However, on a 2001 Holiday Rambler Admiral, the Vin is also located on a plaque located inside the motorhome, low on the driver side cockpit wall, along with tire size and weight information.

94 went to r134. but if it is really a 93 chassis, I wouldn't know I think that was the change over year from r12 to r134

If it is a 2wd manual - tow with all 4 wheels down. Put transmission in neutral, turn key to unlock position - ignition off- and parking brake off. It works fine. I just completed a 1200 mile trip with no problem

Depending if you have AC or not they will be different. Using gates(napa) brand belts on an AC equipped Motorhome the power steering to crank V- belt(cog nearest engine and first one on) is 7410. The V-Belt that goes to fan, AC, PS and crank is 7603(second belt that goes on). The third and final belt(w/ 1 air pump) is a V-ribbed serpentine like belt is part number 060557. This belt goes around fan, alt., air pump and crank. Hope this helps. They are exactly what I put on my 1987 Pace Arrow 454 Motorhome,. If you have 2 air pumps the last belt from air pump to power steering would be 7450. Greg

Yes, the Honda approved method is as follows: Before starting out in the morning: Start and warm up the vehicle. When warm, move the shift lever through ALL positions of the shifting quadrant and finish by leaving it in neutral. Shut the engine off but LEAVE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION IN THE UNLOCKED POSITION! REPEAT THIS SEQUENCE EVERY 500 MILES! By going through this procedure you pump transmission fluid into the transmission's gear trains and and pumps. Since the average motorhome driver usually doesn't exceed 500 miles driving in one day, this procedure probably needs only to be done, on average, once every day. ThHe reason for leaving the ignition unlocked is so that the front wheels of the towed vehicle can follow the motorhome on turns and are not locked in the straight-ahead mode.

Starters are made specifically for certain engine and transmission combinations. The snout of the starter must be the correct length for the worm gear to engage the ring gear. If you have the wrong starter, the worm gear will not engage properly. If the ring gear is damaged, the starter might be operating properly, but have no teeth to engage. If the solenoid is not working, the starter motor will spin, but the worm gear will not be pushed forward to engage the ring gear. Remove the starter, and visually check the ring gear for missing teeth. If the ring gear appears to be intact, take the starter back to the place where it was purchased and have it tested. If the starter tests good, check the solenoid wiring on the vehicle to insure that the solenoid is being energized. If all of these steps fail to identify the problem, return the starter and get a different starter out of stock and compare them. You might have a mislabeled starter.

Remove the driveshaft. There were no manual transmission Trailblazers, so flat towing without removing the driveshaft really isn't an option.

My 1977 22' Wilderness tandam axel weighs 5000 lbs. It is self contained, with two full propane tanks and battery, water tanks empty, and this is the weight. Add about 160 more pounds if the water tank is full. Also remember that everything you put inside of it adds to that weight. Hope this helps a little.

If the rear brakes are smoking, the parking brake cables may be frozen. The dash light may indicate that the parking brakes are released but the switch for the light is connected only to the parking brake lever NOT the actual parking brake shoe assembly. Another possible cause for rear brake lock-up is a malfunctioning rear brake proportioning valve. This valve controls hydraulic pressure to the rear brakes. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and should be changed on a regular basis. Vehicle inactivity and moisture in the brake fluid is a recipe for frozen or rusty brake components. Hope this helps you out!

find out if the person selling it is black, just kidding america.. haha. but yea check the frame vin and body tags if they match up, missing paperwork cash only, and if the seller cannot accurately answer questions on how to operate different components or they're locations. Also a sure sign is if the person offers a cash only price that is way freaking awesome then you get there and they is no camper just a gun pointed at you.

You can tow a 1998 Ford Explorer 4 wheel drive, automatic transmission behind a motor home if the motor home has a large enough engine. Most full-size motor homes are capable of towing large vehicles.

Find out the towing capacity by checking the manufacturer's towing guide. Subtract the gross vehicle weight from the gross combined vehicle weight rating. In most cases that will be about 5,000 pounds but don't assume you can tow 5,000 pounds comfortably and safely. Motorhomes, especially the larger gasoline-powered models, operate near the top limits of the engine and transmission. It is best to select a towed vehicle in the 3,000 pounds area or less I assume it is an automatic, check with the dealership to see if transmission damage will occur

A VIN number is to give a accurate description of a vehicle. The first number identifies the country in which the vehicle was made. Second number tells who manufactured the car. Third number identifies the vehicle type or manufacturing division. Numbers four through eight gives the features such as engine type, body style, model, and series. The ninth number is used to identity the VIN'S accuracy. Character ten identifies the year. For example the year 1988 is represented with a J, 1989 is a K and so on. Which plant the car was made in is the eleventh character. And then twelve through seventeen identifies the sequence of the vehicle for production as it rolled off the manufacturers assembly line. Now knowing all this information your model name is found in characters four through eight.

a great way to fix this is to get whats called a timesert insert kit i did this on my 5.4 liter ford and it worked great without removing head its kind like a helicoil but special designed for this problem
