I just got a '99 300rx with some fuse issues. There are three fuse buses--2 under the hood and one by the left knee of the driver. The trick is that they hid the fuse box behind a pull out ashtray. It's easily removed, and then you can get to the fuse buss there. Good luck

I had the same problem. Going over 75 mph would almost feel like the car was going to blow up. The steering wheel would shake uncontrollably. I got an alignment, new tires and a balance and now the cars runs perfectly. So it may be one or all of the following... --balance/rotation --tires --alignment hope this helps.

Wow, what a chore you are about to get envolved with! You must remove almost all of your dash including the center. Next you will need to start removing the vents and other parts of your AC system under your dash. Your heater core is inside the front part of the blower box. First you must disconnect the hoses inside the engine compartment on the passenger side where they enter the fire wall. After you remove the entire black heater unit from under the dash you will be able to see the core just below the flap. You must carefully separate the blower box into its two halves to remove the core. The hardest parts are getting the new core back throught the fire wall (I enlarged one of the holes) and making sure your cables from you ac control are adjusted correctly. Sorry this is not a very technical discription.

I had this same problem and it took about an hour to find it. i have a 1994 Lexus es 300, i hope yours is around there . the engine is turned in a weird position but lets just say the part by you front bumper is the front. look under the exhaust manafold in the front and there shoudl be the oil filter right there. It was a pain to get off, we ended up using wide channel locks to take it off. but that dammaged it badly. so when putting the new one on just screw in and then your just going to have to tighten little by little with a oil filter tool. if you don't like that just take the exhaust manafodl off and you can just reach right in.

I just replaced mine and it's super easy. Get a pair of pliers. Get on the back seat and face the third brake light. With you hand, push the brake light assembly to the left, as far as it will slide. On the right of the brake light you will see a little groove in the carpet. This groove is for your finger to pop the light out, it pops out easily. Then unplug the electrical cord. Take the pliers and gently turn the plastic piece holding the bulb and it will come out of the plastic housing. Be careful when turning because it's plastic and you don't want to damage it. You may have enough strength in your finger to turn the plastic. After you turn and remove the plastic piece holding the bulb, you simply remove the bulb with your finger (it's a Toyota bulb). I took the bulb to the Toyota dealer for a replacement. After replacing the bulb and turning it's plastic holder back in the third brake light assembly, reconnect the electrical plug, then snap the assembly back in place. If you have the bulb ready, you can complete the whole job in 3 minutes. Good Luck!

Two speed sensors on a 1999 rx300 .One is located under air filter box,remove air filter box and sensor in located there,the other sensor in at a 45 degree angle on the transmission just behind the battery,remove the battery and tray to get better access.The sensors have the same part number and are the same.

Lifetime warranty isn?t always the best part either. Fourthly, Each vehicle can have different options that will affect how long it takes to change a part or make it call for a different part. Such as heavy duty cooling system, air conditioning, 4x4?s may have a steel plate that may need removal, Automatic or manual transmission, the list goes on. Fifthly, What additional parts will be required? Long life coolant or standard coolant, R12 or R134a air conditioning freon if it needs to be discharged or replaced? Additional adapters other fluids that may need to be added or changed? All of this will affect price. Sixthly, is the car a new car or an older car? Labor manuals or guides are set up based on a new car. Additional time may be required due to seized or rusted bolts, additional aftermarket accessories that were installed etc. So you can see where there is a great potential for variances. I offer this insight: If you take it to an independent garage like I always recommend, consider how long they have been in business. What is the quality of there work, are they honest? Remove the light assy and turn the bulbs counterclockwise to remove them.

Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Sometimes there is an access panel on top. Open it and reach down inside and grab the bulb's socket. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fixture.

FOR 99' ES300 MODELS: You do not have to do the things mentioned above. The process is much easier and simpler. No need to even open the hood. All you have to do is pull the whole turn signal assembly forward. NOTE: It is important that you do NOT pull it sideways or even at an angle for it might break the plastic clip. There is only one clip holding the assembly from the frame. To start, use a screw driver or similar and insert it in the farthest part of the signal light assembly from the front. Pry gently to move the assembly forward about an inch or two to completely unlatch the plastic clip that is holding it in place. This clip is located in the middle of the assembly. Then remove the assembly still attached by the wires. Twist the lamp holder out of it's socket to replace the busted light.

It is behind the thermostat housing on the nose of the engine block. It is in line from right to left with the oil filler cap. There may be another air valve associated with the steering pump but it is not the "idle" air control valve (IACV).

Yes, it's on the passenger side under the glove box. There's a panel that comes down then a couple of wing nuts that have to be removed, then wiggle the filter out but remember the way it comes out so the new one goes in the same way.

Ive used multiple things in order to get a penny outta my car, paperclip, nail file, anything that will fit really, and 9 times out of 10 you ll blow a fuse, its 20A for my car i think >.>
