What is safer a chicken tractor or a chicken coop?
This all depends, if your chickens live in the tractor full time they should have a co-op built on to the tractor so they can get out of rain and have a safe place to go at night. A tractor is mobile while a co-op and run is not so a co-op and run would be safer as you can beef up security from predictors digging under and you use stronger materials that weigh more. If you are useing a tractor you don't want it to be to heavy to move that would defeat the purpose. So I guess to sum up the awnser a co-op and run can be safer.
What goods does Canada export to Australia?

Can you recycle in small ways?
Yes, you can bring all your glass and beer cans to the local bottle bank, and most towns will have a recycling centre where you can bring tetra paks, food tins, cardboard and even plastic. You could also invest in reusable bags (now widely available) for supermarket shopping, so you don't use up the plastic ones given away free at the till. This will dramatically reduce the amount of plastic you use up and the amount you throw in the bin.

How do you check the oil on a kawasaki mule?
if your KX 125 is a two stroke (which it most likely is. you can tell by the exhaust pipe coming from the motor. if it is huge, then it's a two stroke)
Two Stroke motors get their oil from the gas you put in the tank. the mix ratio tells how much oil is supposed to be mixed with what amount of gas. you do not check the oil in a two stroke. you just simply add it to the fuel every, i mean EVERY time you fill up.
How to set the timing on a Yamaha banshee?
You start off by setting the piston to TDC (top dead center). there is a "T" on the magneto to assist with that. once the motor is at TDC you take the exhaust valve(front one) , there are 3 numbers with arrows. take the #1 arrow and point it toward the front of the motor at the gasket surface and the #2 arrow will be pointing strait up at a roll pin of the cam chain from that roll pin, counting it as #1 count out 15 pins. on the intake valve there are also 3 numbers and arrows. on the 15th pin set the #3 arrow of the intake valve. Now the timing is set put it back together using all torque specs. the bolts are very easy to strip.

Can you build a go cart using a lawn mower engine?
I have two of them in my garage right now. They are 5.5 hp engines. You need to put a clutch on the output shaft that will allow the engine to turn at idle, but as soom as you give it gas the clutch will disengage and it will turn a chain that is connected to a sprocket on the rear axle. I hope this helps you.Brad.
but this is only the beginning. lawn mower engines have a vertical crankshaft, and a go-kart needs a horizontal. converting the two is not as easy as it seems. if you have a 4-stroke, you need to find some way of re-arranging the oil sump/oil pump, so that it works horizontally. not only that, but you have to reposition the carburettor so it is up the right way, if you can just turn it around you are lucky, but if your not, your going to have to drill and tap extra holes. if you do not do this, it will not work.
if you have a 2-stroke, you don't have to worry about the oil, as it is in the fuel, but you still have to reposition the carburettor
just go to http://gokartguru.com/go_kart_building_202.php
actually, you can make your own go kart with a vertical engine, but you need to have the rear end of a garden tractor to do it because it already has the pulleys on the axle
thanks,
Jake
EDIT: I just recently built a go cart out of a lawn mower. I used a vertical shaft engine and a external transmission from a riding lawnmower. Just slip a belt around the shaft on the engine to the pulley on the tranny and whala!

