The transmission control module should be located under the dash below the storage compartment that is located just below the glove box. Take the lower dash trim panel off, and It will either be attached to the trim panel, or located behind it. Either way, it's much easier to get to if you take off the lower panel.

hey, you just gotta drain your brake fluid, unscrew the two bolts holdin it to the tranny plus the on to the engager, the thing comming out of the tranny, put your new one on, then bleed it(just like bleedin your brakes), i had my slave go out in the middle of nowhere and i got my uncle to show me how to do it, hope this was any help at all,

Just changing this answer a little. There is no need to drain the brake fluid before removing your old cylinder. It will only drip a few times once removed, but bleeding the valve afterwards is still needed.
It is the base model. It will have a Dana 35 rear and Dana 30 front axle with anti-spin and either 3.07 or 3.73 gears. Not a bad Jeep if you don't do much offroad driving. If you do or plan to the Rubicon will be a better package and you get HD Dana 44 axles with locking differentials. This is an out of the box offroader.

White smoke is uaully a sign of a blown head gasket, the seal between the engine block and the heads with the valves. When the gasket blows it leaves a gap so coolant gets into the combustion chamber and mixes with the fuel and apprears as white smoke. Check your coolant level and pull your dipstick and see if your oil is becoming foamy.

No, but the 4.0L straight 6 motor wont see any benefit, this motor works best on straight 30W Heavy Duty oil. It is basically a suped up tractor motor. Most can go 300k+ miles. So if you have the 4.0L save money on oil and buy Rotella and put your money into a better oil filter. So if your oil pressure drops to 0 at idle its probably a Fram or other cheap oil filter.
