Leopards (also sometimes referred to as 'panthers' along with jaguars and mountain lions) can currently be found in sub-Saharan Africa, Indochina, Sri Lanka, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and parts of the Indian subcontinent, with largest population being found in sub-Saharan Africa. If black panthers are seen in cartoons then why isn't a black panther a real species?
Black panthers are real!
However they are only a subspecies within the same species as leopards (they can successfully interbreed). The only difference is fur color: leopards have black spots on a tan background, black panthers have black spots on a black background (so you are unable to identify the spots).
My sunroof on my 99 Plymouth neon only budjes up then down?

I had a similar problem with my neon. The track guides are very fragile and break often. There is just a wire cord that pushes and pulls on the guide to open and close the sunroof and the attachment breaks easily. the only fix is to replace the guide. Are there panthers in Louisiana?
Wildlife & Fisheries would say no, but I live in Southwest Louisiana & I have seen black panthers twice in my lifetime, so yes they do live in Louisiana, although there may not be a lot of them or they may not be seen often. Both sightings I saw were near heavily wooded areas. One sighting was around dusk when I was a child at a friend's home who had lived in the country with thick woods behind her home, but my friend & I were the only ones who got to see it run through the back yard. And the other sighting, I was an adult, it was very late at night & we lived in a newly developing area that was still considered country area at that time, had thick woods across the street from our house and all around the neighborhood...I woke up because I had heard a noise, I walked towards the back sliding glass door & saw a black panther eating out of my dog's food bowl (as we used to feed the dog outside & stopped at this point), the panther looked up at me & was in very close range with only a glass door in between us, but I guess I startled the panther just as much as it did me, it made eye contact, & was gone just as fast. I did not know that people truly did not believe panthers live in Louisiana, or that it is common for people to report seeing these animals to authorities, maybe I would have reported it to someone then, that has been approximately 10-11 years ago. Maybe I will get some cameras to see what animals come around late at night while we all sleep.

I would try cleaning the IAC motor. You may have a sensor giving the ecm a bad reading causing an unwarranted adjustment to a high idle. A correct sensor contridicts that bad one, lowering it back down. Pukenstein@aol.com
Why does Pink Panther smoke cigarettes in some of his cartoons?
The Pink Panther cartoons are based on a character created for the cinematic opening of the film The Pink Panther, where the "Pink Panther" was a large, pinkish diamond that purportedly contained a flaw that, from a certain angle, resembled a "leaping panther."
The camera then zoomed into the diamond while going out of focus, and then refocusing on an (animated) character that looks similar to the Pink Panther of the later cartoons, but sitting on its haunches in a fashion that more resembled an actual cat... and smoking a cigarette in a cigarette holder. (At the time, this suggested "sophistication" ... hey, the movie was made in 1963, when smoking was still thought of as glamorous.)
The character was popular enough that a number of cartoon shorts were later made featuring a more anthropomorphic version, and a few of them retained the cigarette holder.

To keep your quilts clean and away from musty smells buy the plastic bags with a zipper or one with a small hole and cap on it and place your quilt inside, then use your vacuum cleaner and suck all the air out of it and seal it. It will be as fresh as a daisy when you take it back out. All you'll need to do is put it in the dryer to flush it up. I just sent a nice quilt to an American friend of mine in Wisconsin and I put it in a smaller box (less expensive) and put the quilt in a plastic bag with sealer, sucked the air out and sent it. My friend put it in the dryer and it puffed right up. This is also a great idea for storing wedding dresses. In Canada it can cost you $80 - $150 to have a dry cleaners do the same thing you are doing at home.
