Behind the exhaust manifold.

The knock sensor is on the right side of the motor on the block .It runs under the manafold.I can not get the retaining clip off.MIKE

the glow plugs are situated on the rear of the engine above exhaust manifold at a 60% angle took some time to find mine but they are there

AFAIK kia Sportage doesn't have any sparkplug at all since its a diesel. probably your asking for the glow plug which also heats the engine prior to starting the engine.

Chances are when a brake caliper wont compress it is the type that must be turned and compressed at the same time and requires a special tool that you can borrow from a local chain auto parts like Auto Zone. That was the case on my 96 Buick Riveria rear disk brakes. Hope this helps.

Press the setup key and then press the 3 key. Turn the tune knob to change the hours then press the tune knob to access the minutes. Turn the tune knob to adjust the minutes.

I would suggest you use the "New Formula" Mobil1 Syth ATF available at Wal-mart for ~$6 qt. It lists fully compiable with Kia SP-III on the bottle and is a far better fluid than the OEM fluid. If you are doing a trans service yourself, just do a full drain and fill (3x) and use the new Mobil1 fluid each time you top off the exact amount you drained out. Remember to drive around (up to highway speeds) between drain and fills to better remove the old fluid concentration. You will be greatly pleased with the shift quality you get. To best get this result you can also remove for 10 min the fuse in the underhood fuse block to reset the transmission computer which "remembers" the driving style and shift points (after the third drain and fill). With the new fluid, you want the computer to "relearn" with the new fluid installed. Good luck.

its all about personal preference, chryslers had a very bad rep for crapping out they smoke every since they have stuff to do with Mitsubishi they havent been very good because you get the Mitsubishi engine with the Chrysler trans, needless to say miysubishi sucks

If you are locking your car before trying to take off the cap, this is the problem. The cap won't come off if the car is locked.

The first thing I would try is take the battery cables off for about 30 min. This should reset everything. Also check the fuse for the radio. You might want to go to your local part store and have them hook their computer up to see if it reads any fault codes... The mass air flow sensor could have stop working properly due to crossing of the battery cables... We have a Advance Auto parts that checks your car with their computer for free. First make sure it is the fuse that's gone! There are loads of reasons why the washers are apparently not working. Check the hoses (water tubes) are not frozen, blocked or even detached. You haven't run out of washer fluid have you? Listen for the sound of the pump; if you can hear it, then the fuse isn't the problem. If there's no sound and the hoses are OK, it could well be the fuse. Look in the vehicle's handbook for the location of the fuse. In my Peugeot 307 it was under the bonnet. Once I'd found out which fuse it was, it took about 2 mins to replace the blown one with the spare that Peugeot had kindly supplied in the glove box! If you replace the fuse and there's still no joy, it could be the pump that's died. Apparently, replacements can be obtained cheaply from breakers' yards. Good luck!

If you are talking about the car brand, YES! stick to the 2006 and newer models, they are light years apart from their older siblings. Quality is awesome , but, as with American cars, customer perception is everything and its gonna be a while before customers realize the great cars you can get for the price . What's their edge over the domestics?? purchase price, gas mileage to horsepower, styling, fit and finish. Il love my country but Ill buy an Optima over a Malibu,Impala, Fusion, G6 or the godawfull Sebring.

yes it has a cambelt, and should be changed every 60,000mls.

2005 models and earlier had a timing belt.

2006 models and newer have a timing chain.

call a parts store and give them your VIN number (vehicle indenifaction number) and they can tell you. some cars you can find them on the drvers side door. when you open look closest too where the door latches.