How do you adjust the governor on a golf cart?
After the carb has been adjusted to proper specs and is running ok you can adjust the governor by bending the wires to either up the rpm or to lower it.
Also a better way without ruining the wires is to adjust the small screw that holds the governor piece in place. You can loosen that screw and push or pull on the governor to adjust the rpm. Usually pushing the governor will increase the rpm. You can always readjust, so you don't have to ruin the metal pieces connecting the carb and the governor
Because of the shape of the wing, the distance over the top is longer than the distance via the underside. Therefore the air has to travel faster over the top. Now Bernoulli's Principle states, the greater the speed of a fluid the less the lateral pressure, ergo the pressure is less on the top of the wing, and lift occurs.
How much fuel does a container ship burn?
This is usually measured in pounds of fuel per horsepower per hour. Roughly speaking, 0.25 lbs/hp/hr is considered to be pretty good, and 100,000 hp is a low-side estimate of an average container ship's horsepower. This then works out to 25,000 pounds of marine diesel fuel per hour. Marine diesel weighs about 7lbs/gallon, which gets us about 3600 gallons per burned per hour. A common cruise speed is 25 knots or 28.75mph. To make the math easier, let's call it 30mph. What this means is that for a container ship to travel 30 miles, it'll burn through 3600 gallons, which is the same as burning 120 gallons to go one mile . There are 5280 feet in a mile, so if 120 gallons is good for 5280 feet, then one gallon is burned every 44 feet!!
Current_price_for_heavy_fuel_oilIndicates that the October 2008 price was 140 euro/ton (US$188/ton) for heavy fuel oil.
Answer 2Container ships don't burn quality marine diesel, they burn bunker fuel which is just a step above asphalt. It is so thick, it must be heated to extreme temperatures just to get it to flow into the engines. It is very cheap, literally pennies per gallon but very dirty, usually vented or exhausted under the ship so we don't see the pollutants destroying our environment.Answer 3
Bunker fuel no longer is pennies per gallon. As of this date, 10/23/09, bunker fuel (380 Centistoke) is about $1.66 per gallon in Los Angeles. A 7000 TEU(twenty foot equivalent units) container ship will burn about 217 tons/day. This is about $99,000 per day in fuel costs. If oil goes to $150/bbl again, You can do the math.
The Emma Maersk's 109,000 hp engine burns 1,660 gallons of HFO per hour.
Name of a Car that starts with the letter K?
Kia is a car manufactured by Kia Motors Corporation. Ka is a model manufactured by Ford Motor Corporation. Kaiser was an automobile manufactured by Kaiser-Frazer Corporation during the 1940's and 1950's. Koenigsegg is a car manufactured by Swedish company Koenigsegg Automotive AB. How to determine the make and model with only a serial number?
The modern 17 digit serial numbers are arranged in a specific sequence with the first three characters identifying the manufacturer. The next 6 digits will identify the model, trim level and engine. The following letter or number is the year, then the production plant. The last 6 digits are unique to that vehicle. Any dealer of that brand of vehicle could tell you what each digit means. If the vehicle was produced before the 17 digit system, you have to find out how that specific manufacturer arranged their serial numbers.

Rickshaws first appeared in Japan around 1868, at the beginning of the Meiji Restoration. They soon became a popular mode of transportation, since they were faster than the previously used palanquins (and human labor was considerably cheaper than using horses).
Japanese sources often credit Izumi Yosuke, Suzuki Tokujiro, and Takayama Kosuke, who are said to have invented rickshaws in 1868, inspired by the horse carriages that had been introduced to the steets of Tokyo shortly beforehand.
The identity of the inventor remains uncertain. Some sources give the American blacksmith Albert Tolman, who is said to have invented the rickshaw around 1848 in Worcester, Massachusetts for a missionary.
Others claim that Jonathan Scobie (or Goble), an American missionary to Japan, invented rickshaws around 1869 to transport his invalid wife through the streets of Yokohama. These sources claim the Rickshaw was invented in North Urbana, NY, Near Keuka Lake.
Still others say the rickshaw was designed by an American Baptist minister in 1888. This is probably incorrect, for an 1877 article by a The New York Times correspondent in Tokyo stated that the "jin-riki-sha, or man-power carriage" was in current popular use, and was probably invented by an American in 1869 or 1870.
A simple turbine.
Air is drawn into the engine continuously and compressed by a series of rotating blades. Fuel is sprayed into the combustion chamber and burnt increasing the gas temperature to around 1200C.
The hot high pressure gas expands through a second set of blades mounted on the same shaft as the compressor blades. The energy of the gas is partially expended powering the compressor, but has a residual energy which is either expended as a hot jet (resulting in thrust) or which drives a further independent set of blades to power a propeller or other device.
