Oil is a liquid organic compound made up principally of hydrogen and carbon. Oil is generally divided into two categories - plant and animal oils recovered from living organisms (olive oil, etc.) and petroleum oil recovered from vast underground deposits.

While some oil is used as fuel (bunker C, diesel, furnace oil), a large amount is used in the lubrication of moving parts.

You don't. The only place you pour coolant into this car is into the reservoir, and the piping to the radiator will be sealed by radiator sealant as it's a pretty small diameter tubing - much of the coolant system on this car is pretty small as the engine is small.

Smaller cars are a lot less tolerant of these types of fixes, you'll be lucky if you don't mess up your water pump, radiator, hoses, etc. If it were me, I'd replace the radiator and skip a possibly far more expensive repair.

Best bet would be to make sure it is actually the bulb was bad. Try checking the socket with a volt meter to see if it is receiving power when the break pedal is pressed. Also, some dielectric grease on the bulb contacts can help as well (be careful not to cause a short of course).

Try replaceing temp sensor what engine do you have the sensor for the computer will cause all short of problems when bad. this sensor should be on driver side to the right of radiator and down it has a black and yellow wire good luck.

bad thermostat, engine coolant temperature sensor(ect). not enough coolant. radiator is pluged up try flushing,or replace radiator.

When mine goes off it can be shut off by unlocking passenger door with Key

It is not possible to repair the actual head gasket. Repair of a blown head gasket is to replace the gasket.

I got 13 years service from an original equipment battery in my 97.

The original wheels are 16x7 inch but be sure to check the offset as well as the lug pattern on the Cragars before you purchase them. The lug pattern is 5x115mm and the offset should be for front wheel drive vehicles.

Its located on the back of right cylinder head ...fun too get too.....

Not sure about a 1996, but on the 1995, the fuel pump relay is located under back seat. You will find two sets of boxes directly behind the drivers seat with both having four little spring loaded tabs to remove the covers (two of the tabs are clearly seen but two are underneath the cover in the same orindation as the two you can see. The relay is under the box that is on the extreme left side of the car. It is in what Oldsmobile ID's as position "E". You can see the ID after pulling the relay printed on the white insulater base of the socket. Do not confuse E with F as the punched holes through the white insulator tends to cut off the bottom of the E and make it look like a F. F is the empty socket. If I remember correctly, the relay is certenly one of the small ones, and three of them are grey while two are black. The three (I think)greys ones are in a line on the extreme left and the two blacks are directly beside the three grey ones. The fuel pump relay is one of the black ones and the one directly above the one that seems to be missing socket F. Happy hunting, but I think it is unlikly the relay is an issue. They are well protected from the elements under the seat. The other black relay is something that Olds ID's as a DRIVERS SIDE DOOR ISOLATION RELAY, and is the identicial relay to the fuel pump and could be swapped for a test. The three grey relays have different configuration.

Engine coolant is what I'm assuming you are talking about. Engine coolant is a mix of water and etholyn glycol (antifreeze). It pulls heat away from your engine block that builds up from the friction of moving parts. The coolant mix allows the coolant to get cold to a point and not freeze because of the etholyn glycol. It is also not good to put straight antifreeze into your engine because antifreeze does not have as much cooling potential as water antifreeze mix. Also if you have just antifreeze in your engine the antifreeze will boil at a much lower temperature than a mix of aproxamalty 50/50.

Replacing the drivers side Headlight is tough, I just completed this task this weekend. I am assuming that you are trying to replace the Low Beam side. It is a lot easier to remove the cover for the breather all the way to the filter and remopve it to. With that out of the way there is an access hole that you can get your fingers through but it is tight! Remove the wire harness plug in from the bulb before you attempt to remove the bulb as the harness on does not allow the room! Turn the bulb a 1/4 turn and it should come right out and then replace!

Remove the two headlight mounting bolts and slide the entire headlight assembly forward. You can then disconnect the Bulb from the sockect and remove the bulb from the headlight housing. Installing is just as easy. Install the new bulb, connect the blulbs electrical connection and re-install the headlight. Should take about 5 minutes all togather.

It is very easy. I did this about not long ago. First pull wheel off. Then remove bolts off the bottom part. Then you access the top nut through the trunk. Just pull the side cover over then remove top nut. Be careful removing the air lines keep them free of dirt. I recommend getting the shocks from O'reilys if you can, they are bolt in just like the factory originals. I first got some from auto zone and to put those on they wanted you to change all the airlines and even a spring in the compressor.

With a small screw driver, pop out the door handle bezel.

With a pry tool, pop out the x-mas tree retainers along the outside edge then lift the door pad off upwards .

I am not a tech, but I looked up parts for my Olds on GMparts worldwide and they provided a diagram to show locations of parts. The diagram is located next to Add to Cart and it is called view illustration. It is great. Hope this helps

We had our Caravan repaired last year with a product called ThermaGasket. We have put 35000 miles on the vehicle without any problems!

The battery is located under the back seat. Simply pull up on the rear seat with a firm grip (grab the seat close to where your feet would be if you were sitting in it). The battery is located on the floor board behind the passenger seat. Simply remove the cables and take the battery out.
