 and Honda S2000, are still manufactured in Japan and shipped here in USA .

Racism can cause disputes between people and groups who express the belief that race SHOULD be a factor in decisions outside the household (racists) and those who express the belief that race should never be a factor in decisions outside the household.
Worse, of course, is when governments - with the legitimate power to tax and to compel - express the belief that race should be a factor in government decisions.
The fact of the matter is that every single person who has ever lived, who lives now, and who will ever live on this planet is racist. Racism is simply the recognition of outward differences. What one does with that racism is another matter; however, racism causes nothing.
This is not to say that racism is not an element of some bad decisions. On the contrary, it has been a base element of some very bad decisions. It is however not the source. Blaming racism for anything is like saying, "The Devil made me do it." Simply just not the case.
Racism can cause the senseless killing of innocent people. It can be used to perpetuate political oppression of minority groups. It can cause one group to attempt to dominate another group. It can cause social and economic oppression. It can foster rigid ideological and radical religious thinking. It causes senseless hatred among groups and divides people.
Where should you look for UFO's?
1) Google Earth. Supposedly a few sightings have been made online.
2) Away from Airports or Military bases. Many reports near these areas turn
out to be I.F.O's (Identified Flying Objects) like Airplanes, Helicopters or even
Experimental or Classified Military Craft.
3) Away from City Lights. Anywhere you would go Star Gazing away from trees,
city lights or any other large buildings or objects that would ubstruct the sky.
4) At night. Or Day, doesnt matter really I dont think, I prefer night time.
5) Check out HotSpots of UFO sightings near where you live and go UFO
hunting in that area. Just Google 'UFO Hotspots "MY TOWN" '
There is a map online you can check and a list of top 100 hotspots (USA).
6) Check a UFO reporting Center (many post sightings online) and go to a
place where there has been a recent sighting in your area.
7) Outside. Unless your at an Observatory, being inside a building limits you to
what you can see from the windows.
8) Building Top/Roof etc. Some people have actually built towers specifically
for observing UFO's, there is a UFO Tower in Colorado.
9) The Sky. Obviously, but always keep your eyes on the skies and even the
horizon.
10) Famous location. Some people will travel hundreds of miles where a
famous or well known sighting or sightings have occured in hopes of catching
glimpse a Flying Saucer from another world. The 'Devils Tower' in Wyoming
is a particular favorite although it was actually popularized by Speilbergs movie.
Finding UFOsIf you mean flying saucers, or alien space ships, try a book or a movie theater because such things don't really exist. If you mean a flying object which you can not identify but it would be fun to research and figure out what it was, look in the sky. That's where a UFO allegedly crashed in about 1947. I'm guessing another good place to observe UFO's would be outside of the so-called Area 51, a secret US military base somewhere in the USA, probably near Roswell, New Mexico. I think a TV show about UFO's said Area 51 is located where there's frequent sightings of UFO's, enabling the military staff to watch UFO's and retrieve and store the debris if any UFO crashes to Earth. Another TV show said there's frequent sightings of UFO's in Mexico.

Land and air space surrounding the facility is extremely restricted and heavily monitored. The closest view of the facility by land is from the top of Tikaboo Peak, 26 miles to the east. It is possible that you may see experimental aircraft flying in the area that can not be readily identified, so these would fit the definition of a UFO to most observers.UFO`s find you!
